The IEEE 802.15.4 standard has been introduced for low latency and low energy consumption in wireless sensor networks. To better support the requirements of industrial applications, where the use of this standard is limited, the low latency deterministic network (LLDN) mechanism of the IEEE 802.15.4e amendment has been proposed. In this paper, we develop a three dimensional Markov chain model for the IEEE 802.15.4e LLDN mechanism. Then, we estimate the stationary probability distribution of this chain in order to derive theoretical expressions of some performance metrics, as the reliability, energy consumption, throughput, delay and jitter. After that, we conduct a comparative study between the IEEE 802.15.4e LLDN and the IEEE 802.15.4 slotted carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA). Numerical results show that the deterministic behavior of the LLDN mechanism significantly reduces the collision probability providing best performances in terms of reliability, energy consumption, throughput and delay compared to the IEEE 802.15.4 slotted CSMA/CA. Finally, the accuracy of our theoretical analysis is validated by Monte Carlo simulations.  相似文献

The phase-amplitude coupling factor (α-factor) is one of the fundamental parameters of semiconductor lasers. We show that this factor can be evaluated by time-resolved spectroscopic measurements in pulsed regime. Experiments are carried out with injectionseeded single-mode GaAs lasers whose active stripe includes regions of saturable absorption made by ion implantation. We show that the measured pulse downchirp is proportional to pulse energy. The downchirp amplitude is found to approach four laser cavity intermode spacings at the highest energies. Correspondingly, the ±-values can be five times higher than those reported to date in litterature. High a-values are confirmed in pulse compression experiments. Several mechanisms are proposed to interprete these new results.  相似文献

The electromagnetic coupling to an angled two-strip transmission line is analysed to constructing an angled two-plate transmission line equivalent to the original geometry, and then solving the cylindrical transmission line equations of the original source analytically. The corrosion behaviour of microcrystalline Cu-Ni-Sn alloys produced by rapid solidification was studied and compared to that of conventionally cast alloys. Due to the great chemical homogeneity provided by rapid solidification, the corrosion resistance of the microcrystalline material was superior to that of conventional material. The former material developed a more uniform and homogeneous barrier layer in 3% NaCl solutions. The electrochemical behaviour of the studied alloys was dependent on the Sn content. The influence of the Ni content on the corrosion performance of both types of materials is also discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of continuous and discrete state estimation for a class of linear switched systems with additive faults is studied. The class of systems under study can contain non‐minimum phase zeroes in some of their ‘operating modes’. The conditions for exact reconstruction of the discrete state are given using structural properties of the switched system. The state space is decomposed into the strongly observable part, the non‐strongly observable part, and the unobservable part, to analyze the effect of the unknown inputs. State observers based on high‐order sliding mode to exactly estimate the strongly observable part and Luenberger‐like observers to estimate the remaining parts are proposed. For the case when the exact estimation of the state cannot be achieved, the ultimate bounds on the estimation errors are provided. The proposed strategy includes a high‐order sliding‐mode‐based fault detection and a fault identification scheme via the solution of a Volterra integral equation. We present a novel comprehensive optimization model for designing reconfigurable machining lines. Due to the proposed fine mathematical modelling, it is possible to optimize simultaneously the whole set of machines and machining modules as well as their cutting parameters, their configuration that will be used for processing of each part and part position at each machine. The experimental results show that the proposed optimization approach substantially outperforms the existing heuristic design method and therefore it can be used by the designers in order to reduce the total system cost and improve the efficiency of reconfigurable machining lines.  相似文献

Thermal loading induces modifications of the precipitation microstructure of Al–Si–Cu–Mg alloys. This study focuses on the effect of deformation on precipitation microstructure during thermomechanical loadings. Several specimens were thermomechanically cycled while others were exposed to the same thermal cycles without any mechanical loading. The nature and morphological characteristics of the precipitation microstructure of the thermomechanically cycled specimens are compared to those of the thermally aged ones, using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), in order to assess the effect of deformation on the precipitation microstructure and especially on the kinetics of precipitate growth. The absence of any significant effect of superimposed straining during thermal cycling is discussed. Implications for the prevision of yield strength degradation during service operation are briefly presented.
