Multirobot motion coordination in space and time   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
This paper describes a solution to the multirobot motion planning problem based on a decoupled analysis in the space domain and in the time domain. It investigates the practical use of the notion of motion plan quality and of the motion plan robustness measures for computing safe motions. The use of anytime algorithms allows one to evaluate the opportunity of looking for alternative solution paths by generating small variations of robot motions affecting both its geometrical path and its scheduled velocity. By using the concept of plan robustness, several alternative paths are generated and evaluated through various performance indices and impact factors, using heuristic rules. These indices allow one to know how much a variation affects a given plan. Finally, some recent experiments are outlined.  相似文献

When talking about reverse engineering, it is necessary to focus on the management of point clouds. Generally speaking, every 3D scanner device codifies simple and complex geometries providing different point cloud densities as an output. Point cloud density is usually more correlated with the technical specifications of the device employed rather than with the morphology of the object acquired. This situation is due to the frequent use of structured grids by a large quantity of devices. In order to solve this problem, we therefore need to integrate the classical structured grid acquisition with a smart selective one, which is able to identify different point cloud densities in accordance with the morphological complexity of the object regions acquired.Currently, we can reach the destination in many different ways. Each of them is able to provide different performances depending on the object morphology and the performances of 3D scanner devices. Unfortunately, there does not yet exist one universal approach able to be employed in all cases. For this reason, the present paper aims to propose a first analysis of the available methodologies and parameters, in order to provide final users with some guidelines for supporting their decisions according to the specific application they are facing. Moreover, the developed guidelines have been illustrated and validated by a series of case studies of the proposed method.  相似文献

Diamond wire is widely used for stone cutting; it is typically employed to extract a block in quarry and to square the block in a machining company. In particular, the frames to square or to cut the blocks present many technological limits, such as the high costs of the diamond wire, the frequent break of the diamond wire during cutting, the poor quality of cut surfaces, and the dangerous process and productivity lower than that of the same tool used in a quarry. The present work shows an innovative prototype machine to cut by a diamond wire which overcomes the aforementioned technological limits. The developed machine has a bridge frame among which two pulleys move the diamond wire as regards the stone block according with the feed speed. The diamond wire moves on the two pulleys with a cutting speed. A tensile force is applied to the wire that twists it during the contact with the stone, instead of keeping it along a straight direction parallel to the foundation of the machine. The twisting of the diamond wire makes the use of the wire itself more productive and safer, since the wear of each single bead during cutting is more uniform. Moreover, the resulting specific pressure acts on each bead along the arc of contact with the cut block and increases along the cutting direction from the entrance to the exit of the contact with the stone. The increasing of the specific pressure causes a bending of the diamond wire during the contact with the stone. The developed prototype was provided with a sensory system to measure both the cutting power and the tensile force of the diamond wire during experimental tests. In this way it was possible to verify the functionality of the prototype plant and, in the same time, to evaluate the productivity of the implemented cutting process.  相似文献

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) frequently affects both the basic and the superordinate components of attention; deficits vary according to patient age. This study evaluated the efficacy of a specific remediation intervention for attention. Sixty-five TBI patients (aged 6?18 years) with attention deficit were assessed at baseline and at 1-year follow-up: 40 patients received attention-specific neuropsychological training for 6 months, and the control group comprised 25 patients. Cognitive assessment included a Wechsler Intelligence Scale (e.g., A. Orsini, 1993) and the Continuous Performance Test II (CPT II; C. K. Conners, 2000). The Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (VABS; S. Sparrow, D. Balla & D. V. Cicchetti, 1984) was administered to assess the treatment's ecological validity. At baseline, all patients presented with a mild intellectual disability and pathological scores on the CPT II. At follow-up, significant differences were found between the 2 groups on the CPT II and VABS: The clinical group improved more than the control group. Specific remediation training for attention, including a combination of a process-specific approach and metacognitive strategies, significantly improved attention performance. In this paper, the Causal Recursive Back-Propagation (CRBP) algorithm is employed to train on-line an Infinite Impulse Response–Locally Recurrent Neural Network (IIR–LRNN) for modelling the dynamics of a next-generation nuclear reactor. SPIDER, the ion source test bed in the ITER neutral beam test facility, is under construction and its operation is expected to start in 2014. Control and data acquisition for SPIDER are undergoing final design. SPIDER CODAS, as the control and data acquisition system is referred to, is requested to manage 25 plant units, to acquire 1000 analogue signals with sampling rates ranging from a few S/s to 10 MS/s, to acquire images with up to 100 frames per second, to operate with long pulses lasting up to 1 h, and to sustain 200 MB/s data throughput into the data archive with an annual data storage amount of up to 50 TB. SPIDER CODAS software architecture integrates three open-source software frameworks each addressing specific system requirements. Slow control exploits the synergy among EPICS and Siemens S7 programmable controllers. Data handling is by MDSplus a data-centric framework that is geared towards the collection and organization of scientific data. Diagnostics based on imaging drive the design of data throughput and archive size. Fast control is implemented by using MARTe, a data-driven, object-oriented, real-time environment. The paper will describe in detail the progress of the system hardware and software architecture and will show how the software frameworks interact to provide the functions requested by SPIDER CODAS. The paper will focus on how the performance requirements can be met with the described SPIDER CODAS architecture, describing the progress achieved by carrying out prototyping activities.  相似文献

Within the framework of the project FLEXCHARGE, performed within the RFCS steel research program, a team including research institutes and steel producers developed and tested in an industrial environment a methodology to effectively manage the EAF charged with variable materials. Statistical and deterministic methods were used together to determine yield and composition of different scrap types as well as the influence of the scrap mix on the off-gas emission and the slag composition. The paper summarizes the most relevant results obtained at four different EAF plants by applying the improved process control and by performing industrial trials for different steel grades. It also shows how the use of low quality scrap types in the charge mix has been maximized, considering the tramp element restrictions and scrap availability, yield as well as specific energy consumption.  相似文献

Solenoid current regulation is well-known and standard in any proportional electro-hydraulic valve. The goal is to provide a wide-band transfer function from the reference to the measured current, thus making the solenoid a fast and ideal force actuator within the limits of the power supplier. The power supplier is usually a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) amplifier fixing the voltage bound and the Nyquist frequency of the regulator. Typical analog regulators include three main terms: a feedforward channel, a proportional feedback channel and the electromotive force compensation. The latter compensation may be accomplished by integrative feedback. Here the problem is faced through a model-based design (Embedded Model Control), on the basis of a wide-band embedded model of the solenoid which includes the effect of eddy currents. To this end model parameters must be identified. The embedded model includes a stochastic disturbance dynamics capable of estimating and correcting the electromotive contribution together with parametric uncertainty, variability and state dependence. The embedded model which is fed by the measured current and the supplied voltage becomes a state predictor of the controllable and disturbance dynamics. The control law combines reference generator, state feedback and disturbance rejection to dispatch the PWM amplifier with the appropriate duty cycle. Modeling, identification and control design are outlined together with experimental result. Comparison with an existing analog regulator is also provided.  相似文献
