New avenues to add value to glycerol are currently being explored. One of them is the synthesis of structured lipids through glycerol esterification. In this work we have analyzed the recovery and purification of dicaprin obtained by esterification of glycerol with capric acid (C) in heptane, mediated by Lipozyme RM IM. This is an intermediate step to obtain lipids MLM. In the first stage, the diglyceride synthesis MGM (being G a central HC–OH) was carried out. When M = C, the diglyceride is CGC. Recovery of the diglyceride CGC is required to carry out the esterification of the sn-2 position with palmitic acid (P), thus obtaining the triglyceride CPC. Different solvents were evaluated using Ecofac 1.0 (a molecular design software solvent) through a theoretical approach to explore the best solvents for the acylglycerides separation. Then, the performance of the selected solvents to separate dicaprin from mono and tricaprin was experimentally studied in a liquid–liquid extraction process. Previously, the remaining fatty acid had been neutralized. With liquid–liquid extraction in three simple steps, using ethanol/water, 94 % of the dicaprin obtained by enzymatic esterification was recovered with a purity of 89 % (wt%). It was also possible to obtain dicaprin with a purity of 97 % but with a yield of 56 %.  相似文献

Thermal stability and degradation kinetic of the polyimides containing pendent-substituted azobenzene units were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis in nitrogen at different heating rates. Freeman–Carroll, Coats–Redfern and Flynn–Wall–Ozawa methods were utilized to obtain the kinetic parameters (activation energy E a, pre-exponential factor A and order of reaction n) or variation of activation energy with conversion degree from thermogravimetric and derivative thermogravimetric curves. The thermogravimetric analysis revealed that the decomposition of azopolyimides proceeds in three or four stages, regardless of heating rate.  相似文献

The esterification of cellulose hydroxyl groups with natural carboxylic acids in mild conditions represents an adequate pathway in obtaining cellulose derivatives with different useful properties. In this article, authors report the synthesis of new mixed ester of cellulose and cellulose acetate nicotinate (CAN) , in a homogenous medium using DMF as solvent, cellulose acetate (CA) as starting cellulosic material, and nicotinic acid as an esterification agent in the presence of p-toluenesulfonyl chloride and pyridine. FTIR and NMR techniques were used to prove the binding of nicotinoyl group at free hydroxyl groups of CA. The obtained CAN was electrospun by electrospinning technique to obtain adsorbent ultrafine fibers, evidenced by SEM images, with high specific surface area. Monolayer Langmuir and empirical Leundrich isotherms were used to assess the adsorption capacity for rhodamine B dye of electrospun CAN in comparison with that of electrospun CA used as starting material. Langmuir isotherm led to a better assessment of experimental data suggesting that the adsorption is mainly determined by hydrogen bonds formed between carboxylic OH hydrogen bonding donor and pyridine N hydrogen bonding acceptor. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Apical membrane antigen 1 is a microneme protein which plays an indispensable role during Apicomplexa parasite invasion. The detailed mechanism of AMA-1 molecular interaction with its receptor on bovine erythrocytes has not been completely defined in Babesia bovis. This study was focused on identifying the minimum B. bovis AMA-1-derived regions governing specific and high-affinity binding to its target cells. Different approaches were used for detecting ama-1 locus genetic variability and natural selection signatures. The binding properties of twelve highly conserved 20-residue-long peptides were evaluated using a sensitive and specific binding assay based on radio-iodination. B. bovis AMA-1 ectodomain structure was modelled and refined using molecular modelling software. NetMHCIIpan software was used for calculating B- and T-cell epitopes. The B. bovis ama-1 gene had regions under functional constraint, having the highest negative selective pressure intensity in the Domain I encoding region. Interestingly, B. bovis AMA-1-DI (100YMQKFDIPRNHGSGIYVDLG119 and 120GYESVGSKSYRMPVGKCPVV139) and DII (302CPMHPVRDAIFGKWSGGSCV321)-derived peptides had high specificity interaction with erythrocytes and bound to a chymotrypsin and neuraminidase-treatment sensitive receptor. DI-derived peptides appear to be exposed on the protein’s surface and contain predicted B- and T-cell epitopes. These findings provide data (for the first-time) concerning B. bovis AMA-1 functional subunits which are important for establishing receptor-ligand interactions which could be used in synthetic vaccine development.  相似文献

A chelating fibrous polymer with metal complexing ability was prepared by partial conversion of the nitrile groups of melana (an acrylonitrile‐based synthetic fiber) into amidoxime groups ? C(NH2) = NOH using a solution of 3% hydroxylamine in methanol by refluxing at 80°C. The molar ratio of NH2OH/CN and the reaction time were adjusted to values of 0.9 and 2 h, respectively. The amidoximated polyacrylonitrile fiber with a 2.89 meq/g ion‐exchange capacity functions as an efficient chelating adsorbent for palladium ions. The pH dependence, the contact time, and the temperature of palladium ion retention from a model solution on amidoximated acrylic fiber were studied. The fibrous chelating adsorbent exhibited high affinity for palladium ions in acidic solution (pH = 2–6) at high temperature (50–60°C). The values of parameters qm and KL (from the Langmuir equation) determined at different temperatures of adsorption and the thermodynamic quantities ΔG, ΔH, and ΔS were calculated. Extraction of polyphenols from sea buckthorn leaves using microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) is described. The influence of different parameters on the extraction process (reactor type, stirring rate, extraction time, temperature, ethanol/water ratio) was studied. The polyphenolic extracts were analyzed in order to determine the total phenolic content (TPC) either by the Folin–Ciocalteu method or by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and the concentration of the main polyphenolic compounds by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The specific microwave energy was also determined. MAE resulted in a shorter extraction time (7.5 versus 30 min for the conventional method). The best results for MAE were obtained at a temperature of 90°C, using a solvent/plant ratio of 20/1 and 50% ethanol in the extraction solvent. The highest values of antioxidant capacity were obtained for polyphenolic extracts resulted from microwave extraction.  相似文献

Computer-aided geometric design is an area where the improvement of surface generation techniques is an everlasting demand, since faster and more accurate geometric models are required. Traditional methods for generating surfaces were initially mainly based upon interpolation algorithms. Recently, partial differential equations (PDE) were introduced as a valuable tool for geometric modelling, since they offer a number of features from which these areas can benefit. This work summarizes the uses given to PDE surfaces as a surface generation technique together with some other applications to computer graphics.  相似文献

The moisture equilibrium isotherms of garlic and apple were determined at 50, 60 and 70 °C using the gravimetric static method. The experimental data were analysed using GAB, BET, Henderson–Thompson and Oswin equations. The isosteric heat and the differential entropy of desorption were determined by applying Clausius–Clapeyron and Gibbs–Helmholtz equations, respectively. The GAB equation showed the best fitting to the experimental data (R2 > 99% and E% < 10%). The monolayer moisture content values for apple were higher than those for garlic at the studied temperatures; the values varied from 0.050 to 0.056 and from 0.107 to 0.168 for garlic and apple, respectively. The isosteric heat and the differential entropy of desorption were estimated in function of the moisture content. The values of these thermodynamic properties were higher for apple (in range 48–100 kJ mol?1 and 14–150 J mol?1 K?1) than for garlic (in range 43–68 kJ mol?1 and 0–66 J mol?1 K?1). The water surface area values decreased with increasing temperature. The Kelvin and the Halsey equations were used to calculate the pore size distribution.  相似文献
