The efect of the grounded electrode diameter on the ignition voltage using 13.56 MHz in argon gas is studied experimentally.The results indicate a systematic decrease of the breakdown voltage with increasing electrode area for the same pd value.No multi-valued breakdown voltages are observed.The Paschen minimum is not afected by the electrode diameter as long as the parallel plane approximation is valid.A modified Paschen equation which takes into account indirect discharge via the chamber walls at high pd values gives reasonable fits to the experimental data. 相似文献

The effect of individual phospholipids and tocopherols as well as their combinations on the oxidative stability of borage and evening primrose triacylglycerols (TAG) was investigated. Based on conjugated dienes (CD) and 2-thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) formed in borage and evening primrose TAG, the antioxidant effectiveness of phosphatidylcholine (PC), was higher than that of phosphotidylethanolamine (PE) in borage TAG while the reverse was observed for evening primrose TAG. Meanwhile, a synergistic effect between tocopherols and phospholipids in both borage and evening primrose TAG was noted. The most effective combination in borage TAG was that of PC and α-tocopherol, while PE with α-tocopherol exerted the best effects in evening primrose TAG. Therefore, the antioxidant effectiveness of phospholipids may vary depending on their fatty acid composition, nature of the functional groups and the chemical composition of the lipid system in which they are examined. A chronic wound in diabetic patients is a major public health concern withsocioeconomic and clinical manifestations.The underlying medical condition of diabeticpatients deteriorates the wound through physiological,metabolic,molecular,and cellularpathologies.Consequently,a wound enters a vicious pathological inflammatory cycle.Many therapeutic approaches are in practice to manage diabetic wounds hence ensuringthe regeneration process.Polymer-based biomaterials have come up with hightherapeutic promises.Many efforts have been devoted,over the years,to build aneffective wound healing material using polymers.The electrospinning technique,although not new,has turned out to be one of the most effective strategies in buildingwound healing biomaterials due to the special structural advantages of electrospunnanofibers over the other formulations.In this review,careful integration of allelectrospinning approaches has been presented which will not only give an insight intothe current updates but also be helpful in the development of new therapeutic materialconsidering pathophysiological conditions of a diabetic wound. 相似文献

Charging mechanism of dust particles has been considered as a growing research area in dusty plasma physics because of its exciting results. In this paper, we consider a low-temperature non- equilibrium multispecies plasma model, which consists of Vasyliunas–Cairns (VC) distributed electrons, negative/positive streaming ions, and negatively-charged dust grains to explain the charging mechanism of dust grains. The main theme of this work is to derive expressions of currents for negatively-charged dust grains (considering an equilibrium state position) in the plasma environment comprised of electrons and positive/negative streaming ions using the VC distribution function. Our proposed model shows that the dust grain surface potential is significantly affected by different plasma parameters such as the negative ion streaming velocity (Sn), positive ion streaming velocity (Si), spectral indices of VC distribution, negative ion charging state (Zn), positive ion charging state (Zi), and negative ion number density (ρ). 相似文献
