The paper describes a monitoring and control platform development for arc welding processes, which provides versatility and efficiency in the scientific study of the welding technology. The implemented system is capable of executing different welding processes and promotes substantial logical operation changes in a simple and didactic way. Among the innovations promoted by the development of the system is the ability to draw MIG/MAG welding process current waveforms, thereby allowing studies related to metal transfer, and, as a consequence of this, making technological innovations to this process. The monitoring and control platform has been developed to be able to absorb new technologies, allowing upgrades along the welding process evolution path. In this context, this system is a significant potential alternative to studies related to welding, in educational and research institutions within and outside the country.  相似文献

Edible active films based on sodium caseinate (SC) and calcium caseinate (CC) plasticized with glycerol (G) at three different concentrations and carvacrol (CRV) as active agent were prepared by solvent casting. Transparent films were obtained and their surfaces were analysed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The influence of the addition of three different plasticizer concentrations was studied by determining tensile properties, while Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were used to evaluate the structural and thermal behavior of such films. The addition of glycerol resulted in a reduction in the elastic modulus and tensile strength, while some increase in the elongation at break was observed. In general terms, SC films showed flexibility higher than the corresponding CC counterparts. In addition, the presence of carvacrol caused further improvements in ductile properties suggesting the presence of stronger interactions between the protein matrix and glycerol, as it was also observed in thermal degradation studies. FTIR spectra of all films showed the characteristic bands and peaks corresponding to proteins as well as to primary and secondary alcohols. In summary, the best results regarding mechanical and structural properties for caseinates-based films containing carvacrol were found for the formulations with high glycerol concentrations.  相似文献

The chemical and physical properties of a Brazilian heavy oil submitted to plasma treatment were investigated by 1H low- and high-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) combined to the characterization of rheological properties, thermogravimetry and measurement of basic sediments and water (BSW) content. The crude oil was treated in a dielectric barrier discharge plasma reactor, using natural gas, CO2 or H2 as working gas. The results indicated a large drop in the water content of the plasma-treated samples as compared to the crude oil, giving rise to a reduction in the viscosity. No significant chemical change was produced in the oil portion itself, as observed by 1H NMR. The water contents determined by 1H low-field NMR analyses agreed well with those obtained by BSW, indicating the low-field NMR methods as a useful tool for following the effects of plasma treatments on heavy oils, allowing the separation of the effects caused on the water and oil fractions.  相似文献

In this article, a new method to characterize the tear behavior of coated textiles using fracture mechanics is proposed. The energy dissipated in tearing (EDT) of as‐received and thermally aged samples of polyester fabric, polyvinyl acetate rubber coating, and textile‐coating composites was calculated and compared. The EDT of the coated fabric displayed a slightly smaller value than the fabric alone, whereas the EDT of the coating was found to be negligible when compared with the other two. The presence of the coating is believed to have a detrimental effect on the tearing behavior of the coated fabric as it hinders interfilament slippage. A master curve of EDT retention vs. aging time for noncoated and coated fabric samples was constructed using the time–temperature superposition principle and fitted using the Hill equation. Fourier transform infrared analyses carried out on aged fabric samples hinted at a possible chain scission process, whereas the crystallinity of fabric samples, calculated via differential scanning calorimetry, was found to decrease after thermal aging. Scanning electron microscopy images revealed an increase in surface roughness after aging that may reduce interfilament friction. These results, coupled to an increase in the adhesion strength between fabric and coating, are likely the cause of the reduction of EDT noticed in aged coated and noncoated fabrics compared with as‐received ones. This research evaluates the effect of the equivalence ratio on knocking tendency in two Spark Ignition (SI) engines fueled with gaseous fuels. A Lister Petter TR2 Diesel engine (TR2) converted to SI was used to evaluate the equivalence ratio effect when the engine was fueled with fuel blends of biogas, natural gas, propane, and hydrogen. A Cooperative Fuel Research (CFR) engine was used to study the effect of equivalence ratio on the Critical Compression Ratio (CCR) which is a metric to evaluate the knocking tendency of gaseous fuels. In both engines, the tests were conducted using the knocking threshold as the engine limit operation to quantify the effect of the equivalence ratio on knocking tendency. Experimental results in the CFR engine revealed that a lean mixture reduces the knocking tendency allowing to operate the CFR engine at higher CCR. In contrast, the effect of the equivalence ratio on the knocking tendency in the TR2 engine was different since leaner mixtures increased the engine knocking tendency. This tendency was caused by the increase in the % throttle which increased the mixture pressure at the end of the compression stroke. The high knocking tendency to lean mixtures forces to reduce the output power to find the knocking threshold for all fuel blends.  相似文献

Natural antioxidants are added in very low amounts to protect a polypropylene (PP) matrix against thermo‐oxidative degradation during processing. Thus, PP is melt‐blended with caffeic, chlorogenic, trans‐ferrulic, and p‐coumaric acids, and also with flavone and 3‐hydroxyflavone at 0.1 wt% with respect to the PP matrix. Neat PP and PP blended with three traditional antioxidants are prepared for comparison. A complete structural, thermal, and mechanical characterization is conducted. Ferrulic acid and particularly caffeic acid increases the thermal stability, showing also the highest activation energy. The structural changes of PP‐based films due to the polymer thermal degradation at high temperature (i.e., 400 °C) followed by FTIR reveal that antioxidants effectively delay the thermal degradation process. The wettability and the mechanical performance are also studied to get information regarding the industrial application of such films. While caffeic acid provides a more flexible material, ferrulic acid provides higher water resistance. Finally, AFM‐QNM shows that PP with caffeic acid has the highest miscibility.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the performance, milk composition, blood and urinary biochemical parameters and milk fatty acid profile of Saanen goats fed pornunça silage‐based diets containing different levels of tannin (11, 28, 36 and 44 g/kg dry matter). Intake of feed, milk production, milk composition and biochemical parameters were affected (< 0.05). The content of 10:0, 12:0 and 14:0 fatty acids decreased, while those of 18:0, cis‐9 18:1, trans‐11 18:1, cis‐9, trans‐11 18:2 and cis‐9, cis‐12, cis‐15 18:3 increased as more tannin was added (< 0.05). The ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids increased, while the thrombogenicity and atherogenicity indices decreased as tannin was increased (< 0.05). The inclusion of up to 28 g/kg of tannin was the most appropriate level to improve the fatty acid profiles of goats’ milk and prevent further falls in dry matter intake and milk production.  相似文献

Reducing the number of evaluations of expensive fitness functions is one of the main concerns in evolutionary algorithms, especially when working with instances of contemporary engineering problems. As an alternative to this efficiency constraint, surrogate-based methods are grounded in the construction of approximate models that estimate the solutions’ fitness by modeling the relationships between solution variables and their performance. This paper proposes a methodology based on granular computing for the construction of surrogate models for evolutionary algorithms. Under the proposed method, granules are associated with representative solutions of the problem under analysis. New solutions are evaluated with the expensive (original) fitness function only if they are not already covered by an existing granule. The parameters defining granules are periodically adapted as the search goes on using a neuro-fuzzy network that does not only reduce the number of fitness function evaluations, but also provides better convergence capabilities. The proposed method is evaluated on classical benchmark functions and on a recent benchmark created to test large-scale optimization models. Our results show that the proposed method considerably reduces the actual number of fitness function evaluations without significantly degrading the quality of solutions.  相似文献
