This study examines the effect of particle size, temperature, and weight fraction on the thermal conductivity ratio of alumina(Al2O3)/water nanofluids. A Al2O3/water nanofluid produced by the direct synthesis method served as the experimental sample, and nanoparticles, each of a different nominal diameter (20, 50, and 100 nm), were dispersed into four different concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 wt%). This experiment measured the thermal conductivity of nanofluids with different particle sizes, weight fractions, and working temperatures (10, 30, 50 °C). The results showed a correlation between high thermal conductivity ratios and enhanced sensitivity, and small nanoparticle size and higher temperature. This research utilized experimental data to construct a new empirical equation, taking the nanoparticle size, temperature, and lower weight fraction of the nanofluid into consideration. Comparing the regression results with the experimental values, the margin of error was within ?3.5% to +2.7%. The proposed empirical equation showed reasonably good agreement with our experimental results.  相似文献

Mutual funds are an essential tool for investors looking to diversify their investments. Facing various mutual funds, it is necessary to evaluate their performances. This study uses association rules to understand the relationships among various mutual funds. First, equity funds are categorized into high, medium and low risk levels. This study then evaluates the co-movement among funds within the same risk level and among funds across different risk levels. This study concludes that within any given risk level, the performances of at least seven funds exhibit strong co-movement. This study also shows the influence of the global economy on the correlations among different funds. Finally, investment recommendations are provided based on the findings.  相似文献

目的 探讨恙虫病的临床特点,为临床诊断和治疗提供依据.方法 回顾性分析我院10收治的420例恙虫病,分析比较儿童和成人恙虫病的特点,并分析误诊和死亡原因.结果 (1)420例恙虫病患者,儿童105例,占25.0%;成人315例,占75.0%.(2)儿童患者肝功能异常、脑损害、间质性肺炎、肾损害及血液系统损害的发生率均高于成人组(均P<0.01或0.05).心肌损害发生率在儿童及成人患者之间差异无统计学意义.(3)儿童并发多器官损害32例,占30.5%,成人组并发多器官损害60例,占19.0%,两者比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).(4)420例入院时明确诊断370例,均有发热和焦痂,最后误诊11例,误诊率2.6%.(5)死亡7例(1.7%),均为多器官功能衰竭所致,儿童与成人病死率差异无统计学意义(1.9%vs1.6%,P>0.05).结论 恙虫病临床表现多样,易致多器官损害,儿童比成人更容易出现多器官功能损害,早期诊治是降低病死率的关键.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: As the largest producer and consumer of freshwater fish in the world, many people suffer from allergy for consuming freshwater fish in China. However, the allergen profiles of freshwater fish are rarely known. RESULTS: Parvalbumins (PVs) from the white muscle of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthy molitrix) were purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation and column chromatography including DEAE‐Sepharose and Superdex 75. Three PV isoforms—PV‐I, PV‐II, and PV‐III—were obtained and their molecular masses as estimated by tricine–sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were 12, 11, and 14 kDa, respectively. All the PVs could be detected by anti‐frog PV monoclonal antibody. PV‐I and PV‐II were quite possibly glycoproteins, while PV‐III was not glycosylated, as analyzed by periodic acid–Schiff (PAS) staining. Thermal stability revealed that PV‐I and PV‐II easily formed polymers, while these proteins were stable in a pH range of 4.0–10.0. A PV gene encoding 110 amino acid residues was cloned and it revealed high identity with PVs from other species of fish. CONCLUSION: Three isotypes of PV were purified to homogeneity and one distinct PV gene was cloned in silver carp white muscle. Copyright © 2010 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

The behaviors of improved Heat transfer and the associated higher pressure drop for liquid flow in rectangular micochannels with longitudinal vortex generators (LVGs) were determined experimentally for the Reynolds numbers of 170–1200 with hydraulic diameter of 187.5 μm and aspect ratio of 0.067 for LVGs with different number of pairs and angles of attack. It was found that the range of critical Reynolds numbers (600–730) were at a much smaller value by adding LVGs than the one without (Re  2300); heat transfer performance was improved (9–21% higher for those with laminar flow and 39–90% for those with turbulent flow), while encountering larger pressure drop (34–83% for laminar flow and 61–169% for turbulent flow). Empirical correlations for these two parameters were then obtained by curve-fittings for a variety of rectangular microchannels under study.  相似文献

The co-extraction behavior of galena-pyrolusite in a sodium chloride solution and the electrochemical mechanism of this process were investigated, and some factors affecting the leaching rate of Pb and Mn were optimized. The results show that all the factors such as the concentration of NaCl, HCl and pyrolusite ore, reaction time, temperature, adding times of HCl, affect the leaching rate of Pb. The main affecting factors are the concentration of NaCl, reaction time and temperature. The Tafel polarization curves and EIS plots of the galena and pyrolusite in the NaCl solution demonstrate that during the oxidation process of galena mineral electrode, film forms on the galena surface, which prevents galena from deeper oxidation. However, the film resistance can be greatly reduced in the presence of sodium chloride, thus promoting the reaction rate of galena.  相似文献
