ABSTRACT The polymeric resins containing diethylenetriamine, tetraethylenepentamine, 2-(diethylamino)ethanol, 1-methylimidazole, and 1,2-dimethylimidazole ligands have been synthesized from vinylbenzyl chloride-divinylbenzene copolymers and used in the removal of Ag(I) from chloride solution. The best Ag(I) sorption was reached in the case of 1-methylimidazole resin. Resins retain their capacity towards Ag(I) in five consecutive sorption/desorption cycles. The resins with imidazole ligands were highly selective for Ag(I) from synthetic chloride solution and they did not sorb chloride complexes of Cu(II). Additionally, the recovery of Ag(I) was tested from real chloride solution coming from leaching of the copper concentrate from Lubin Concentrator (KGHM Polska Mied? S.A.). 相似文献

A mathematical model of the liquidus surface based on a reduced polynomial method was proposed for the system HfO2 -Y2 O3 -Er2 O3 . The results of calculations according to this model agree fairly well with the experimental data. Phase equilibria in the system HfO2 -Y2 O3 -Er2 O3 were studied on melted (as-cast) and annealed samples using X-ray diffraction (at room and high temperatures) and micro-structural and petrographic analyses. The crystallization paths in the system HfO2 -Y2 O3 -Er2 O3 were established. The system HfO2 -Y2 O3 -Er2 O3 is characterized by the formation of extended solid solutions based on the fluorite-type (F) form of HfO2 and cubic (C) and hexagonal (H) forms of Y2 O3 and Er2 O3 . The boundary curves of these solid solutions have the minima at 2370°C (15. 5 mol% HfO2 , 49. 5 mol% Y2 O3 ) and 2360°C (10. 5 mol% HfO2 , 45. 5 mol% Y2 O3 ). Dihydroxyacetone (1,3-dihydroxy-2-propanone, DHA) is applied in the food and cosmetic industries as well as in pharmacy and medicine. It is produced as a result of incomplete oxidation of glycerol by acetic acid bacteria Gluconobacter oxydans. This reaction is catalyzed by PQQ-dependent membrane-bound glycerol dehydrogenase. The research developed a method of obtaining DHA by oxidation of a 3?% aqueous solution of glycerol (pH 7.5) at a temperature of 23?°C, with the only reaction biocatalyst being an immobilized cell preparation obtained from G. oxydans cells. After 5?days of the process, DHA concentration in the solution accounted for 27.2?g/L and the reaction efficiency for 94?%. After 4?days of the reaction run in culture media with pH 5.0, at a temperature of 28?°C, free or immobilized cells of G. oxydans produced on average 25?g of DHA/L at the reaction efficiency of 87?%. 相似文献

The behaviours of several cationic polyelectrolytes (chitosan; polyquaternium-4; diethylaminoethyl dextran; polyquaternium-10, and aminoacrylmethacrylate copolymer, Eudragit® E100) at a polarised liquid/liquid interface are analysed and compared in the present paper. Based on the analysis of the voltammetric results, it was possible to determine some of the relationships between polymer structure and the tendency to adsorb at the interface. It was also possible to determine the substitution degree of a polymer comprising a chitosan main chain modified with glycidyltrimethylammonium chloride, and the values obtained are in agreement with those calculated using other methodologies. Finally, we report a comparative study concerning the effect of cationic (chitosan) and anionic (dextran sulphate) polyelectrolytes on the compactness of a phospholipid film. 相似文献

In the diffusion welding (DW) of difficult-to-deform materials (such as composites and intermetallics), the application of intermediate multilayer foils (MF), which have alternating layers of elements that form intermetallics, allows for production of a permanent joint under milder conditions. In this paper, the processes occurring in the joint zone (JZ) during DW of Al–5 wt.%Mg+27 wt.%Al2O3 composite material through the Al/Cu interlayer were studied. It was shown that, while heating of such a foil, phase transformations that are due to the reaction diffusion of elements, run in it. At MF heating under a continuously applied external load, the materials are plastically deformed. It is established that the intensity of foil plastic deformation at a specified load non-monotonically depends on temperature. It is shown that welding temperature is determined by the temperature at which MF can undergo superplastic flow under the impact of applied pressure. A mechanism of formation for a solid-phase joint of high-strength materials through interlayers based on the MF of intermetallic-forming elements is proposed. 相似文献

Pigmentation of murine cardiac tricuspid valve leaflet is associated with melanocyte concentration, which affects its stiffness. Owing to its biological and viscoelastic nature, estimation of the in situ stiffness measurement becomes a challenging task. Therefore, quasi-static and nanodynamic mechanical analysis of the leaflets of the mouse tricuspid valve is performed in the current work. The mechanical properties along the leaflet vary with the degree of pigmentation. Pigmented regions of the valve leaflet that contain melanocytes displayed higher storage modulus (7–10 GPa) than non-pigmented areas (2.5–4 GPa). These results suggest that the presence of melanocytes affects the viscoelastic properties of the mouse atrioventricular valves and are important for their proper functioning in the organism. 相似文献

Stability of emulsions formulated with 10 wt.% oil (concentrated fish oil, CFO, sunflower oil, SFO, or olive oil, OO), sodium caseinate concentrations varying from 0.5 to 5 wt.%, giving oil-to-protein ratios of 20–2, and 0, 20, 30 or 40 wt.% aqueous trehalose solution was studied by Turbiscan. Particle size distribution, microstructure, and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) patterns were also obtained. The main mechanism of destabilization in a given formulation strongly depended on oil-to-protein ratio. As evidenced by the BS-profile changes with time, emulsions formulated with 0.5 and 1 wt.% NaCas destabilized mainly by creaming while for the 2 wt.% NaCas concentration, both creaming and flocculation mechanisms, were involved. The main destabilization mechanism for the 3, 4 or 5 wt.% NaCas emulsions was flocculation. Stability of emulsions was also affected by the content of trehalose in the aqueous phase. Trehalose diminished the volume-weighted mean diameter (D4,3) and greatly improved stability. 相似文献

Zinc selenide layers have been grown on glass/conducting glass substrates using a low temperature (65°C) electrochemical technique, and characterized using X-ray diffractions (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), photoluminescence (PL) and photo electrochemical cell (PEC) techniques. XRD shows that the material growth is highly preferential with (1 1 1) orientation. XPS work indicates that this material has a chemical and stoichiometric nature similar to that grown by molecular beam epitaxy. Annealing at 250°C for 15 min improves the crystallinity of the layers. PL studies indicate the presence of a low number of defect levels which causes radiative transitions within the energy region 0.7–1.4 eV below the conduction band, in the case of electrodeposited ZnSe when compared to MBE grown ZnSe. Optical properties of the thin films were characterized using a PEC cell arrangement and both n- and p-doping of the materials has been achieved successfully using Ga and As, respectively. The use of crystalline ZnSe layers in both simple p-n junctions and multi-layer solar cell structures shows encouraging results. 相似文献
