Penicillium camemberti lipase immobilized on a magnetized poly(styrene-co-divinylbenzene) was used as a biocatalyst for isopropyl palmitate synthesis. The reaction conditions were determined by 22 factorial central composite design. A mathematical model based on a simplified kinetic approach was developed to describe the system and validated with the experimental data. An assay carried out in a stirred-tank reactor confirmed the proposed model. The ester was purified and the properties such as density and water content were similar to those found in commercially available isopropyl palmitate.  相似文献

In this paper, a new synthetic pathway is proposed for the system YIn1-xMnxO3, a bright blue inorganic pigment, discovered in 2009. Blue pigment samples with increasing concentration of Mn3+ (x?=?0.08, 0.12 and 0.16) were prepared using the complex polymerization method (CPM) and compared with those synthesized via solid state reaction. All powders, the amorphous precursor from CPM and the starting materials for solid state method, were calcined at 1000, 1100, 1200 and 1300?°C for 12?h, and the resulting blue pigments were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), colorimetric system CIE L*a*b* and Near infrared (NIR) reflectance measurements. XRD patterns and Rietveld Refinement show that the lowest temperature at which single hexagonal phase (isostructural to YInO3) is formed is 1000?°C for CPM method and 1300?°C for conventional solid state method, respectively. The L*a*b* values demonstrate that the coloration of powders prepared by CPM exhibit temperature dependence below 1300?°C, a color shade shift from grayish blue to intense deep blue is observed when heating the samples from 1000 to 1300?°C. Blue pigments obtained by CPM have smaller particle size due to low temperatures and excellent near-infrared reflectance comparable to those by solid state method. Moisture content and particle size are critical parameters in fluidized-bed granulation and coating. In this study, microcrystalline cellulose was granulated and coated. The particle size was monitored in real time by a Parsum IPP70 probe. The fluidization regime was assessed by Gaussian spectral analysis. The bed temperature and gas humidity profile were monitored to evaluate the drying efficiency. The defluidization phase was detected in the early stages with frequencies below 6.0 Hz. The Parsum probe showed the growth of the particles due to agglomeration. The psychometric parameters indicated the lower potential energy for drying. Therefore, monitoring in real time is important to detect failures.  相似文献

Composite films in coacervation condition offer an alternative to change properties of protein-based films, and they present potential applications such as inclusion, stabilization, and release of bioactive compounds in foods. Maximum interactions between soy protein isolate (SPI) (5%) and high methoxyl pectin (PEC) (0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2%), by zeta potential analysis, are found at a pH of 3. The transparency of the SPI films is lost at this pH. When PEC is added to SPI films, the elasticity, solubility, and permeability to water vapor are not significantly altered, but the tensile strength increases. Permeabilities to oxygen are higher for low PEC contents, but as PEC is added, their values are typical of SPI films produced at a pH of 11. A homogeneous structure is found at the higher PEC concentrations. The interactions of PEC–SPI can be useful to tailor films and coatings for applications such as to carry and protect substances of interest. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. ABSTRACT

We present a finite difference method to solve a system of two Partial-Integro Differential Equations which arise from pricing an option under a Jump-Telegraph Diffusion Model for the underlying asset, considering the risk-neutral valuation formula under an equivalent martingale measure. This system is fully discretized using an Implicit–Explicit two-time level scheme and quadrature formulas. The resulting two tridiagonal algebraic linear systems are solved recursively using the Thomas Algorithm. Some numerical results are presented and the numerical order of convergence for the method is estimated. Finally, the robustness of the method is validated against an exact solution obtained for a perturbed problem.  相似文献

Nanoemulsion-based acai oil was obtained by the phase inversion method using two nonionic surfactants, Ceteareth-20 (Brij™ CS20) and polyoxyethylene-hydrogenated castor oil (Croduret™ 50), with the concentration of each surfactant varying from 7 to 10 %. The formulation with 10 % Brij CS20 presented the best values for droplet size, zeta potential, and polydispersity index (PDI). Ketoconazole was incorporated into this formulation, with an encapsulation efficiency of 98.31 % and equally good zeta potential, droplet size, and PDI, and spherical shape when observed by transmission electron microscopy. Overall, nanoemulsions of acai oil proved to be a good vehicle for imidazole antifungals such as ketoconazole.  相似文献

The periodic assessment of claddings adhesion during the facade life cycle becomes an important preventive in-service issue. This paper discusses the pull-off test, an in-situ diagnosis technique, which characterizes the in-service performance of ceramic tile claddings, by measuring adherence resistance to tension. Adherence is one of the main required properties of external coating, not only for aesthetical reasons but also for safety purposes. Throughout this research, an experimental campaign is performed in laboratory and in-situ, analyzing the variability of the pull-off testing technique. In-situ tests have been undertaken in existing construction sites and test walls. The laboratory results were compared to the in-situ ones. Standards requirements were evaluated and different failure modes were verified. In this work the impact of several parameters is analyzed such as the use of metallic discs with different thickness levels, geometries, and dimensions; the location of the testing at different heights; and the use of different dynamometer equipment. The main conclusion of this work is in order to reduce the uncertainty of the in-service diagnosis used for decision process of facade interventions, the previous parameters should be taking into account despite pull-off being a standardized technique.  相似文献
