This study compared the effect of different adhesive systems and composite resins on the shear bond strength (SBS) of repaired high-viscosity bulk-fill composites(Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill) and investigated failure modes. One hundred twenty cylindrical bulk-fill composite blocks (diameter 5?mm) were fabricated and thermocycled for 5000 cycles (5–55?°C). Specimens were roughened by diamond bur and divided into 8 groups (n?=?15). Bulk-fill blocks were repaired with the same material or nanohybrid composite resin(Tetric EvoCeram Nanohybrid) (diameter 3?mm) using different adhesive systems:Tetric N-Bond Universal (TSE);37% phosphoric acid etching?+?Tetric N-Bond Universal (TER); Clearfil SE Bond (CSE); 37% phosphoric acid etching?+?AdperTMSingle Bond 2(SB). After repair procedures, all specimens were thermocycled again. The shear bond strengths were measured for all specimens using a universal test machine (crosshead speed of 1?mm/min). Cohesive strengths of bulk-fill composites were measured and described as control group. Debonded surfaces were observed with a stereomicroscope under 10x magnification to determine mode of failure. The SBS data of all groups was statistically analyzed by two-way ANOVA and Bonferroni correction test (p?<?0.05). The specimens repaired with bulk-fill composites showed significantly higher SBS values (25.86?±?5.74, 27.05?±?4.93, 24.49?±?6.95MPa) than those with nanohybrid composites (20.41?±?3.70, 22.08?±?6.37, 18.74?±?6.40?MPa) for TER,CSE,SB, respectively (p?<?0.05). There were no significant differences in SBS according to the type of adhesive systems for both repair materials (p?>?0.05). The predominant mode of failure was a mixed type in the restorative material except for the ones repaired with nanohybrid composites using AdperTMSingle Bond 2. High-viscosity bulk-fill composites could be successfully repaired with the same materials. SBS of repaired bulk-fill composites reached cohesive strength for all tested groups. 相似文献

Herein, electro-responsive hydrogels were obtained by incorporation of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT/PSS) into the gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) by using photopolymerization technique. Hydrogels were characterized by FTIR and scanning electron microscopy analyses. Cytotoxicity tests were performed by L929 cell lines to determine cell compatibility. Swelling tests were conducted to investigate the water uptake capacity of hydrogels. 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) was selected as a model drug as it is known as a topical drug for some skin cancer type treatment. The release of 5-FU from the hydrogel was provided in efficient and controlled manner at simulated skin cancer (pH = 5.5) and under 0 and 1.5 V. The simulated drug delivery experiments conducted in vitro revealed that the drug releasing amount was higher when voltage is applied to the hydrogels. All results visualized that the obtained GelMA-based PEDOT/PSS hydrogels with enhanced electrical properties could be a potential candidate as an electrically sensitive drug carrier for treatment of skin cancer in the future applications. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This study reviews gas engine-driven heat pump (GEHP) systems for residential and industrial applications in terms of energetic and exergetic aspects for the first time to the best of the authors’ knowledge. These systems are novel heat pump systems (one of today's promising new technologies). Although the first investigations had been performed at late 1970s, the first merchandized GEHP was produced and introduced in the market in 1985. Gradually, it has become widespread all over the world for various purposes. Main application of GEHPs are for space and water heating/cooling purposes. However, they can be integrated to industrial applications, especially to drying processes.In this study, historical development of GEHP systems was briefly given first. Next, the operation of these systems was described, while studies conducted on them were reviewed and presented in tabulated forms. GEHPs were then modeled for performance evaluation purposes by using energy and exergy analysis methods. Finally, an illustrative example was given, while the results obtained were discussed. In addition, a new project on integration of GEHP systems to food drying processes in Turkey initiated by the authors was introduced. It is expected that this comprehensive study will be very beneficial to everyone involved or interested in the energetic and exergetic design, simulation, analysis and performance of assessment of GEHP systems. 相似文献

This study investigated the hydrothermal transformation of brushite (dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, DCPD, CaHPO4·2H2O) into octacalcium phosphate (OCP, Ca8(HPO4)2(PO4)4·5H2O) in seven different newly developed biomineralization media, all inspired from the commercial DMEM solutions, over the temperature range of 36.5 °C to 90 °C with aging times varying between 1 h and 6 days. DCPD powders used in this study were synthesized in our laboratory by using a wet-chemical technique. DCPD was found to transform into OCP in the Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, HCO3?, Cl? and H2PO4? containing aqueous biomineralization media in less than 72 h at 36.5 °C, without stirring. The same medium was able to convert DCPD into OCP in about 2 h at 75–80 °C, again without a need for stirring. Most of the biological systems including gene regulatory networks can be described well by ordinary differential equation models with rational non‐linearities. These models are derived either based on the reaction kinetics or by curve fitting to experimental data. This study demonstrates the applicability of the root‐locus‐based bifurcation analysis method for studying the complex dynamics of such models. In this study, geochemical behavior of elements is investigated in 25 coal samples collected at 10 locations of ?ahinli coaliferous units at southeast of Ayd?n, Turkey. In all the samples, X-ray powder diffraction and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry analyses were performed and element and mineral compositions were determined. Total organic carbon (TOC) values of coals are between 14.6 and 37.7 wt% with average of 28.5 wt%. Samples are composed of quartz, calcite, feldspar, dolomite, mica, gypsum, and salt minerals which are accompanied by illite-, kaolinite-, and smectite-type clay minerals. Comparison of average element contents of world coals and studied samples yields that K > Fe > As > U > Cs > Y > Er > Al > Th > Rb > Yb > W > Tb > Dy > Lu > Ce > Sm > La > Ho > Si > Nd > Gd > Tm > Eu > Nb > Pr > Pb > Sn > Ni > Cu > Ga > Ta > Sb > Zr > Cd > V > Zn > Co > Mo > P > Hf > Ba are found to be enriched, while Mn > Be > Ca > Sr > Bi > Mg are found to be depleted.
