充分关注水质科学保障饮水安全

从我国饮水安全的现状入手，分析城乡饮水安全存在的问题，强调保障饮水安全是构建和谐社会的必然要求和水利工作的切实要务。从加强监测、科学规划，加强关键技术研究及推广应用，保护水源地、修复水环境，建立合理的体制与机制四个方面提出了做好保障饮水安全工作的建议。

One-to-Many and Many-to-One Optical Chaos Communications Using Semiconductor Lasers

A theoretical construction of one-to-many (OTM) and many-to-one (MTO) chaos synchronization communications using semiconductor lasers is presented. One center laser provides strong injections (strong link) to other side lasers, and the side lasers also provide weak injections (weak link) to the center one. Simulation results show that the side lasers synchronize with the center laser through injection-locking. In addition, messages transmitted via the strong links or the weak links experience strong chaos pass filtering, enabling us to realize OTM and MTO communications.     

Fracture toughness of thermoset composites reinforced by perfectly bonded impenetrable short fibers

The fracture toughness of brittle thermoset resins could be improved significantly by perfectly bonded tough, short fibers through both crack trapping and bridging effects. In this paper, the crack trapping effect was studied through the analysis of the change of strain energy associated with the crack propagation across a regular array of fibers, and the bridging effect was discussed based on the Andersson–Bergkvist model. The fracture resistance increases with the fiber volume fraction, and is independent of the elastic properties of the matrix, the crack length, and the cross-sectional diameter of the fibers.     

Image denoising based on wavelets and multifractals for singularity detection.

This paper presents a very efficient algorithm for image denoising based on wavelets and multifractals for singularity detection. A challenge of image denoising is how to preserve the edges of an image when reducing noise. By modeling the intensity surface of a noisy image as statistically self-similar multifractal processes and taking advantage of the multiresolution analysis with wavelet transform to exploit the local statistical self-similarity at different scales, the pointwise singularity strength value characterizing the local singularity at each scale was calculated. By thresholding the singularity strength, wavelet coefficients at each scale were classified into two categories: the edge-related and regular wavelet coefficients and the irregular coefficients. The irregular coefficients were denoised using an approximate minimum mean-squared error (MMSE) estimation method, while the edge-related and regular wavelet coefficients were smoothed using the fuzzy weighted mean (FWM) filter aiming at preserving the edges and details when reducing noise. Furthermore, to make the FWM-based filtering more efficient for noise reduction at the lowest decomposition level, the MMSE-based filtering was performed as the first pass of denoising followed by performing the FWM-based filtering. Experimental results demonstrated that this algorithm could achieve both good visual quality and high PSNR for the denoised images.     

Vertical Vibration of a Flexible Plate with Rigid Core on Saturated Ground

In this paper, the vertical vibration of a flexible plate with rigid core resting on a semi-infinite saturated soil is studied analytically. The behavior of the soil is assumed to follow Biot’s poroelastodynamic theory with compressible soil skeleton and pore water, and the response of the time-harmonic excited plate is governed by the classical thin-plate theory. By virtue of the Hankel transform technique, the fundamental solutions of the skeleton displacements, stresses, and pore pressure are derived, and a set of dual integral equations associated with the relaxed boundary and completely drained condition at the soil-foundation contact interface are also developed. These governing integral equations are further reduced to the standard Fredholm integral equations of the second kind and solved by numerical procedures. Comparison with existing solutions for a rigid permeable plate on saturated soil confirms the accuracy of the present solution. Selected numerical results are presented to show the influence of the permeability, the size of the rigid core, and the plate flexibility on the dynamic interaction between the elastic plate with rigid core and the underlying saturated soil.

模糊环境的表示及机器人轨迹规划

本文利用模糊集理论，提出一种非确定环境的描述方法，并且针对机器人在该类环境中的避障轨迹规划，建立了相应的决策函数和规划策略，最后，给出在ＰＣ－３８６计算机上的仿真试验结果。     

Two distinct protein-protein interactions between the NIT2 and NMR regulatory proteins are required to establish nitrogen metabolite repression in Neurospora crassa

Unrecognized and untreated depression occurs frequently in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients, adding to the agony already experienced by patient and caregiver. The authors screened AD patients living with a family caregiver for depression. Twelve patients with confirmed depression were treated in an open-label study with antidepressant medication, with dosage adjustment by a psychiatrist at Weeks 2, 4, 8, and 16. Data collection occurred at baseline, Week 4, and Week 16. Depression decreased significantly (p < .01). Contrary to expectations, patient functional capacity declined (p = .045). Cognition remained unchanged (p > .05). Caregiver burden, caregiver depressive symptomatology, and quality of life of patient and caregiver remained unchanged (p > .05). The authors conclude that depression in AD can be detected if a collateral source, such as the caregiver, is available. The depression can and should be treated. More research is needed to determine the impact on patient functioning, caregiver burden, caregiver depressive symptomatology, and quality of life of patient and caregiver.     

消费品说明中警示信息有效性的工效学研究(Ⅰ)——警示信息对消费者危险感受与商品危险性之间关系的影响

该研究采用问卷法，通过对３０种消费品的调查，分析了消费者对消费品说明中警示信息的阅读倾向性，消费者的危险感受、消费者安全使用商品的自信度、遵守警示信息的可能性、主观危险估计和客观危险性这几项因素之间的关系。结果表明：消费者的危险感受与阅读警示信息的倾向性、遵守警告的要求之间存在高度的一致性；且与自信度呈负相关，所以可以通过研究消费者的危险感受来研究警示信息的有效性；消费者的危险感受、主观危险估计常与商品的客观危险性不一致，所以必须采取一些措施来矫正消费者的危险感受，以确保警示信息发挥应有的安全保障作用
