Bismuth titanate (Bi4Ti3O12—BIT) films were evaluated for use as lead-free piezoelectric thin-films in micro-electromechanical systems. The films were grown by the polymeric precursor method on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si (1 0 0) (Pt) bottom electrodes at 700 °C for 2 h in static air and oxygen atmospheres. The domain structure was investigated by piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM). Annealing in static air leads to better ferroelectric properties, higher remanent polarization, lower drive voltages and higher piezoelectric coefficient. On the other hand, oxygen atmosphere favors the imprint phenomenon and reduces the piezoelectric coefficient dramatically. Impedance data, represented by means of Nyquist diagrams, show a dramatic increase in the resistivity for the films annealed in static air atmopshere.  相似文献

Modeling & Simulation (M&S) provides one of the best solutions for personnel and managers training in complex environments. In this article, the authors present an advanced High Level Architecture (HLA) federation of simulators (TRAINPORTS, TRAINing in marine PORTs by using Simulation), that recreates in a three-dimensional virtual environment the most important transshipment terminal of the South Mediterranean area, the Gioia Tauro container terminal. The TRAINPORTS federation includes four different federates (Straddle Carrier, Quay Crane, Forklift and Truck) and offers an advanced tool for marine port operators’ training providing the sensation of being in a real container terminal environment. The TRAINPORTS federation is part of an innovative family of simulators (called ST_VP, Simulation Team Virtual Port). This article presents the TRAINPORTS architecture, describes the federates/federation development process and discusses the simulators operation modes and verification and validation issues.  相似文献

The system Na-feldspar (F) and kaolinite (K) was investigated at temperatures of interest in ceramic applications (1200–1280 °C) to study the effects of F/K ratios by weight and crystallinity degree of kaolinite on the final product, micro-structural features and mullite-glass Gibbs energy of formation (ΔGeff). Mullite and glass are the dominant phases; in general, the higher the temperature, the larger the former. An F/K increase promotes the formation of glass and secondary mullite, appearing along with the primary one. ΔGeff was modelled by α(T) × (F/K)2 + β(T) × F/K + γ(T), α, β and γ being linear functions of temperature whose coefficients were determined by fitting the ΔGeff-theoretical to the ΔGeff-obtained from the measured phase compositions. ΔGeff is less affected by temperature than by F/K, whose increase shifts equilibrium towards glass phases. The ΔGeff-curves for ordered and disordered kaolinite intersect one another at F/K ~0.5, a ratio close to that used in industrial practice.  相似文献

Using the Rietveld method, phases of ceria-doped zirconia, calcined at temperatures of 600 and 900 °C, were quantitatively analysed for different concentrations of ceria. The results show that the stabilization of zirconia depends on the dopant concentration and calcination temperature. Moreover, the theoretical calculation using the ab initio Hartree–Fock–Roothaan method indicates that the most stable phases for ceria-stabilized zirconia are cubic or tetragonal, in accordance with experimental results.  相似文献

The drying curves of halved and deseeded apricots obtained during convective drying at different temperatures (from 50 to 90°C) have been examined, and a diffusional model, solved by a finite elements method, has been proposed to simulate the drying kinetics. The importance of taking into account both the internal and the external resistances to mass transfer when modeling the drying curves is discussed. Due to the geometry of halved apricots as a hemisphere losing water only through the flat section, the mass transfer coefficient (kc) was not correctly estimated through an empirical correlation. Only the identification of this coefficient from the experimental results allowed an accurate simulation, decreasing the mean relative error from 12.3±3.8% when kc was calculated through the Pasternak and Gauvin correlation to 2.9±1.0% when kc was identified.  相似文献

Small‐angle X‐ray scattering was used to characterise aqueous micellar gels of triblock copolymers E137S18E137, E82S9E82, E76S5E76, E62P39E62, and of two mixtures: E137S18E137 and E62P39E62 (Mix 1) and E82S9E82 and E62P39E62 (Mix 2), each 50/50 wt%. E = oxyethylene, CH2CH2O; S = oxyphenylethylene, OCH2CH(C6H5); and P = oxypropylene, OCH2CH(CH3). Within the concentration and temperature ranges investigated (30–40 wt% copolymer, 20–80 °C), spherical micelles of copolymers E137S18E137, E82S9E82 and E62P39E62 packed into body‐centred cubic (BCC) structures. Gels of E76S5E76 were stable only at high concentrations and low temperatures, and a 70 wt% copolymer solution at T = 30 °C formed a hexagonal gel consistent with cylindrical micelles. It is likely that the mixed copolymers would form two distributions of micelles, and more complex structures were expected. However, gels of Mix 2 had well‐ordered BCC structures, while the less ordered gels of Mix 1 were also best characterised as BCC. Copyright © 2006 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

In this paper, a suitable technique as well as an adequate material for the immobilization of the fungus Rhizopus oryzae were investigated. This organism has been shown to have potential in the field of food aroma due to the production of extracellular lipolytic enzymes. However, an efficient production system at bioreactor scale for its application to the flavor compounds production is still needed. Among the supports studied, alginate beads were the best carrier materials, leading to the highest lipolytic activities of up to 400 U/L after 3 days of cultivation. Repeated batch cultures were carried out to improve cell concentration and lipolytic activity. The gel beads produced lipolytic enzyme under optimized conditions for consecutive batch fermentations without marked activity loss and deformation attained a maximum level of 715 U/L after three batches. The production of lipolytic enzyme by immobilized Rhizopus oryzae in a 2‐litre airlift bioreactor with the optimized conditions was evaluated. Lipolytic activities of 487 U/L were attained, operating in successive batches without operational problems and the bioparticles (the fungus grows in alginate beads) maintained their shape throughout fermentation.  相似文献

The SrWO4 (SWO) powders were synthesized by the polymeric precursor method and annealed at different temperatures. The SWO structure was obtained by X-ray diffraction and the corresponding photoluminescence (PL) spectra was measured. The PL results reveal that the structural order–disorder degree in the SWO lattice influences in the PL emission intensity. Only the structurally order–disordered samples present broad and intense PL band in the visible range. To understand the origin of this phenomenon, we performed quantum-mechanical calculations with crystalline and order–disordered SWO periodic models. Their electronic structures were analyzed in terms of band structure. The appearance of localized levels in the band gap of the order–disordered structure was evidenced and is a favorable condition for the intense PL to occur.  相似文献
