In this study, we investigated the activation of p42 extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK2) during renal regeneration after HgCl2-induced acute renal failure (ARF) in rat. ERK2 activation was observed at 5 and 29 hr after HgCl2 injection, respectively. The tyrosine phosphorylation of hepatocyte growth factor receptor (c-MET) occurred between 2.5 and 5 hr after the treatment. On the other hand, the phosphorylation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) was transiently observed at 29 hr after the injection. The peak of ornithine decarboxylase activity as a marker of G1 phase was at 10 hr, and subsequently the labeling index of proliferating cell nuclear antigen as a marker of S phase increased at 53 hr. These results indicate that the repetitive activation of ERK2 related to the phosphorylation of c-MET and EGFR is required for the renal regeneration in HgCl2-induced ARF of rat.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline mesoporous titania was obtained by surfactant-assisted templating method using tetraisopropyl orthotitanate modified with acethylacetone and laurylamine hydrochloride as template. This material was applied for the electrode of dye-sensitized solar cell. The mesoporous TiO2 (MP-TiO2) cells exhibited higher short-circuit photocurrent density and solar energy conversion efficiency compared to P25 (a typical commercial titania powder) cells. The incident photon to current conversion efficiency spectrum of MP-TiO2 can be improved by using the cell made with 5% P25 additive. Double-layer titania cells were fabricated to further improve cell performance by increasing the film thickness and light scattering. The solar conversion efficiency up to 8.06% was obtained by using the double-layer titania cell sintered at 450 °C for 2 h.  相似文献

This paper studies the absolute stability problem of sampled-data systems with a sector nonlinearity. Using the FR-operator technique, a frequency-domain criterion with a Nyquist-like plot is derived. It can be regarded as a sampled-data version of the circle criterion. It is shown that the “absolute-stability gain margin” can be read directly from the plot.  相似文献

A simple procedure for measuring the R -curve properties of ceramics by a stable fracture test in three-point bending is described. As a typical case, data are displayed for a Si3N4 material toughened by the presence of acicular grains in situ grown during the sintering process. The fracture mechanics specimen was a single-edge double-notched beam (SEDNB), whose notch was sharpened to a radius of <10 μm in order to reduce the amount of elastic energy stored at its root prior to crack extension. Furthermore, a stabilizer, specially designed for the bending geometry, was used to control crack stability. During stable extension, the crack could be easily arrested at selected locations of the load-displacement curve, the load quickly released, and the stable crack extension directly measured by the die-penetration technique. The crack resistance, K R, of the material was calculated from the measured crack extent and the onset load value before unloading. This method enabled us to precisely monitor the critical load value at which the load-displacement curve deviated from linear behavior, as well as crack extensions from a few tens of micrometers to about 1 mm. As an application of this method, the fracture resistance of a Si3N4 material with rising R -curve behavior was measured and found to increase from about 5.5 to 9.0 MPaμm1/2 within a 0.8-mm extension.  相似文献

A programmable 8-b digital signal processor core with an instruction cycle time of 20 ns is developed. A 37.5-mm chip is fabricated by advanced 1.0-μm double-level-metal CMOS technology. This processor has a reconfigurable high-speed data path supporting several multiply/accumulate function, including 16-tap linear-phase transversal filtering, high-speed adaptive filtering, and eight-point discrete cosine transformation. To provide high-speed operation within the chip, a programmable phase-locked loop circuit is built on the chip. A nonlinear model for the visual system is proposed in relation to the dependence of receptive field size on luminance. The model is constructed based on the fact that the exponent of Stevens' brightness function varies depending on the target size. The model consists of two stages; the mechanism of spatial summation and the mechanism of 0.5-power in cascade. The mechanism of 0.5-power is responsible for an exponent 0.5 of the brightness function for the point target. The extent of the spatial summation changes depending on the luminance so that the model yields a brightness function with exponent 0.33 for the infinite target of uniform luminance distribution. The model predicts well the signal transfer function of vision, the charactreristics of the suprathreshold spatial summation and the mean luminance dependence of the spatial frequency characteristics for threshold contrast.  相似文献

The kinetics of the membrane current during the anomalous or inward-going rectification of the K current in the egg cell membrane of the starfish Mediaster aequalis were analyzed by voltage clamp. The rectification has instantaneous and time-dependent components. The time-dependent increase in the K conductance for the negative voltage pulse as well as the decrease in the conductance for the positive pulse follows first-order kinetics. The steady-state conductance increases as the membrane potential becomes more negative and reaches the saturation value at about -40 mV more negative than the K equilibrium potential, V(K). The entire K conductance can be expressed by g(K).n; g g(K) represents the component for the time-independent conductance which depends on V-V(K) and [K+]o, and n is a dimensionless number (1 is greater than or equal to n is greater than or equal to 0) and determined by two rate constants which depend only on V-V(K). Cs+ does not carry any significant current through the K channel but blocks the channel at low concentration in the external medium. The blocking effect increases as the membrane potential is made more negative and the potential-dependent blocking by the external Cs+ also has instantaneous and time-dependent components.  相似文献
