The effect of CeO2 loading (1–20 wt.%) on the properties and catalytic behaviors of CeO2–Al2O3-supported Pt catalysts on the partial oxidation of methane was studied. The catalysts were characterized by SBET, X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) and oxygen storage capacity (OSC). XRD and TPR results showed that the pretreatment temperature of the support influences on the amount of CeO2 with fluorite structure. The pretreatment temperature of the support and CeO2 loading influenced the morphology of Pt. OSC analysis showed a significant increase in the oxygen storage capacity per weight of CeO2 for samples with high CeO2 loading (12 and 20 wt.%). TPR analyses showed that the addition of Pt promotes the reduction of CeO2. This effect was more significant for the catalysts with high CeO2 loading (≥12 wt.%). The dispersion of Pt, measured by the rate of cyclohexane dehydrogenation, increases with increasing of the pretreatment temperature of the support. It was shown that the kind of the support is very important for obtaining of catalysts resistant to carbon formation. The catalysts with high CeO2 loading (≥12 wt.%) showed the highest catalytic activity and stability in the reaction of partial oxidation of methane due to a higher Pt–CeO2 interface. 相似文献
Reactor blends of polyethylene/poly(ethylene-co-1-octene) resins with bimodal molecular weight and bimodal short chain branching distributions were synthesized in a two-step polymerization process. The compositions of these blends range from low molecular weight (LMW) homopolymer to high molecular weight (HMW) copolymer and vice versa HMW homopolymer to LMW copolymer. The shear flow characteristics of these polymers in the typical processing range mostly depend on the molecular weight and MWD of the polymer and are independent of the short chain branch content. From oscillatory shear measurements, it was observed that the viscosity of HMW polymers was reduced with the addition of LMW material. For the polymers produced with this two-step polymerization process, the LMW homopolymer and HMW copolymer blends and HMW homopolymer and LMW copolymer blends were melt miscible, despite the large viscosity differences of the pure components. 相似文献
In this paper we detail the key features, architectural design, and implementation of rCUDA, an advanced framework to enable remote and transparent GPGPU acceleration in HPC clusters. rCUDA allows decoupling GPUs from nodes, forming pools of shared accelerators, which brings enhanced flexibility to cluster configurations. This opens the door to configurations with fewer accelerators than nodes, as well as permits a single node to exploit the whole set of GPUs installed in the cluster. In our proposal, CUDA applications can seamlessly interact with any GPU in the cluster, independently of its physical location. Thus, GPUs can be either distributed among compute nodes or concentrated in dedicated GPGPU servers, depending on the cluster administrator’s policy. This proposal leads to savings not only in space but also in energy, acquisition, and maintenance costs. The performance evaluation in this paper with a series of benchmarks and a production application clearly demonstrates the viability of this proposal. Concretely, experiments with the matrix–matrix product reveal excellent performance compared with regular executions on the local GPU; on a much more complex application, the GPU-accelerated LAMMPS, we attain up to 11x speedup employing 8 remote accelerators from a single node with respect to a 12-core CPU-only execution. GPGPU service interaction in compute nodes, remote acceleration in dedicated GPGPU servers, and data transfer performance of similar GPU virtualization frameworks are also evaluated. 相似文献
This paper proposes FMAP (Forward Multi-Agent Planning), a fully-distributed multi-agent planning method that integrates planning and coordination. Although FMAP is specifically aimed at solving problems that require cooperation among agents, the flexibility of the domain-independent planning model allows FMAP to tackle multi-agent planning tasks of any type. In FMAP, agents jointly explore the plan space by building up refinement plans through a complete and flexible forward-chaining partial-order planner. The search is guided by hDTG, a novel heuristic function that is based on the concepts of Domain Transition Graph and frontier state and is optimized to evaluate plans in distributed environments. Agents in FMAP apply an advanced privacy model that allows them to adequately keep private information while communicating only the data of the refinement plans that is relevant to each of the participating agents. Experimental results show that FMAP is a general-purpose approach that efficiently solves tightly-coupled domains that have specialized agents and cooperative goals as well as loosely-coupled problems. Specifically, the empirical evaluation shows that FMAP outperforms current MAP systems at solving complex planning tasks that are adapted from the International Planning Competition benchmarks. 相似文献
Transient receptor potential ankyrin member 1 (TRPA1) belongs to the family of thermo TRP cation channels that detect harmful temperatures, acids and numerous chemical pollutants. TRPA1 is expressed in nervous tissue, where it participates in the genesis of nociceptive signals in response to noxious stimuli and mediates mechanical hyperalgesia and allodynia associated with different neuropathies. The glutamate N-methyl-d-aspartate receptor (NMDAR), which plays a relevant role in allodynia to mechanical stimuli, is connected via histidine triad nucleotide-binding protein 1 (HINT1) and type 1 sigma receptor (σ1R) to mu-opioid receptors (MORs), which mediate the most potent pain relief. Notably, neuropathic pain causes a reduction in MOR antinociceptive efficacy, which can be reversed by blocking spinal NMDARs and TRPA1 channels. Thus, we studied whether TRPA1 channels form complexes with MORs and NMDARs that may be implicated in the aforementioned nociceptive signals. Our data suggest that TRPA1 channels functionally associate with MORs, delta opioid receptors and NMDARs in the dorsal root ganglia, the spinal cord and brain areas. These associations were altered in response to pharmacological interventions and the induction of inflammatory and also neuropathic pain. The MOR-TRPA1 and NMDAR-TRPA1 associations do not require HINT1 or σ1R but appear to be mediated by calcium-activated calmodulin. Thus, TRPA1 channels may associate with NMDARs to promote ascending acute and chronic pain signals and to control MOR antinociception. 相似文献
The adsorption of cobalt phthalocyanine dye onto activated carbon in a continuous stirred tank adsorber was studied. The variables investigated were: adsorbent mass, adsorbent particle size and fluid flowrate. Several models based on film, pore and surface diffusion were constructed and fitted to the experimental data. Experimental results showed: (i) the increasing importance of the film mass transfer resistance for increasing adsorbent loads; (ii) the increasing importance of the surface diffusion mechanism for increasing adsorbent loads; and (iii) the better discrimination among different models for higher adsorbent loads and lower flowrate. 相似文献
Summary: The cold crystallization process of initially amorphous poly(L ‐lactic acid), PLLA, with two different molecular weights, during a heating at 2 °C/min, was investigated by DSC and time‐resolved simultaneous SAXS and WAXS, using synchrotron radiation. Equatorial scans of the isotropic 2D‐SAXS patterns showed that the average Bragg long period (LB) of PLLA samples was approximately constant with the development of cold crystallization up to a temperature that corresponded to a melt/re‐crystallization process that took place before the nominal melting peak seen by DSC. LB values were found to be higher for the high molecular weight material. This was in accordance with the higher melting temperature observed in the high molecular weight PLLA that implied the existence of thicker lamellae. WAXS results showed that the molecular weight did not apparently affect the crystal form and the final degree of crystallinity of PLLA. The Avrami parameters from WAXS and DSC were consistent, showing that the non‐isothermal cold crystallization of the two PLLA samples corresponded mainly to a three‐dimensional growth, although an imperfect crystallization process was involved at early times. The crystallization rate of PLLA, observed both by WAXS and DSC, decreased with increasing molecular weight.

Summary In this article, cellulose acetate produced through the homogeneous acetylation of sugar cane bagasse cellulose was used to
produce membranes, using poly(ethyleneglycol) 600 (PEG 600) as an admixture. The membranes were characterized using water
flux measurements (Payne’s cup), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and neutral red uptake (cytotoxicity). The results
showed that PEG 600 acts as a crystallinity inductor and/or pore former in the cellulose acetate matrix. The induction of
crystallinity is important for this system since it had not been reported on the literature yet. The results also demonstrated
that the studied membranes present a nontoxic behavior. 相似文献
Reactor blends of polyethylene/poly(ethylene-co-1-octene) resins with bimodal molecular weight and bimodal short chain branching distributions were synthesized in a two-step polymerization process. The compositions of these blends range from low molecular weight (LMW) homopolymer to high molecular weight (HMW) copolymer and, vice versa, HMW homopolymer to LMW copolymer. The physical properties of the blends were found to be consistent with the nature of the individual components. For the tensile properties, the stiffness decreases with increasing the fraction of the copolymer, regardless of the molecular weight of the homopolymer fraction. For these blends with bimodal microstructures, it was confirmed that the degree of crystallinity governs the stiffness of the polymer. However, the energy dampening properties of the polymers benefit from the presence of the copolymer. A balance of stiffness and toughness can be obtained by altering the composition of the blends. For some blends, the presence of HMW homopolymer can dominate the tensile properties, showing little variation in the stiffness with increased addition of copolymer. It was also demonstrated that the testing conditions and thermal treatment of the polymer greatly influence the resulting elastic and energy dampening properties. Depending on the desired application, annealing these polymers (especially very low density copolymers) not only increases the crystallinity and stiffness, but also changes the frequency response of the dynamic mechanical properties. 相似文献
Impurity poisoning of a catalyst particle having a non-uniform activity distribution is analyzed. Equations that relate the position of the poison-front with time for different activity profiles are derived. It is shown that the effect of the activity distribution on the poisoning rate is apparent in the case of intraparticle-diffusion control. The performance of a non-uniform bifunctional catalyst in such conditions is also studied. 相似文献
