The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of polyelectrolyte multilayers on to a porous supporting membrane is able to create various new composite membranes. However, the low efficiency and long time required for such procedures limit practical applications. In this study, an automatic spray system has been constructed for the rapid assembly of polyelectrolyte multilayers on to nanoporous supporting membranes. The compounds polyacrylic acid and poly(ethyleneimine), used as a model polyelectrolyte pair, were alternately sprayed on to a polyacrylonitrile ultrafiltration membrane. Experiments proved that the composite membrane obtained in this way had a good pervaporation dehydration performance. In addition, the process times were dramatically decreased, by as much as 80 folds, when compared with classical dip‐LbL methods. Such an automated system can easily be converted to the assembly of various organic species. Therefore, it is a versatile and highly efficient system for manufacturing composite multilayer membranes for many separation applications. © 2012 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 59: 250–257, 2013  相似文献

Beyond its role in innate immune responses, Akirin has recently been shown to play an important role in skeletal myogenesis. Negative-charged polystyrene (PS) microspheres were prepared through a soap-free emulsion polymerization method using potassium persulfate as initiator. Three-dimensionally ordered macroporous TiO2 films were fabricated using the high-quality PS colloidal crystals templates obtained via a horizontal deposition method. The as-prepared macroporous TiO2 films were applied as the photoanodes in dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). The microstructure of the products were characterized by X-ray diffractometer, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption–desorption analyzer. The results showed that the macroporous TiO2 films replicated well the 3D ordered structure derived from PS colloidal crystal templates and revealed a relatively large specific surface area (69.99 m2/g), which could increase the capacity of TiO2 film anode for absorbing dyes and scattering light. The photocurrent–voltage (IV) characteristics of DSSC were measured by a digital source meter under simulated solar light. The results indicated that the introduction of an ordered macroporous TiO2 interfacial layer increased the photovoltaic conversion efficiency, which was improved by 68 % from 3.61 to 6.08 %, as compared to a device using a bare P25 TiO2 photoanode. Our results showed that the hierarchically ordered macroporous TiO2 bilayer films photoanode for DSSC could be helpful to improve the photovoltaic conversion efficiency.  相似文献

以生产钛白粉的废弃物和铝矾土熟料为主要原料,合成了聚合双酸铝铁(PAFCS)絮凝剂,并将PAFCS用于APMP制浆废水的混凝处理,以正交试验分析,确定了优化的混凝条件。结果表明,在优化混凝条件下,水样COD和色度的去除率高达97.4%和97.5%。与PFS和PAC相比,PAFCS混凝处理效果最好,且成本低廉。  相似文献

A system of novel nanoparticles of star-shaped cholic acid-core polylactide-d-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (CA-PLA-TPGS) block copolymer was developed for paclitaxel delivery for breast cancer treatment, which demonstrated superior in vitro and in vivo performance in comparison with paclitaxel-loaded poly(d,l-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles and linear PLA-TPGS nanoparticles. The paclitaxel- or couramin 6-loaded nanoparticles were fabricated by a modified nanoprecipitation method and then characterized in terms of size, surface charge, surface morphology, drug encapsulation efficiency, and in vitro drug release. The CA-PLA-TPGS nanoparticles were found to be spherical in shape with an average size of around 120 nm. The nanoparticles were found to be stable, showing no change in the particle size and surface charge during 90-day storage of the aqueous solution. The release profiles of the paclitaxel-loaded nanoparticles exhibited typically biphasic release patterns. The results also showed that the CA-PLA-TPGS nanoparticles have higher antitumor efficacy than the PLA-TPGS nanoparticles and PLGA nanoparticles in vitro and in vivo. In conclusion, such nanoparticles of star-shaped cholic acid-core PLA-TPGS block copolymer could be considered as a potentially promising and effective strategy for breast cancer treatment.  相似文献
