Conformational engineering is essential to further reinforce the luminescent properties of thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials featuring through-space charge transfer (TSCT) characteristics. Herein, two TSCT-TADF emitters (8MeDM-B and 8FDM-B) with the methyl and fluorine moieties substituted at the C8 site of the rigid spiro-fluorene bridge is reported. Derivation of the C8 site is first proposed to control the molecular configuration with the ability to indirectly tune the intramolecular interaction between donor and acceptor groups. As a result, 8MeDM-B and 8FDM-B both present small singlet-triplet energy gaps, fast reverse intersystem crossing rates, and high photoluminescence quantum yields. Interestingly, the smaller fluorine atom not the bigger methyl group exhibits more evident electrostatic repulsive force onto the central donor and thus rectifies the central spiro structure. Consequently, the high external quantum efficiency values of 28.8% and 31.7% for 8MeDM-B and 8FDM-B-based electroluminescence devices are achieved, respectively. In conventional digital communication systems, the quality of the received signal does not improve beyond a certain level as the channel quality increases. Such kind of quality saturation effect is caused by the unrecoverable quantization errors produced by source coding. The Hybrid Digital-Analog (HDA) transmission, where the quantization errors are transmitted in an analog mode along with the quantized data in a digital mode, has been recognized as an effective technique to combat the quality saturation effect. In this paper, we introduce HDA transmission in Wireless Relay Networks (WRNs) over Rayleigh slow-fading channels to eliminate the quality saturation effect and achieve graceful improvement for the better channel quality. Our goal is to minimize the end-to-end distortion by optimal power allocation. We note that digital-analog power allocation involved in HDA transmission is coupled with source-relay power allocation in WRNs. Therefore, the joint power allocation problem should be considered. We investigate this problem for two kinds of relays in WRNs, i.e., Amplify-and-Forward (AF) relays and Decode-and-Forward (DF) relays. In the case of AF relays, we find that the joint power problem is concave and thus derive the explicit expressions of the optimal solution. In the case of DF relays, we formulate the joint power allocation problem as a nonlinear fractional programming problem and then propose an efficient algorithm to search the optimal solution. Simulation results show that the proposed joint power allocation schemes outperform existing schemes in terms of end-to-end distortion in both WRNs with AF relays and that with DF relays under various channel conditions. 相似文献

A roll‐to‐roll (R2R) transfer technique is employed to improve the electrical properties of transferred graphene on flexible substrates using parylene as an interfacial layer. A layer of parylene is deposited on graphene/copper (Cu) foils grown by chemical vapor deposition and are laminated onto ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)/poly(ethylene terephthalate). Then, the samples are delaminated from the Cu using an electrochemical transfer process, resulting in flexible and conductive substrates with sheet resistances of below 300 Ω sq?1, which is significantly better (fourfold) than the sample transferred by R2R without parylene (1200 Ω sq?1). The characterization results indicate that parylene C and D dope graphene due to the presence of chlorine atoms in their structure, resulting in higher carrier density and thus lower sheet resistance. Density functional theory calculations reveal that the binding energy between parylene and graphene is stronger than that of EVA and graphene, which may lead to less tear in graphene during the R2R transfer. Finally, organic solar cells are fabricated on the ultrathin and flexible parylene/graphene substrates and an ultra‐lightweight device is achieved with a power conversion efficiency of 5.86%.
