Unlicensed ISM band is used by various wireless technologies. Therefore, issues related to ensuring the required efficiency and quality of operation of coexisting networks become essential. The paper addresses the problem of mutual interferences between IEEE 802.11b transmitters (commercially named Wi-Fi) and Bluetooth (BT) devices. An optimization approach to modeling the topology of BT scatternets is introduced, resulting in more efficient utilization of ISM environment consisting of BT and Wi-Fi networks. To achieve it, the Integer Linear Programming approach has been proposed. Example results presented in the paper illustrate significant benefits of using the proposed modeling strategy.  相似文献

The Rubidium saturated absorption spectra for D2 transition lines are used to measure the Fabry-Perot interferometer free spectral range (FSR). The scale linearity of the laser frequency tuning is determined. The Sagnac interferometer has been used for the laser stabilization. The result shows that the laser frequency is stabilized upto sub-mega Herz level. Also the hyperfine structure [5(2)S(1/2) F = 3 --> F' = 2, 3, 4 5(2)P(3/2) 85Rb] of the rubidium atom has been measured by using the tilt locking method, which shows the same result as the conventional saturation spectroscopy.  相似文献

Structural and optical properties of InGaN/GaN multiple triangular quantum well (QW) structures with different threading dislocation (TD) densities of 1.5×108 (sample A) and 4.5×108 cm-2 (sample B) have been studied. High resolution transmission electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction analysis showed more fluctuation of local In composition in the sample B, which was attributed to the stress field created by the dislocations as it provides a driving force for the migration of In atoms towards dislocations. Severe degradation of photoluminescence intensity of the sample B was also observed at < 50 K. The optical and structural properties of the InGaN/GaN triangular QW structures are overall substantially affected by the TD density. Amidoximated chitosan‐g‐poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN) copolymer was prepared by a reaction between hydroxylamine and cyano group in chitosan‐g‐PAN copolymer prepared by grafting PAN onto crosslinked chitosan with epychlorohydrine. The adsorption and desorption capacities for heavy metal ions were measured under various conditions. The adsorption capacity of amidoximated chitosan‐g‐PAN copolymer increased with increasing pH values, and was increased for Cu2+ and Pb2+ but a little decreased for Zn2+ and Cd2+ with increasing PAN grafting percentage in amidoximated chitosan‐g‐PAN copolymer. In addition, desorption capacity for all metal ions was increased with increasing pH values in contrast to the adsorption results. Stability constants of amidoximated chitosan‐g‐PAN copolymer were higher for Cu2+ and Pb2+ but lower for Zn2+ and Cd2+ than those of crosslinked chitosan. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The effects of internal air-pressing on deep drawability are investigated in this study to increase the deep drawability of aluminum sheet. The conventional deep drawing process is limited to a certain limit drawing ratio(LDR) beyong which failure will occur. The intention of this work is to examine the possibilities of relaxing the above limitation through the deep drawing with internal air-pressing, aiming towards a process with an increased drawing ratio. The idea which may lead to this goal is the use of special punch that can exert high pressure on the internal surface of deforming sheet during the deep drawing process. Over the ranges of conditions investigated for Al-1050, the local strain concentration at punch nose radius area was decreased by internal air-pressing of punch, and the deep drawing with internal air-pressing was proved to be very effective process for obtaining higher LDR.  相似文献

Watershed transformation is an effective segmentation algorithm that originates from the mathematical morphology field. This algorithm is widely used in medical image segmentation because it produces complete division even under poor contrast. However, over‐segmentation is its most significant limitation. Therefore, this article proposes a combination of watershed transformation and the expectation‐maximization (EM) algorithm to segment MR brain images efficiently. The EM algorithm is used to form clusters. Then, the brightest cluster is considered and converted into a binary image. A Sobel operator applied on the binary image generates the initial gradient image. Morphological reconstruction is applied to find the foreground and background markers. The final gradient image is obtained using the minima imposition technique on the initial gradient magnitude along with markers. In addition, watershed segmentation applied on the final gradient magnitude generates effective gray matter and cerebrospinal fluid segmentation. The results are compared with simple marker controlled watershed segmentation, watershed segmentation combined with Otsu multilevel thresholding, and local binary fitting energy model for validation. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We investigate dissociative electron attachment to 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) employing a crossed electron-molecular beam experiment and quantum chemical calculations. Upon the formation of the 5-FU anion, 12 different fragmentation products are observed, the most probable dissociation channel being H loss. The parent anion, 5-FU, is not stable on the experimental timescale (~140 µs), most probably due to the low electron affinity of FU; simple HF loss and F formation are seen only with a rather weak abundance. The initial dynamics upon electron attachment seems to be governed by hydrogen atom pre-dissociation followed by either its full dissociation or roaming in the vicinity of the molecule, recombining eventually into the HF molecule. When the HF molecule is formed, the released energy might be used for various ring cleavage reactions. Our results show that higher yields of the fluorine anion are most probably prevented through both faster dissociation of an H atom and recombination of F with a proton to form HF. Resonance calculations indicate that F is formed upon shape as well as core-excited resonances.  相似文献

Previously, we demonstrated the expression of apelin and G-protein-coupled receptor APJ in human placenta cell lines as well as its direct action on placenta cell proliferation and endocrinology. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of apelin on placenta apoptosis in BeWo cells and villous explants from the human third trimester of pregnancy. The BeWo cells and villous explants were incubated with apelin (2 and 20 ng/mL) alone or with staurosporine for 24 to 72 h. First, we analysed the dose- and time-dependent effect of apelin on the expression of apoptotic factors on the mRNA level by real-time PCR and on the protein level using Western blot. Next, we checked caspase 3 and 7 activity by Caspase-Glo 3/7, DNA fragmentation by the Cell Death Detection ELISA kit and oxygen consumption by the MitoXpress-Xtra Oxygen Consumption assay. We found that apelin increased the expression of pro-survival and decreased proapoptotic factors on mRNA and protein levels in both BeWo cells and villous explants. Additionally, apelin inhibited caspase 3 and 7 activity and DNA fragmentation in staurosporine-induced apoptosis as also attenuated oxidative stress by increasing extracellular oxygen consumption. The antiapoptotic effect of apelin in BeWo cells was mediated by the APJ receptor and mitogen-activated protein kinase (ERK1/2/MAP3/1) and protein kinase B (AKT). The obtained results showed the antiapoptotic effect of apelin on trophoblast cells, suggesting its participation in the development of the placenta.  相似文献
