A model was developed to estimate the energy transfer from milling media to the powder during milling carried out in Simoloyer CM 01 (Zoz GmbH, Wenden, Germany), a horizontal attritor high-energy ball mill. The model was then used to estimate the energy transfer in milling of iron at 1000 rpm. Furthermore, the time required to achieve a particular grain size was formulated as a function of milling speed, using the model developed for the energy transfer. The results were verified at 500 rpm and 1500 rpm for iron and aluminum.  相似文献

In this study, the overall performance of a biofilter was evaluated in terms of its elimination capacity by using 3-D mesh techniques. The overall results indicate that the agreement between experimental data and model predictions is excellent for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and o-xylene (BTEX). In this study, the maximum removal rate (r max) values for BTEX were 0.0117, 0.0126, 0.0081 and 0.0146 g m–3 h–1, and the half-saturation constant (KS ) values were calculated to be 0.269, 0.297, 0.156 and 0.394 g m–3, respectively. For this system, the coefficients of determination (r 2) of BTEX compounds were greater than 0.97. The BTEX concentration profiles along the depth were also determined using a convection–diffusion reactor (CDR) model. The sums of squares of the errors (SSEs) of BTEX were 0.0078, 0.0059, 0.0129 and 0.0269, respectively, with r 2 values greater than 0.99 for all four compounds at low concentrations.  相似文献

The present paper proposes a novel concept which can successfully reduce threshold voltage and increase switching speed of a conventional MOSFET. The proposed structures have been incorporated with a silicon germanium (SiGe) layer as a channel at the 22 nm technology node. Also, extensive analyses have been done to study the effects of replacing conventional polysilicon by graded dopent profile polysilicon, use of a high-k/silicon dioxide stack as a dielectric with graded dopent profile polysilicon and by using a high-k/silicon dioxide stack as a dielectric with a metal gate. Hafnium dioxide is used as a high-k material. Silvaco Athena and Atlas simulators are used for simulation as well as for finding electrical characteristics of the structures. For all the proposed structures two important parameters are studied in detail, threshold voltage and subthreshold slope. Comparing the three structures, it can be seen that using the high-k/silicon dioxide stack as a dielectric with a metal gate yields the best threshold voltage as well as good subthreshold slope which is directly related to the switching behaviour of the device. The required fabrication aspects of the modelled structures are also elaborated in detail.  相似文献

Dense nanocrystalline barium strontium titanate Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 (BST) ceramics with an average grain size around 40 nm and very small dispersion were obtained by spark plasma sintering at 950°C and 1050°C starting from nonagglomerated nanopowders (~20 nm). The powders were synthesized by a modified “Organosol” process. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and dielectric measurements in the temperature range 173–313 K were used to investigate the evolution of crystal structure and the ferroelectric to paraelectric phase transformation behavior for the sintered BST ceramics with different grain sizes. The Curie temperature TC decreases, whereas the phase transition becomes diffuse for the particle size decreasing from about 190 to 40 nm with matching XRD and permittivity data. Even the ceramics with an average grain size as small as 40 nm show the transition into the ferroelectric state. The dielectric permittivity ε shows relatively good thermal stability over a wide temperature range. The dielectric losses are smaller than 2%–4% in the frequency range of 100 Hz–1 MHz and temperature interval 160–320 K. A decrease in the dielectric permittivity in nanocrystalline ceramics was observed compared to submicrometer‐sized ceramics.  相似文献

The fate of [1-14C] linoleic acid and [1-14C] linolenic acid in the liver slices and also in the liver tissues of live carnivorous catfish,Heteropneustes fossilis andClarias batrachus, was studied. Incorporation of the fatty acids into different lipid classes in the live fish differed greatly from the tissue slices, indicating certain physiological control operative in vivo. The extent of desaturation and chain elongation of linoleic and linolenic acids into long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids was low. Linolenic acid was oxidized (thus labeling the saturated fatty acid with liberated14C-acetyl-CoA) in preference to linoleic acid, and this oxidation also seemed to be under physiological control since both of the fatty acids were poorly oxidized in the tissue slices and in the killed fish. These fish can therefore recognize the difference in the acyl chain structures of linoleate and linolenate. The higher oxidation of liolenic acid and poor capacity for its conversion to longer chain, highly unsaturated derivatives indicates a higher demand for the dietary supply of these essential fatty acids in these two species.  相似文献

The emulsion copolymerization of ethylene with butyl methacrylate (BMA) was carried out in an aqueous medium at 60 °C under moderate reaction conditions. The polymer system is well controlled with a linear increase in the molecular weight (Mn) versus ethylene feed pressure and narrow molecular weight distributions (>1.36) were observed throughout the copolymerization reaction. The spectroscopic analyses confirm the presence of acrylate functional as well as methylene group in the synthesized poly(ethylene-co-BMA) copolymer. Morphological behavior of poly(ethylene-co-BMA) has been studied using SEM and TEM analyses. Thermal stability of the copolymers was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis and it was observed that the copolymer is stable up to 380 °C. X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the amorphous behavior of poly(ethylene-co-BMA). Dynamic light scattering measurement confirms the formation of poly(ethylene-co-BMA) nanoparticles. The particle size of copolymer nanoparticles were in the range of 85–108 nm with low polydispersity indexes (>0.2). The viscous and the elastic property of the copolymer were investigated and established that at high temperature elastic behavior predominant over viscous effect. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Energy yield simulations of interconnected solar PV arrays   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
In this paper, the electrical characteristics of array interconnection schemes are investigated using simulation models to find a configuration that is comparatively less susceptible to shadow problem and power degradation resulting from the aging of solar cells. Three configurations have been selected for comparison: (i) simple series-parallel (SP) array which has zero interconnection redundancy; (ii) total-cross-tied (TCT) array which is obtained from the simple SP array by connecting ties across each row of junctions; it may be characterized as the scheme with the highest possible redundancy; and (iii) bridge-linked (BL) array in which all cells are interconnected in bridge rectifier fashion. The explicit computer simulations for the energy yield and current-voltage distributions in the array are presented, which seem to favor cross-tied configurations (TCT and BL) in coping with the effects of mismatch losses.  相似文献
