This paper deals with the stochastic placement and sizing of the distribution static compensator in the distribution systems considering uncertainty. The proposed stochastic framework utilises the point estimate method to consider the forecasting uncertainty of the active and reactive loads in the load flow equations. The objective functions to be investigated are total active power losses and the voltage profile simultaneously. In order to reach a proper compromise to satisfy all the objective functions, an interactive fuzzy satisfying approach is employed. Also, since the problem investigated is a type of discrete, nonlinear, multi-objective optimisation problem, a new modified optimisation technique is proposed to escape from the local optima as well as the premature convergence. Finally, the satisfying performance of the proposed method is examined on the 86-bus IEEE distribution system.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the different algorithmic and game-theoretic features of scheduling. We apply concepts of cooperative game theory to study states in which a set of brokers encounters ultra combinative costs. These states appear in a diversity of scheduling factors, such as facility location and network design. Although cooperation is improbable when costs are ultra combinative, the motivation to avoid cooperation may lead to an increase in negative externalities. We study the smallest core value of a cooperative game as a means of persuading cooperation. We prove that calculating the smallest core value of ultra combinative cost cooperative games is strongly NP-hard, and we design an approximation structure for this problem that in the margin produces a (3?+?σ)-estimation algorithm. We also apply our approximation structure to get better results for two cases of ultra combinative cost cooperative games that derive from scheduling and matroid optimization.  相似文献

Uncertainty of cost items is an important aspect of complex projects. Cost uncertainty analysis aims to help decision makers to understand and model different factors affecting funding exposure and ultimately estimate the cost of project. The common practice in cost uncertainty analysis includes breaking the project into cost items and probabilistically capturing the uncertainty of each item. Dependencies between these items are important and if not considered properly may influence the accuracy of cost estimation. However these dependencies are seldom examined and there are theoretical and practical obstacles in modeling them.  相似文献

A stabilized version of the finite point method (FPM) is presented. A source of instability due to the evaluation of the base function using a least square procedure is discussed. A suitable mapping is proposed and employed to eliminate the ill‐conditioning effect due to directional arrangement of the points. A step by step algorithm is given for finding the local rotated axes and the dimensions of the cloud using local average spacing and inertia moments of the points distribution. It is shown that the conventional version of FPM may lead to wrong results when the proposed mapping algorithm is not used. It is shown that another source for instability and non‐monotonic convergence rate in collocation methods lies in the treatment of Neumann boundary conditions. Unlike the conventional FPM, in this work the Neumann boundary conditions and the equilibrium equations appear simultaneously in a weight equation similar to that of weighted residual methods. The stabilization procedure may be considered as an interpretation of the finite calculus (FIC) method. The main difference between the two stabilization procedures lies in choosing the characteristic length in FIC and the weight of the boundary residual in the proposed method. The new approach also provides a unique definition for the sign of the stabilization terms. The reasons for using stabilization terms only at the boundaries is discussed and the two methods are compared. A three-stage bandpass sigma-delta (ΣΔ) analog-to-digital converter has been designed specifically for operation at low oversampling ratios. In the proposed architecture, the center frequency of the third stage is shifted slightly from that of the first two stages to achieve more efficient noise shaping across the signal band. An experimental modulator based on the proposed topology has been integrated in a 0.25-μm CMOS technology and achieves a dynamic range of 75 dB with a maximum signal-to-noise-plus-distortion ratio (SNDR) of 70 dB when digitizing a 2-MHz signal band centered at 16 MHz. This circuit implements an fs/4 bandpass architecture and thus operates at 64-MHz clock rate. It dissipates 110 mW from a 2.5-V supply, and its active area is 4 mm2  相似文献

A simple procedure was developed to prepare a glassy carbon (GC) electrode modified with nickel oxide (NiOx) nanoparticles and water-soluble dyes. By immersing the GC/NiOx modified electrode into thionine (TH) or celestine blue (CB) solutions for a short period of time (5–120 s), a thin film of the proposed molecules was immobilized onto the electrode surface. The modified electrodes showed stable and a well-defined redox couples at a wide pH range (2–12), with surface confined characteristics. In comparison to usual methods for the immobilization of dye molecules, such as electropolymerization or adsorption on the surface of preanodized electrodes, the electrochemical reversibility and stability of these modified electrodes have been improved. The surface coverage and heterogeneous electron transfer rate constants (ks) of thionin and celestin blue immobilized on a NiOx-GC electrode were approximately 3.5 × 10−10 mol cm−2, 6.12 s−1, 5.9 × 10−10 mol cm−2 and 6.58 s−1, respectively. The results clearly show the high loading ability of the NiOx nanoparticles and great facilitation of the electron transfer between the immobilized TH, CB and NiOx nanoparticles. The modified electrodes show excellent electrocatalytic activity toward hydrogen peroxide reduction at a reduced overpotential. The catalytic rate constants for hydrogen peroxide reduction at GC/NiOx/CB and GC/NiOx/TH were 7.96 (±0.2) × 103 M−1 s−1 and 5.5 (±0.2) × 103 M−1 s−1, respectively. The detection limit, sensitivity and linear concentration range for hydrogen peroxide detection were 1.67 μM, 4.14 nA μM−1 nA μM−1 and 5 μM to 20 mM, and 0.36 μM, 7.62 nA μM−1, and 1 μM to 10 mM for the GC/NiOx/TH and GC/NiOx/CB modified electrodes, respectively. Compared to other modified electrodes, these modified electrodes have many advantages, such as remarkable catalytic activity, good reproducibility, simple preparation procedures and long-term stabilities of signal responses during hydrogen peroxide reduction.  相似文献

In this paper, the exergetic performance of a continuous bioreactor for ethanol and acetate synthesis from syngas via a strictly anaerobic autotrophic bacterium Clostridium ljungdahlii was carried out for the first time. The fermentation process was evaluated using both conventional exergy and eco-exergy principles for measuring the productivity and renewability of the process at various liquid media flow rates. The microorganisms successfully upgraded the syngas into invaluable ethanol and acetate through the Wood–Ljungdahl pathway. The exergy efficiency was found to be in the range of 6.5–77.5 and 6.8–77.5 % during the fermentation using conventional exergy and eco-exergy concepts, respectively. The subtle differences observed in the exergetic parameters using the two exergetic concepts were ascribed to the slow growth rate of the microorganisms. Nevertheless, the eco-exergy concept would strongly be recommended for commercial bioreactor containing living organisms due to the inclusion of the information carried by microorganisms in the exergetic calculation. A desired liquid media flow rate of 0.55 mL/min was found according to a newly defined thermodynamic indictor namely exergetic productivity index. More specifically, the maximum exergetic productivity index of the fermentation process was found to be 8.0 using both approaches when the rate of inflow liquid was adjusted at the optimal value. The results of this study revealed that process yield alone cannot be a reliable performance metric for decision making on the productivity of various biofuel production pathways. Finally, the proposed exergetic framework could assist engineers and researchers to link biochemical and physical knowledge more robustly and to quantify and elucidate the general purpose of productivity and renewability.  相似文献
