Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) systems have gained increasing popularity in the forestry domain and are today widely used for the automatic measurement of forest inventory attributes. Nevertheless, to the best of our knowledge the problem of tree species recognition from TLS data has received very little attention from the scientific community. It is in this context that we present a novel Computer-Aided Tree Species Identification method based on 3D bark texture analysis. The novelty of our approach resides in the following three key points: (1) 3D salient regions extraction using a new morphological segmentation method that we have called Burst Wind Segmentation, (2) the extraction and pre-annotation of a collection of typical 3D bark patterns, known as scars, from each of the tree species. The pre-annotated scars are stored in a dictionary that we have called ScarBook and they are used as a reference for the comparison of the 3D salient segmented regions, (3) a wide variety of advanced shape, saliency, curvature and roughness features are extracted from the 3D salient segmented regions. To study the performance of our method, an experiment has been carried out on a dataset composed of 969 patches which correspond to 30 cm long segments of the trunk at breast height. Six species among the most dominant species in European forests have been tested with patches of different diameter at breast height values so as to study the identification accuracy with respect to age. The results obtained are very encouraging and promising and they confirm the possibility of identifying tree species using TLS data.  相似文献

Internet of Things is a promising paradigm that provides the future network of interconnected devices. Device‐to‐Device (D2D) communication, which is considered as an enabler for vehicle‐to‐everything applications, has become an emerging technology to optimize network performance. In this paper, we study the Radio Resource Management (RRM) issue for D2D‐based Vehicle‐to‐Vehicle communication. The RRM key role is to assure the proficient exploitation of available resources while serving users according to their quality of service parameters. An Ant Colony Optimization (ACO)‐based Resource Allocation (ACORA) scheme is proposed in this paper. Swarm intelligence algorithm ACO is adopted to reduce the computational complexity while realizing satisfactory performance. Simulation results show promising performance of our proposed ACORA scheme.  相似文献

Usability evaluation for interactive systems is one of the greatest interests for the Human–Computer Interaction community. To support this evaluation, several subjective and objective methods have been proposed and applied in academy and industry. In this context, usability evaluators usually work with a lot of and different kinds of data (e.g., ordinal values from questionnaires and performance rates) generated from different methods and tools and related to different usability criteria. In this article, we propose to integrate these data in a single way to better support the quality evaluators’ decision-making for traffic supervision systems domain. We apply the measurement information model defined by IEC/IEC 15939 with the use of indicators in an interactive system evaluation environment. Four indicators are presented from their specifications to their application in the evaluation of a system from a company. These indicators integrate evaluation results from usability questionnaires, an automated ergonomic guidelines inspector, and an electronic informer.  相似文献

Recently, social network has been given much attention. This paper addresses the issue of extraction groups from professional social network and enriches the representation of the user profile and its related groups through building a social network warehousing. Several criteria may be applied to detect groups within professional communities, such as the area of expertise, the job openings proposed by the group, the security of the group, and the time of the group creation. In this paper, we aim to find, extract, and fuse the LinkedIn users. Indeed, we deal with the group extraction of LinkedIn users based on their profiles using our innovative semi-supervised clustering method based on quantitative constraints ranking. The encouraging experimental results carried out on our real professional warehouse show the usefulness of our approach.  相似文献

The inhibitory effect of an oxalic type organic compound oxalic N-phenylhydrazide-N′-phenylthiosemicarbazide on the corrosion of carbon steel in 0·5M H2SO4 aqueous solution was investigated by different experimental methods; gravimetry, voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The surface state of the electrode after immersion of the steel coupons in corrosion test solutions, in absence and in presence of the inhibitor was characterised by scanning electron microscopy. The potentiodynamic polarisation measurements showed that the presence of the inhibitor in 0·5M H2SO4 decreased both cathodic and anodic processes. The action of this inhibitor is therefore of a mixed type. The electrochemical impedance measurements showed the adsorption of the inhibitor. The inhibitory efficiency reaches a value of 95% at an inhibitor concentration of 10?3M.  相似文献

Glaucium flavum is used in Algerian folk medicine to remove warts (benign tumors). Its local appellations are Cheqiq el-asfar and Qarn el-djedyane. We have recently reported the anti-tumoral activity of Glaucium flavum root alkaloid extract against human cancer cells, in vitro and in vivo. The principal identified alkaloid in the extract was protopine. This study aims to determine which component(s) of Glaucium flavum root extract might possess potent antitumor activity on human cancer cells. Quantitative estimation of Glaucium flavum alkaloids was realized by HPLC-DAD. Glaucium flavum effect on human normal and cancer cell viability was determined using WST-1 assay. Quantification of alkaloids in Glaucium flavum revealed that the dried root part contained 0.84% of protopine and 0.07% of bocconoline (w/w), while the dried aerial part contained only 0.08% of protopine, glaucine as the main alkaloid, and no bocconoline. In vitro evaluation of the growth inhibitory activity on breast cancer and normal cells demonstrated that purified protopine did not reproduce the full cytotoxic activity of the alkaloid root extract on cancer cell lines. On the other hand, bocconoline inhibited strongly the viability of cancer cells with an IC50 of 7.8 μM and only a low cytotoxic effect was observed against normal human cells. Our results showed for the first time that protopine is the major root alkaloid of Glaucium flavum. Finally, we are the first to demonstrate a specific anticancer effect of Glaucium flavum root extract against breast cancer cells, which can be attributed, at least in part, to bocconoline.  相似文献

A new layered magnesium zinc phosphate hydrate, MgZn(HPO4)2·H2O, with a zinc phosphate framework isostructural with the one of Na2Zn(HPO4)2·4H2O, was prepared by the direct ambient pressure and temperature reaction between zinc 2,4-pentanedionate, phosphoric acid and hexahydrated magnesium chloride. The as-prepared sample is monoclinic (a = 8.780(7) Å, b = 13.240(7) Å, c = 11.123(0) Å and β = 116.21(2)°). The prepared solid undergoes two thermal transformations when it is heated from 110 to 600 °C. The first transformation is due to the release of intercalated water molecules and the second one is due to the HPO42− → P2O74− transition.  相似文献

Although it is known that textile wastewater contains highly toxic contaminants whose effects in humans represent public health problems in several countries, studies involving mammal species are scarce. This study was aimed to evaluate the toxicity profile of 90-days oral administration of textile dyeing effluent (TDE) on oxidative stress status and histological changes of male mice. The TDE was collected from the textile plant of Monastir, Tunisia and evaluated for the metals, aromatic amines, and textile dyes using analytical approaches. Metal analysis by ICP-MS showed that the tested TDE exhibited very high levels of Cr, As, and Sr, which exceeded the wastewater emission limits prescribed by WHO and Tunisian authority. The screening of TDE through UPLC-MS/MS confirmed the presence of two textile dyes: a triphenylmethane dye (Crystal violet) and a disperse azo dye (Disperse yellow 3). Exposure to TDE significantly altered the malondialdehyde (MDA), Conjugated dienes (CDs), Sulfhydryl proteins (SHP) and catalase levels in the hepatic and renal tissues. Furthermore, histopathology observation showed that hepatocellular and renal lesions were induced by TDE exposure. The present study concluded that TDE may involve induction of oxidative stress which ensues in pathological lesions in several vital organs suggesting its high toxicity. Metals and textile dyes may be associated with the observed toxicological effects of the TDE. These pollutants, which may have seeped into surrounding rivers in Monastir city, can cause severe health malaise in wildlife and humans.  相似文献
