Accurate values of the equivalent circuit parameters of three-phase induction motor are critical for its precise performance evaluation. Motor parameters, mainly the inductances obtained from conventional no-load and blocked rotor tests are constant parameters for all load conditions. However, due to inherent nature of the core material property, i.e., nonlinear B-H curve, the inductances do not remain constant in practical. This work proposes a method comprising simple tests using which all the motor nonlinear inductances can be determined. The motor mathematical model under the test conditions is also developed. The results obtained from equivalent circuit using the nonlinear inductances are validated with experimental results for two different motors and good agreement has been achieved. It is observed that the motor performances calculated using nonlinear inductances matches more closely to experimental results as compared to that using constant inductances.  相似文献

A CIE International Daylight Monitoring Programme (IDMP) general class station was established in 2000 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The station was upgraded to Research Class IDMP Station in April 2003. The study, which includes the sky luminance scan data collected from April 2003 to May 2005, firstly fits the data to the CIE Standard General Sky definitions, which consist of 15 luminance distributions for modeling the sky from the heavily overcast sky to cloudless clear sky. Then the paper proposes a reduced set of CIE general skies (and their probability of occurrence) to represent the sky conditions of Hong Kong. This reduced set will be known in this paper as “Hong Kong Representative Sky” (HKRS). Further, the paper evaluates the sensitivity of vertical sky component (VSC) to differences between the HKRS and the standard CIE Overcast Sky model. Comparing with observed data, it is demonstrated that the HKRS could give better results. A reduction in error of approximately 20–40% could be expected, depending on the orientation of a surface. Using the HKRS, building designers could better predict daylight availability of their design. Energy saving and more sustainable buildings might result.  相似文献

Ultrathin MoS2 has shown remarkable characteristics at the atomic scale with an immutable disorder to weak external stimuli. Ion beam modification unlocks the potential to selectively tune the size, concentration, and morphology of defects produced at the site of impact in 2D materials. Combining experiments, first-principles calculations, atomistic simulations, and transfer learning, it is shown that irradiation-induced defects can induce a rotation-dependent moiré pattern in vertically stacked homobilayers of MoS2 by deforming the atomically thin material and exciting surface acoustic waves (SAWs). Additionally, the direct correlation between stress and lattice disorder by probing the intrinsic defects and atomic environments are demonstrated. The method introduced in this paper sheds light on how engineering defects in the lattice can be used to tailor the angular mismatch in van der Waals (vdW) solids.  相似文献

The reliable correlation between personality and brain signal ensures that inferences from cognitive processes can be achieved. This research aims primarily to predict one's personality using brain signals. On grounds of Psychology, the inference of personality in this work is performed on the basis of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality inventory. Personality consists of different types of thinking, feeling and behavior patterns. EEG signals are produced when a person is exposed to situations or scenarios via visual information and experiences various emotions or sentiments. In this study, by evaluating brain waves while a person watches personality traits elicitation materials, the identification of the personality traits of an individual is done. The elicitation materials used for the collection of the dataset comprise approximately 50 videos with the pre-defined personality of the dramatic personae and therefore, it is considered to be the ground truth for the experimental procedure of this work. For creating a dataset, sixty participants contributed and gave brain signals. The GP model with the proposed BSH crossover, known as the BSHGP model, is implemented. The maximum performance of the BSHGP model for a 10-fold partition scheme is 84.34%.  相似文献

This paper presents the design of output feedback controllers for discrete-time (DT) linear systems. New sufficient LMI conditions are derived for designing static H 2 $$ {H}_2 $$ and H $$ {H}_{\infty } $$ controllers using decomposition of an auxiliary matrix. The decomposition facilitates linearization of nonlinear term of reduced size to obtain linear matrix inequality criteria. This leads to less conservative results as shown in the numerical examples. In addition, the proposed static output feedback criteria is also used for designing dynamic output feedback controllers for DT systems. Furthermore, a comparative study is also made for the proposed design method with the results existing in the literature. Finally, a DT static output feedback H $$ {H}_{\infty } $$ controller is designed for a quarter-car suspension system.
