A compact 27‐bit linearly polarized chipless radio frequency identification tag is presented in this research. The proposed tag is designed with an overall tag dimension of 23 × 23 mm2. The tag comprises of metallic (copper) rings‐based structure loaded with slots. These slots correspond to a particular sequence of bits. The circular tag is analysed using 2 different substrates, that is, Rogers RT/duroid/5870 and flexible Rogers RT/duroid/5880. The radar cross‐section response of frequency signatured tag is analysed for humidity and temperature sensor designs. Humidity sensing is achieved by deploying a DuPont Kapton HN heat resistant sheet on the shortest slot of the tag, that is, the sensing slot. Temperature sensing is attained using Rogers RT/duroid/5870 and Stanyl polyamide as a combined substrate. Hence, the miniaturized, robust, and flexible tag can be deployed over irregular surfaces for sensing purposes.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the study of adsorption of β-carotene in tetrahydrofuran solution on activated carbon. Activated carbon was prepared from apricot waste, which is a by-product of apricot processing by means of chemical activation with ZnCl2. BET surface area of activated carbon was measured to be 1060 m2 g?1. The effect of adsorption time, percentage of activated carbon in β-carotene solution, and β-carotene concentration on adsorption efficiency was also determined. Results were analyzed by the Langmiur, Freundlich, Dubinin?Redushkevich (D-R), Temkin, Frumkin, Harkins?Jura, Halse, Henderson, and Henry isotherms with linearized correlation coefficient. The characteristic parameters for each isotherm have also been determined. The kinetics of β-carotene adsorption has been discussed by the pseudo-first-order model, the pseudo-second-order model, the Elovich equation, the intraparticle diffusion model, the Bangham equation, and the modified Freundlich equation. Three error analysis methods of residual mean square error (RMSE), chi-square statistic (χ2), and the average percentage error (% APE) have been used.  相似文献

In this research, we propose a novel method to find the relevant feature subset by using ant colony optimisation minimum-redundancy–maximum-relevance. The proposed approach considers the significance of each feature while reducing the dimensionality. The performance of proposed algorithm has been compared with existing biologically inspired feature subset selection algorithms. Eight datasets have been selected from UCI machine learning repository for experimentation. The experimental results indicate that the presented algorithm out performs the other algorithms in terms of the classification accuracy and feature reduction.  相似文献

This is a comprehensive review regarding the particulars of phase inversion technique and its significance in polyamide films. Phase inversion is a versatile technique to form thin films of neat polyamide, composite, and blend system. Phase inversion can be induced by polymer solution immersion in nonsolvent, contact with nonsolvent vapor, thermal treatment, solvent evaporation, and quenching. Choice of solvent/nonsolvent system, polyamide, additive, coagulation bath, and film casting conditions are crucial. Only limitation of phase inversion is the requirement of polyamide solubility in suitable solvent. Promising applications of phase inversion polyamide are in fuel cell, gas separation, tissue engineering, and water filtration.  相似文献

Temperature signals measured around a horizontal heat transfer tube in a bubbling fluidized bed have been analyzed using Hurst's rescaled range (R/S) analysis. This analysis estimates and identifies long-term persistence or correlation in measured time series. The Hurst exponent H, which is evaluated from R/S analysis, also provides the local fractal dimension of the time series. A new approach to analyze an air fluidized particle system is proposed based on the evaluation of the Hurst exponent. Two Hurst exponents can be evaluated from a single time series, one from the discrete time fractional noise (where the linearity of the signal is subtracted and short-term fluctuations are emphasized) and the other from the signal itself (without subtracting the linearity of the signal). The authors argue that the Hurst exponent obtained from discrete time fractional noise characterizes the particle motion, whereas the Hurst exponent obtained from the signal itself characterizes the bubble motion. Moreover, a comparison between these two Hurst components identifies the zones where an alternating type of contact between the tube surface and the bubble-emulsion phase occur. The results were interpreted in conjunction with the mutual information function. The mutual information function provides the relationship between the data points separated in time and uses only the statistical relationship between the data points. The mutual information functions and the Hurst exponents exhibited similar trends around the heat transfer tube.  相似文献
