In this study, Co3O4 nanosheets were synthesized through hydrothermal method using cobalt nitrate hexahydrate. X-ray diffraction, diffuse reflectance spectra, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and field emission scanning electron microscopy were applied to investigate the properties of as-synthesized samples. Ultimately, the electrochemical and photoelectrochemical properties were evaluated by Mott–Schottky analysis and measuring photoconversion efficiency of Co3O4 nanosheets. The results indicated that Co3O4 nanosheets exhibited a maximum efficiency of 0.92% for water electrolysis under simulated 1.5 global sunlight air mass, which further suggests the excellent potential of Co3O4 nanosheets for application in hydrogen generation through photocatalytic water splitting.  相似文献

In recent earthquakes, many buildings have been damaged due to the soft‐storey mechanism failure. The seismic design codes for buildings do not contain enough criteria to predict the real displacement of such buildings. This paper focuses on evaluating the nonlinear displacement of buildings that fail in soft‐storey mechanism form. Results show that the nonlinear static procedure with coefficient method, which is described in Chapter 3 of ASCE/SEI 41‐06, does not have sufficient accuracy for estimation of structure displacement demand in such buildings. In this paper, the coefficient methodology is used for evaluating the target displacement for 5‐storey, 8‐storey and 15‐storey special moment resisting steel frames. For this purpose, dynamic nonlinear time‐history analysis has been applied for the mentioned structures having a soft‐storey mechanism failure form. The numerical results of storey displacement and interstorey drift were compared with those values obtained from the coefficient method described in Chapter 3 of ASCE/SEI 41‐06. One of the main challenges for future wireless systems is to enhance the effective data throughput by exploiting the allocated bandwidth as much as possible. Among several approaches at different layers, one of the most important is constituted by the so‐called link adaptation (LA) techniques. They are characterized by the adaptation of a set of transmission parameters to the channel state in order to improve performance. In this context, this paper is focused on the analysis of a particular class of LA techniques called adaptive modulation and coding, where the modulation and coding rate of transmission can vary according to the channel behavior. In particular, a novel LA algorithm, namely the timed window (TW) method, suitable for time‐division Duplex systems is proposed here. The performance of the TW algorithm is evaluated by taking actual user mobility conditions, communication channel behavior, as well as the physical layer effects into account. Finally, it is important to stress that, even if the wireless bearer considered in this study is TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio), the approach is quite general and it can be of interest for other wireless networks and can be optimized for different channel models (e.g. TU50, HT200, etc.). In a conventional integral imaging system the viewing angle is limited by the f-number of the microlens. To overcome this limitation we employ a phase-conjugate beam to read out elemental images, which are stored in photorefractive volume holographic storage, while the rotating diffuser reduces the speckle noise. In the proposed system the viewing angle can be enhanced over the f-number limitation. Experimental results and discussions of viewing parameters are presented.  相似文献

We use integral images of a three-dimensional (3D) scene to estimate the longitudinal depth of multiple objects present in the scene. With this information, we digitally reconstruct the objects in three dimensions and compute 3D correlations of input objects. We investigate the use of nonlinear techniques for 3D correlations. We present experimental results for 3D reconstruction and correlation of 3D objects. We demonstrate that it is possible to perform 3D segmentation of 3D objects in a scene. We finally present experiments to demonstrate that the 3D correlation is more discriminant than the two-dimensional correlation.  相似文献

We propose a method to implement a speckle-reduced coherent three-dimensional (3D) display system by a combination of integral imaging and photorefractive volume holographic storage. The 3D real object is imaged through the microlens array and stored in the photorefractive crystal. During the reconstruction process a phase conjugate reading beam is used to minimize aberration, and a rotating diffuser located on the imaging plane of the lens array is employed to reduce the speckle noise. The speckle-reduced 3D image with a wide viewing angle can be reconstructed by use of the proposed system. Experimental results are presented and optical parameters of the proposed system are discussed in detail.  相似文献

Integral imaging systems performance has been previously investigated with regard to different parameters such as lateral resolution, field of view, and depth of view. Those parameters are linked to one another, and, since the information capacity of an integral imaging system is finite, there are always trade-offs among them. We use the Shannon number and information capacity limit as figures of merit of integral imaging systems. The Shannon number and information capacity provide compact assessments of the system and are useful for analysis and design. The limitations on the Shannon number and the information capacity of an integral imaging system are determined by the recording and display media.  相似文献

We propose a method based on the maximum-likelihood technique for removing speckle patterns that plague coherent images. The proposed method is designed for images whose gray levels vary continuously in space. The image model is based on a lattice of nodes corresponding to vertices of triangles in which the gray level of each pixel is produced by linear interpolation. A constraint on isoline gray levels is introduced to regularize the solution.  相似文献
