This study has been focused on the effect of pretreatment of FA and POFA after geopolymerization on the mechanical properties. The aim of this work was to simplify the pretreatment that it can easily industrial be applied, using existing technology. Previous work has shown that a reduction in particle size increases the mechanical properties. However, this method involves a milling process which is not applicable for a wide industrial application. Hence, FA and POFA particles have been heated to 300°C, 500°C, and 800°C but applying different pretreatments: (i) predried at 110°C (reference sample); (ii) as received; (iii) prewetted; (iv) prewetted and later quenched in cold water. It was found that during the treatment the particle size increased due to thermal stress cracking. During fast heating, trapped pore water cannot be removed as fast as it evaporates and hence the particles crack. This increase in particle size caused an increase in compressive strength. In addition, heating to 300°C and 500°C caused a dehydroxylation of FA and POFA. This dehydroxylation resulted in a higher initial reactivity, reducing the setting time and improved mechanical strength.  相似文献

Emulsion polymerization of the butadiene (Bu) was performed in the presence of disproportionate potassium rosinate (DPR) as anionic emulsifier, potassium hydroxide (KOH), and potassium carbonate (K2CO3) as electrolytes, and three different initiators including potassium persulfate (KPS), 2,2-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) or 4,4′-azobis(4-cyanovaleric acid) (ACVA, also known as VAZO) at 70 °C. Latexes were prepared with a solid content of about 30 wt%. The particle size and its distribution were measured by dynamic light scattering (DLS) analysis, while the polymerization conversion was determined gravimetrically at different time intervals. Results on the emulsion polymerization of Bu in the presence of KOH and K2CO3 co-electrolytes showed that adding KOH to the reaction media decreases the polymerization rate. Positive effect of co-electrolytes on the control over polybutadiene latex (PBL) particles size and its distribution was also confirmed, where K2CO3 played roles as electrolyte and pH buffer and KOH served double roles as electrolyte and alkaline supplier of the reaction media. Complete solubility of the AIBN in Bu resulted in higher rate of polymerization in the presence of AIBN in comparison to other initiators, i.e., VAZO or KPS. The results showed that initiator type plays a significant role on the formation of PBL nanoparticles and kinetics of the polymerization. The kinetic studies revealed that emulsion polymerization of Bu follows case 1 (i.e., \(\bar{n}\) ?0.5, where \(\bar{n}\) indicates average number of the propagating chains per particle) of the Smith-Ewart kinetics.  相似文献

Our previous results showed that while amblyopes can efficiently integrate visual signals, they are poor at segregating signals in noise. This could be either because integration detectors have broader bandwidths or because of a selective extrastriate segregation anomaly. One consequence of the former would be poorer variance discrimination. Using a two-alternative forced-choice paradigm, observers were asked to judge the orientational variance for arrays of 16 Gabors. All observers, be they normal or amblyopic, could perform the task similarly, although at high spatial frequencies, amblyopic eyes needed slightly more incremental variance than the normal eyes. We conclude that normals and amblyopes integrate signals in a similar way.  相似文献

It is an important challenge to reduce the carbon content in nanostructured bainitic steels for commercialization purposes while still being able to gain the desired microstructural characteristics in nanoscale and not to deteriorate the strength-ductility combinations. That is the point at which an appropriate heat treatment procedure design would be an important parameter. This article aims to investigate how to obtain nanostructured bainite in steel with 0.26 wt% carbon content by applying multi-step austempering procedures. One-, two- and three-step austempering processes have been implemented, and proper heat treatment temperatures and approaches were selected based on dilatometry tests. Results indicated that it has become possible to achieve bainitic ferrites and austenite films with overall thicknesses of 164, 145 and 132 nm and 134, 105 and 90 nm at the end of one-, two- and three-step austempering heat treatments, respectively. Meanwhile, microstructural characteristics resulted in enhanced mechanical properties with ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of 1435, 1455 and 1428 MPa in combination with elongation levels of 15.4, 13.6 and 11.4% after implementing those heat treatments. Finally, it has been shown that applying the multi-step austempering heat treatments resulted in enhanced yield strength and impact toughness values due to the microstructural characteristics and proper heat treatment procedure design.  相似文献

喷丸处理是改进金属工件疲劳性能最常规的表面处理方法。文中研究了喷丸处理对合金化奥贝球铁(AD)I疲劳性能的影响。等温淬火包括875℃保温90 min奥氏体化处理,然后在320℃、365℃和400℃进行等温处理。用直径0.4~0.6 mm的丸喷丸后的试样做旋转弯曲疲劳试验。对试样进行XRD和SEM分析,测定显微硬度和粗糙度,研究试样的疲劳性能。结果表明,在320℃、365℃和400℃等温处理的试样喷丸后疲劳强度分别增加了27.3%、33.3%和48.4%。  相似文献

Although large focus has been placed into the deposition of nanocrystalline and ultra-nanocrystalline diamond films, most of this research uses microwave plasma assisted CVD systems. However, the growth conditions used in microwave systems cannot be directly used in hot-filament CVD systems. This paper, aims to enlarge the knowledge of the diamond film depositing process. H2/CH4/Ar gas mixtures have been used to deposit micro, nano and ultra-nanocrystalline diamond films by hot-filament CVD systems. Additionally, the distance between the filaments array and the substrate was varied, in order to observe its effect and consequently the effect of a lower substrate temperature in the nucleation density and deposition. All the samples were characterized for microstructure and quality, using scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy.  相似文献

In this paper a new algorithm for allocating energy and determining the optimum amount of network active power reserve capacity and the share of generating units and demand side contribution in providing reserve capacity requirements for day-ahead market is presented. In the proposed method, the optimum amount of reserve requirement is determined based on network security set by operator. In this regard, Expected Load Not Supplied (ELNS) is used to evaluate system security in each hour. The proposed method has been implemented over the IEEE 24-bus test system and the results are compared with a deterministic security approach, which considers certain and fixed amount of reserve capacity in each hour. This comparison is done from economic and technical points of view. The promising results show the effectiveness of the proposed model which is formulated as mixed integer linear programming (MILP) and solved by GAMS software.  相似文献
