The kinetics of B‐a and P‐a type copolybenzoxazine via the ring opening process

The structure of benzoxazines is similar to that of phenolic resin through thermal self‐curing of the heterocyclic ring opening reaction that neither requires catalyst nor releases any condensation byproduct. These polybenzoxazine resins have several outstanding properties such as high thermal stability and high glass transition temperature. To better understand the curing kinetics of this copolybenzoxazine thermosetting resin, dynamic and isothermal differential scanning calorimetry measurements were performed. Three models, the Kissinger method, the Flynn–Wall–Osawa method, and the Kamal method, were used to describe the curing process. Dynamic kinetic activation energies based on Kissinger and Flynn–Wall–Osawa methods are 72.11 and 84.06 KJ/mol, respectively. The Kamal method based on an autocatalytic model results in a total order of reaction between 2.66 and 3.03, depending on curing temperature. Its activation energy and Arrhenius preexponential are 50.3 KJ/mol and 7959, respectively. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 95: 730–737, 2005

基于SVM的汉语句子片段划分

针对长句子引起句法分析性能下降的问题,本文提出了一种基于SVM的句子片段划分方法:先根据语法结构将句子划分为多个片段,识别出每个片段的类别;然后根据片段的类别将句子分割为几个部分,每个部分作为句法分析的基本单元;最后将句法分析之后的各个部分进行合并,形成完整的分析结果.该方法减小了句法分析的复杂度,提高了分析的准确率.     

潜器Stewart平台动力学仿真

建立了Stewart平台的动力学模型,对潜器的动力学特征进行分析,对其运动进行动力学仿真研究.以Stewart平台的任意支腿为研究对象,考虑各支腿的重力和惯性力,利用牛顿-欧拉方法建立了支腿及动平台的力和力矩平衡方程,推导出了Stewart平台的动力学方程及支腿所受的支反力.以潜艇模拟器并联机构为例,运用动力学模型进行了实际计算并绘制了支腿驱动力的变化曲线,将驱动力与支腿运动速度相乘得到支腿功率输出的变化曲线,为液压油缸的功率设计提供了依据,也为潜器的精确动力学解耦奠定了基础.

Liquid-liquid separations in a conventional hydrocyclone

The performance of a conventional hydrocyclone for separation of immiscible liquids was investigated experimentally. The results are particularly useful for evaluation of multi-cyclone process design of same system. The effect of materials of constructions of the hydrocyclone on the separation efficiency was also tested. Significant differences in performance were noted depending on the preferential wettability characteristics of the solid surfaces for the liquids being separated.     

Allelochemical resistance of bald cypress,Taxodium distichum,heartwood to the subterranean termite,Coptotermes formosanus

The heartwood of bald cypress,Taxodium distichum (L.) Rich., resisted feeding attack by the Formosan subterranean termite,Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki. Hexane-extracted heartwood, however, was consumed at > 12 times the amount of sound heartwood eaten. A bioassay usingT. distichum sapwood as a feeding substrate was employed to assess the antitermitic activity of successive hexane, acetone, and methanol extracts of heartwood shavings and isolates derived from the active hexane extract. Two fractions, eluted from the crude hexane extract by liquid chromatography, significantly reduced termite feeding compared to the parent extract, while a third fraction was less active than the original hexane extract. Each fraction contained one major component. All three components were structurally related diterpenes. The two most active heartwood constituents were identified by GC-MS and NMR as ferruginol and manool, while the third and least active, but most prevalent, compound in heartwood was identified as nezukol. Results of bioassays suggest that these allelochemicals act principally as feeding deterrents with accompanying termite mortality due to starvation.
