Deciphering the sophisticated interplay between thermodynamics and kinetics of high-temperature lithiation reaction is fundamentally significant for designing and preparing cathode materials. Here, the formation pathway of Ni-rich layered ordered LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 (O-LNCM622O) is carefully characterized using in situ synchrotron radiation diffraction. A fast nonequilibrium phase transition from the reactants to a metastable disordered Li1−x(Ni0.6Co0.2Mn0.2)1+xO2 (D-LNCM622O, 0 < x < 0.95) takes place while lithium/oxygen is incorporated during heating before the generation of the equilibrium phase (O-LNCM622O). The time evolution of the lattice parameters for layered nonstoichiometric D-LNCM622O is well-fitted to a model of first-order disorder-to-order transition. The long-range cation disordering parameter, Li/TM (TM = Ni, Co, Mn) ion exchange, decreases exponentially and finally reaches a steady-state as a function of heating time at selected temperatures. The dominant kinetic pathways revealed here will be instrumental in achieving high-performance cathode materials. Importantly, the O-LNCM622O tends to form the D-LNCM622O with Li/O loss above 850 °C. In situ XRD results exhibit that the long-range cationic (dis)ordering in the Ni-rich cathodes could affect the structural evolution during cycling and thus their electrochemical properties. These insights may open a new avenue for the kinetic control of the synthesis of advanced electrode materials.  相似文献

Thermal stability is a critical criterion for assessing the long-term stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, it is shown that un-encapsulated co-evaporated MAPbI3 (TE_MAPbI3) PSCs demonstrate remarkable thermal stability even in an n-i-p structure that employs Spiro-OMeTAD as hole transport material (HTM). TE_MAPbI3 PSCs maintain over ≈95% and ≈80% of their initial power conversion efficiency (PCE) after 1000 and 3600 h respectively under continuous thermal aging at 85 °C. TE_MAPbI3 PSCs demonstrate remarkable structural robustness, absence of pinholes, or significant variation in grain sizes, and intact interfaces with the HTM, upon prolonged thermal aging. Here, the main factors driving TE_MAPbI3 stability are assessed. It is demonstrated that the excellent TE_MAPbI3 thermal stability is related to the perovskite growth process leading to a compact and almost strain-stress-free film. On the other hand, un-encapsulated PSCs with the same architecture, but incorporating solution-processed MAPbI3 or Cs0.05(MA0.17FA0.83)0.95Pb(I0.83Br0.17)3 as active layers, show a complete PCE degradation after 500 h under the same thermal aging condition. These results highlight that the control of the perovskite growth process can substantially enhance the PSCs thermal stability, besides the chemical composition. The TE_MAPbI3 impressive long-term thermal stability features the potential for field-operating conditions.  相似文献

A commercial blue-veined cheese made from unpasteurized milk was examined by conventional culturing and PCR denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis analysis of the bacterial community 16S rRNA genes using 3 primer sets, V3, V4V5, and V6V8. Genomic DNA for amplification was extracted directly from raw milk, starter culture, cheese at different stages of production, fully ripened cheese, and from the cultured cells grown on various media. The outer rind was sampled separately from the inner white core and blue veins. A diverse microbiota containing Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus curvatus, Staphylococcus gallinarum, Staphylococcus devriesei, Microbacterium sp., Sphingobacterium sp., Mycetocola sp., Brevundimonas sp., Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus sp., and Kocuria sp. was detected in the raw milk using culturing methods, but only Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Enterococcus faecalis survived to the final cheese and were detected both in the core and the rind. Using PCR denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis analysis of the cheese process samples, Staphylococcus equorum and Enterococcus durans were found in the rind of prepiercing samples but not in the core and veins; after piercing, these species were found in all parts of the cheese but survived only in the rind when the cheese was fully ripened. Brevibacterium sp., Halomonas sp., Acinetobacter sp., Alkalibacterium sp., and Corynebacterium casei were identified only by PCR denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis and not cultured from the samples. Brevibacterium sp. was initially identified in the cheese postpiercing (core and veins), Halomonas sp. was found in the matured cheese (rind), and Acinetobacter sp., Alkalibacterium sp., and Corynebacterium casei were also found in the prepiercing samples (rind) and then found through the subsequent process stages. The work suggests that in this raw milk cheese, a limited community from the milk survive to the final cheese, with salt addition and handling contributing to the final cheese consortium.  相似文献

Effect of tocols, β-carotene, and chlorophyll on photo-oxidative stability of red palm oil (RPO) were studied. Model systems of triacylglycerols+tocols, triacylglycerols+β-carotene, triacylglycerols +tocols+β-carotene, and triacylglycerols+tocols+β-carotene+chlorophyll were exposed to fluorescent light at intensities of 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000 lux for 7 h at 30±2°C. Changes in concentrations of tocopherols, tocotrienols, β-carotene, chlorophyll, and peroxide values were evaluated every hour. Light intensity accelerated degradation of tocols in the triacylglycerols+tocols system and β-carotene in the triacylglycerols+β-carotene system. Gamma-tocotrienol showed the highest degradation rate and β-carotene was the most sensitive compound to changes in light intensity, indicated by the lowest light intensity coefficient (zi) value. The presence of tocols and β-carotene together showed protective effects for the photo-oxidative stability of RPO. The presence of chlorophyll increased the rate of photo-oxidation at high light intensities. Interactions between tocols and β-carotene contributed to the photo-oxidative stability of RPO.  相似文献

Addition of NaBF4 during anodic synthesis of TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNTAs) photocatalyst and its application for generating hydrogen from glycerol–water solution has been investigated. The TNTAs were synthesized by anodic oxidation of titanium metal in glycerol electrolyte solution containing NH4F. During the process, the NaBF4 with different concentrations were added to the solution. Annealing of the formatted TNTAs were performed at 500 °C for 3 h under 20% H2 in argon atmosphere, to produce crystalline phase photocatalyst. FESEM analysis showed that self-organized and well ordered TNTAs have range of inner diameters, wall thicknesses and lengths approximately 62–130 nm, 27 nm and 1.53 μm, respectively. FTIR analysis indicated that carbon, nitrogen and boron were incorporated into the TNTAs lattice. Refer to UV–Vis DRS and XRD analysis, the TNTAs photocatalysts prepared have the band gap range of 2.70–3.10 eV, with mostly have anatase phase. The NaBF4 addition during synthesis, resulted modified TNTAs that can reduce the recombination of photo-induced electrons-holes. Photocatalytic hydrogen production test, from glycerol–water solution, indicated that TNTAs with the addition of NaBF4 during anodic synthesis process showed higher hydrogen production comparing to the one without NaBF4 addition. Among them the TNTAs,b (with the addition 5 mM of NaBF4) showed up to 32% improvement in the hydrogen production and can be considered as the optimum condition.  相似文献

Many plants and animals store toxic or unpalatable compounds in tissues that are easily encountered by predators during attack. Defensive compounds can be produced de novo, or obtained from dietary sources and stored directly without selection or modification, or can be selectively sequestered or biotransformed. Storage strategies should be optimized to produce effective defence mechanisms but also prevent autotoxicity of the host. Nudibranch molluscs utilize a diverse range of chemical defences, and we investigated the accumulation and distribution of defensive secondary metabolites in body tissues of 19 species of Chromodorididae nudibranchs. We report different patterns of distribution across tissues, where: 1) the mantle had more or different (but structurally related) compounds than the viscera; 2) all compounds in the mantle were also in the viscera; and 3) the mantle had fewer compounds than the viscera. We found no further examples of species that selectively store a single compound, previously reported in Chromodoris species. Consistent with other studies, we found high concentrations of metabolites in mantle rim tissues compared to the viscera. Using bioassays, compounds in the mantle were more toxic than compounds found in the viscera for Glossodoris vespa Rudman, 1990 and Ceratosoma brevicaudatum Abraham, 1876. In G. vespa, compounds in the mantle were also more unpalatable to palaemonid shrimp than compounds found in the viscera. This indicates that these species may modify compounds to increase bioactivity for defensive purposes and/or selectively store more toxic compounds. We highlight clear differences in the storage of sequestered chemical defences, which may have important implications for species to employ effective defences against a range of predators.  相似文献

In this article we derive likelihood-based confidence intervals for the risk ratio using over-reported two-sample binary data obtained using a double-sampling scheme. The risk ratio is defined as the ratio of two proportion parameters. By maximizing the full likelihood function, we obtain closed-form maximum likelihood estimators for all model parameters. In addition, we derive four confidence intervals: a naive Wald interval, a modified Wald interval, a Fieller-type interval, and an Agresti-Coull interval. All four confidence intervals are illustrated using cervical cancer data. Finally, we conduct simulation studies to assess and compare the coverage probabilities and average lengths of the four interval estimators. We conclude that the modified Wald interval, unlike the other three intervals, produces close-to-nominal confidence intervals under various simulation scenarios examined here and, therefore, is preferred in practice.  相似文献

Signature is one of human biometrics that may change due to some factors, for example age, mood and environment, which means two signatures from a person cannot perfectly matching each other. A Signature Verification System (SVS) is a solution for such situation. The system can be decomposed into three stages: data acquisition and preprocessing, feature extraction and verification. This paper presents techniques for SVS that uses Freeman chain code (FCC) as data representation. Before extracting the features, the raw images will undergo preprocessing stage; binarization, noise removal, cropping and thinning. In the first part of feature extraction stage, the FCC was extracted by using boundary-based style on the largest contiguous part of the signature images. The extracted FCC was divided into four, eight or sixteen equal parts. In the second part of feature extraction, six global features were calculated against split image to test the feature efficiency. Finally, verification utilized Euclidean distance to measured and matched in k-Nearest Neighbors. MCYT bimodal database was used in every stage in the system. Based on the experimental results, the lowest error rate for FRR and FAR were 6.67 % and 12.44 % with AER 9.85 % which is better in term of performance compared to other works using that same database.  相似文献
