2D perovskite materials have recently reattracted intense research interest for applications in photovoltaics and optoelectronics. As a consequence of the dielectric and quantum confinement effect, they show strongly bound and stable excitons at room temperature. Here, the band‐edge exciton fine structure and in particular its exciton and biexciton dynamics in high quality crystals of (PEA)2PbI4 are investigated. A comparison of bulk and surface exciton lifetimes yields a room temperature surface recombination velocity of 2 × 103 cm s?1 and an intrinsic lifetime of 185 ns. Biexciton emission is evidenced at room temperature, with a binding energy of ≈45 meV and a lifetime of 80 ps. At low temperature, exciton state splitting is observed, which is caused by the electron–hole exchange interaction. Transient photoluminescence resolves the low‐lying dark exciton state, with a bright/dark splitting energy estimated to be 10 meV. This work contributes to the understanding of the complex scenario of the elementary photoexcitations in 2D perovskites.  相似文献

Several ergonomic studies have estimated computer work duration using registration software. In these studies, an arbitrary pause definition (Pd; the minimal time between two computer events to constitute a pause) is chosen and the resulting duration of computer work is estimated. In order to uncover the relationship between the used pause definition and the computer work duration (PWT), we used registration software to record usage patterns of 571 computer users across almost 60,000 working days. For a large range of Pds (1-120 s), we found a shallow, log-linear relationship between PWT and Pds. For keyboard and mouse use, a second-order function fitted the data best. We found that these relationships were dependent on the amount of computer work and subject characteristics. Comparison of exposure duration from studies using different pause definitions should take this into account, since it could lead to misclassification. Software manufacturers and ergonomists assessing computer work duration could use the found relationships for software design and study comparison.  相似文献

Stratego is a domain-specific language for the specification of program transformation systems. The design of Stratego is based on the paradigm of rewriting strategies: user-definable programs in a little language of strategy operators determine where and in what order transformation rules are (automatically) applied to a program. The separation of rules and strategies supports modularity of specifications. Stratego also provides generic features for specification of program traversals. In this paper we present a case study of Stratego as applied to a non-trivial problem in program transformation. We demonstrate the use of Stratego in eliminating intermediate data structures from (also known as deforesting) functional programs via the warm fusion algorithm of Launchbury and Sheard. This algorithm has been specified in Stratego and embedded in a fully automatic transformation system for kernel Haskell. The entire system consists of about 2600 lines of specification code, which breaks down into 1850 lines for a general framework for Haskell transformation and 750 lines devoted to a highly modular, easily extensible specification of the warm fusion transformer itself. Its successful design and construction provides further evidence that programs generated from Stratego specifications are suitable for integration into real systems, and that rewriting strategies are a good paradigm for the implementation of such systems. Programming language semantics based on pure rewrite rules suffers from the gap between the rewriting strategy implemented in rewriting engines and the intended evaluation strategy. This paper shows how programmable rewriting strategies can be used to implement interpreters for programming languages based on rewrite rules. The advantage of this approach is that reduction rules are first class entities that can be reused in different strategies, even in other kinds of program transformations such as optimizers. The approach is illustrated with several interpreters for the lambda calculus based on implicit and explicit (parallel) substitution, different strategies including normalization, eager evaluation, lazy evaluation, and lazy evaluation with updates. An extension with pattern matching and choice shows that such interpreters can easily be extended.  相似文献

In order to adapt functionality to their individual users, systems need information about these users. The Social Web provides opportunities to gather user data from outside the system itself. Aggregated user data may be useful to address cold-start problems as well as sparse user profiles, but this depends on the nature of individual user profiles distributed on the Social Web. For example, does it make sense to re-use Flickr profiles to recommend bookmarks in Delicious? In this article, we study distributed form-based and tag-based user profiles, based on a large dataset aggregated from the Social Web. We analyze the completeness, consistency and replication of form-based profiles, which users explicitly create by filling out forms at Social Web systems such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. We also investigate tag-based profiles, which result from social tagging activities in systems such as Flickr, Delicious and StumbleUpon: to what extent do tag-based profiles overlap between different systems, what are the benefits of aggregating tag-based profiles. Based on these insights, we developed and evaluated the performance of several cross-system user modeling strategies in the context of recommender systems. The evaluation results show that the proposed methods solve the cold-start problem and improve recommendation quality significantly, even beyond the cold-start.  相似文献

From a quantitative microbial risk assessment perspective it is important to know whether certain food environments influence the pathogenic potential of pathogens and to what extent. The purpose of the present study was to examine the pathogenic potential of S. Typhimurium DT104, measured as the capability to survive a simulated gastrointestinal tract system and the capability of adhering to and invading differentiated Caco-2 cells, after sequential incubation (without intermediate culturing) into soil, lettuce and cut lettuce stored under modified atmosphere (MAP) conditions. Two S. Typhimurium DT104 strains were used, one isolated from a pig carcass and one isolated from lettuce. The most important result of the present study is that the sequential incubation of S. Typhimurium in soil and lettuce slightly increased the capability of surviving the simulated gastric fluid, increased the capability to grow in the simulated intestinal fluid but decreased the capability of epithelial attachment and invasion and decreased the overall survival probability of the gastrointestinal tract system. Some variation in responses between the strains was observed, with the lettuce strain maintaining higher epithelial attachment capability and the carcass strains maintaining higher epithelial invasion capability. This study provided quantitative data on the effect of environmental and food matrices on the pathogenic potential of S. Typhimurium DT104 using a realistic system of sequential incubations in environmental and food matrices, followed by simulated gastrointestinal tract passage without intermediate culturing. These results could aid the development of more realistic quantitative microbial risk assessments.  相似文献

In breast cancer, expression of Cluster of Differentiation 24 (CD24), a small GPI-anchored glycoprotein at the cell periphery, is associated with metastasis and immune escape, while its absence is associated with tumor-initiating capacity. Since the mechanism of CD24 sorting is unknown, we investigated the role of glycosylation in the subcellular localization of CD24. Expression and localization of wild type N36- and/or N52-mutated CD24 were analyzed using immunofluorescence in luminal (MCF-7) and basal B (MDA-MB-231 and Hs578T) breast cancer cells lines, as well as HEK293T cells. Endogenous and exogenously expressed wild type and mutated CD24 were found localized at the plasma membrane and the cytoplasm, but not the nucleoplasm. The cell lines showed different kinetics for the sorting of CD24 through the secretory/endocytic pathway. N-glycosylation, especially at N52, and its processing in the Golgi were critical for the sorting and expression of CD24 at the plasma membrane of HEK293T and basal B type cells, but not of MCF-7 cells. In conclusion, our study highlights the contribution of N-glycosylation for the subcellular localization of CD24. Aberrant N-glycosylation at N52 of CD24 could account for the lack of CD24 expression at the cell surface of basal B breast cancer cells.  相似文献
