A main feature of quality function deployment (QFD) planning process is to determine target values for the design requirements (DRs) of a product, with a view to achieving a higher level of overall customer satisfaction. However, in real world applications, values of DRs are often discrete instead of continuous. Therefore, a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model considering discrete data is suggested. As opposed to the existing literature, the fulfilment levels of DRs are assumed to have a piece-wise linear relationship with cost; because, constraints of technology and resource rarely provides a linear relationship in manufacturing systems. In the proposed MILP model, we considered customer satisfaction as the only goal. But, QFD process may be necessary to optimise cost and technical difficulty goals as well as customer satisfaction. Therefore, by developing the MILP model with multi-objective decision making (MODM) approach, a novel mixed integer goal programming (MIGP) model is proposed to optimise these goals simultaneously. Finally, MILP model solution turns out to be a more realistic approach to real applications because piece-wise linear relationship is taken into account. The solution of MIGP model provided different alternative results to decision makers according to usage of the lexicographic goal programming (LGP) approach. The applicability of the proposed models in practice is demonstrated with a washing machine development problem.  相似文献

Thoracic venous anomalies without congenital heart anomalies are present in minority of the population, but they are frequent enough to be encountered while placing hemodialysis catheters through the jugular or subclavian veins. Persistent left superior vena cava is the most commonly seen anomaly and it is rarely noticed before the observation of an unusual course of hemodialysis catheter or guidewire on chest X‐ray. We present two patients with previously unspotted persistent left superior vena cava and uncomplicated hemodialysis catheter insertions through the internal jugular veins with good catheter functions. Review of the relevant literature from a nephrologists’ perspective with technical aspects is provided.  相似文献

Abstract: Mixture of experts (ME) is a modular neural network architecture for supervised learning. This paper illustrates the use of the ME network structure to guide model selection for classification of electrocardiogram (ECG) beats. The expectation maximization algorithm is used for training the ME so that the learning process is decoupled in a manner that fits well with the modular structure. The ECG signals were decomposed into time–frequency representations using discrete wavelet transforms and statistical features were calculated to depict their distribution. The ME network structure was implemented for ECG beats classification using the statistical features as inputs. To improve classification accuracy, the outputs of expert networks were combined by a gating network simultaneously trained in order to stochastically select the expert that is performing the best at solving the problem. Five types of ECG beats (normal beat, congestive heart failure beat, ventricular tachyarrhythmia beat, atrial fibrillation beat, partial epilepsy beat) obtained from the Physiobank database were classified with an accuracy of 96.89% by the ME network structure. The ME network structure achieved accuracy rates which were higher than those of the stand-alone neural network models.  相似文献

Aflatoxin contents in 12 types of herbal teas were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detector using immunoaffinity column clean-up. Forty eight samples were collected from four local herbal shops in Manisa, Turkey. Of the 48 samples analyzed, 43 were aflatoxin positive. The highest concentration of aflatoxin (34.18 µg/kg) was determined in a sample of camomile tea. The occurrence of AFB1, B2, G1 and G2 was found in samples at levels of 54, 29, 71 and 46 %, respectively. Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1 and G2 contamination levels varied from 0 to 14.2, 0 to 12.4, 0 to 13.5 and 0 to 28.7 µg/kg, respectively. Aflatoxin was not detected in five samples consisting of linseed, lime and fennel tea.  相似文献

A new type of amphiphilic antibacterial elastomer has been described. Thermoplastic elastomer, polystyrene–block-polyisoprene–block-polystyrene (PS–b-PI–b-PS) triblock copolymer was functionalized in toluene solution by free radical mercaptan addition in order to obtain an amphiphilic antibacterial elastomer. Thiol terminated PEG was grafted through the double bonds of PS–b-PI–b-PS via free radical thiol-ene coupling reaction. The antibacterial properties of the amphiphilic graft copolymers were observed. The original and the modified polymers were used to create microfibers in an electro-spinning process. Topology of the electrospun micro/nanofibers were studied by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The chemical structures of the amphiphilic comb type graft copolymers were elucidated by the combination of elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, GPC and FTIR.  相似文献

Gasification as a thermo-chemical process is defined and limited to combustion and pyrolysis. The gasification of biomass is a thermal treatment, which results in a high production of gaseous products and small quantities of char and ash. The solid phase usually presents a carbon content higher than 76%, which makes it possible to use it directly for industrial purposes. The gaseous products can be burned to generate heat or electricity, or they can potentially be used in the synthesis of liquid transportation fuels, H2, or chemicals. On the other hand, the liquid phase can be used as fuel in boilers, gas turbines or diesel engines, both for heat or electric power generation. However, the main purpose of biomass gasification is the production of low- or medium heating value gas which can be used as fuel gas in an internal combustion engine for power production. In addition to limiting applications and often compounding environmental problems, these technologies are an inefficient source of usable energy.  相似文献

This study investigates natural convection heat transfer of water-based nanofluids in an inclined square enclosure where the left vertical side is heated with a constant heat flux, the right side is cooled, and the other sides are kept adiabatic. The governing equations are solved using polynomial differential quadrature (PDQ) method. Calculations were performed for inclination angles from 0° to 90°, solid volume fractions ranging from 0% to 20%, constant heat flux heaters of lengths 0.25, 0.50 and 1.0, and a Rayleigh number varying from 104 to 106. The ratio of the nanolayer thickness to the original particle radius is kept at a constant value of 0.1. The heat source is placed at the center of the left wall. Five types of nanoparticles are taken into consideration: Cu, Ag, CuO, Al2O3, and TiO2. The results show that the average heat transfer rate increases significantly as particle volume fraction and Rayleigh number increase. The results also show that the length of the heater is also an important parameter affecting the flow and temperature fields. The average heat transfer decreases with an increase in the length of the heater. As the heater length is increased, the average heat transfer rate starts to decrease for a smaller inclination angle (it starts to decrease with inclination at 90° for ? = 0.25, 60° for ? = 0.50, 45° for ? = 1.0, respectively).  相似文献

In this study, the effect of pumpkin fibre (PF) on physicochemical, microbiological, rheological and microstructural characteristics of reduced‐fat yogurt samples was investigated during storage. PF was added at three different concentrations (0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5%) to standardised (1.55% fat ratio) cow's milk. Plain yogurt (PF‐free) was used for comparison. The addition of PF significantly affected total solid content, synaeresis, water‐holding capacity, apparent viscosity and colour parameters (L*, a*, b*) of yogurt samples for all sampling time. The addition of PF caused a reduction in L* values (from 94.89 to 88.67), but caused an increase in a* (from ?2.10 to +4.22) and b* (from 10.79 to 25.88) values. Yogurts with PF exhibited lower synaeresis and more viscous structure than PF‐free sample during storage. SEM images showed that distinctive microstructure profile was present between samples with or without PF. More filamentous structures and denser network were observed in the SEM images and these increased with increasing level of PF. Yogurt containing 1.0% PF showed a higher storage (G′) (3687.87 at 21 day) and loss (G″) (543.10 at 21 day) moduli in comparison with other samples. In conclusion, the results revealed that PF improved the physical quality and contributed textural properties of half‐fat yogurt.  相似文献
