The optimization of design and operation of combined heat, cooling and power systems usually leads to select different plant lay-outs and size of components, depending on the adopted optimization criterion (maximum profit or energy saving or minimum environmental impact). This occurs when the current energy prices and the normative provisions supporting cogeneration are not able to coincide with the specific customer’s interest and the overall “social interest” for a reduction in energy consumption and in pollutants’ emissions. At EU level, polygeneration is considered to have a large potential for residential and commercial buildings district network, for the tertiary sector and for industrial applications. In such applications, it is often convenient to integrate the trigeneration system with a reversible heat pump, because of a low ratio between electric demand and that for heating and cooling. In this paper, the design and operation of such hybrid systems is discussed. The results achievable through different operation modes are compared and, with reference to a 600-rooms hotel and a 300-beds hospital in Italy, the effects on plant design from an hour-by-hour optimization of plant operation are assessed. Finally, the need for a flexible support system for cogeneration plants is put into evidence and some criteria are listed for an effective regulation.  相似文献

A repetitive learning control algorithm, that achieves asymptotic joint position tracking for robotic manipulators characterized by uncertain dynamics and performing a repetitive task, can be theoretically and experimentally endowed with a recursive period identifier. Experimental results illustrate its application to a 2‐link robot master‐slave synchronization problem, in which the joint positions of the master, ie, “periodic” with uncertain and even time‐varying period, are only available at runtime.  相似文献

The effects of semen extender components on the ability of stallion sperm to bind to the zona pellucida (ZP) and the suitability of using bovine ZP for a ZP-binding assay for stallion sperm were investigated in a series of experiments. In Experiment I, binding of stallion sperm to both bovine and equine ZP was significantly increased when a skim milk-based extender (EZM) was used. In Experiment II, a threefold increase in sperm binding to ZP was observed when sperm were diluted in EZM compared with diluents, which contained no milk (TALP, LAC, and EmCare). In Experiment III, centrifuging the sperm through Percoll did not increase sperm binding to the ZP but did remove any positive effect of EZM on sperm-ZP binding. In Experiment IV, exposure of either sperm or ZP to EZM before co-incubation did not increase sperm binding to ZP. In Experiment V, sperm diluted in TALP containing skim milk, EZM, or INRA96 bound more efficiently to the ZP than sperm diluted in TALP without milk proteins. In Experiment VI, sodium caseinate, native phosphocaseinate, and caseinoglycopeptide increased sperm binding to the ZP. In conclusion, diluents containing milk or milk proteins markedly enhanced the number of sperm bound to both equine and bovine ZP.  相似文献

Nonwoven geotextiles have been commonly used in filtration and drainage of geotechnical engineering works. This paper presents a study on the use of such materials in drainage and filtration systems of tailings dams. Different combinations of tailings and geotextiles were submitted to gradient ratio (GR) tests under confinement in the laboratory with varying values of stress levels and hydraulic gradients. The results of GR tests under confining stresses up to 2000 kPa are presented and discussed. The dimensions of the tailings particles entrapped in the geotextile specimens and those that piped through the geotextile were also assessed. Geotextile specimens from the drainage system of a tailings dam were exhumed for analyses, as part of the research programme. The results obtained showed that stress levels and the hydraulic gradients used in the tests influenced the behaviour of the system. Physical and microscopic analyses of the specimens tested showed greater geotextile impregnation by tailings particles in the field than in the laboratory. The overall performance of the geotextiles tested under laboratory conditions was satisfactory. However, in the field segregation of tailings particles and transport of fines in suspension can subject the filter to more complex and severe clogging mechanisms, not properly simulated in current standard testing procedures.  相似文献

In this paper we report on a general methodology to investigate nanowire MOSFETs based on the coupling of mechanical simulation with 3-D real-space Monte Carlo simulation. The Monte Carlo transport model accounts for both strain silicon and quantum mechanical effects. Mechanical strain effects are accounted for through an appropriate change of the anisotropic band structure computed with the empirical pseudopotential method. Quantum effects are instead included by means of a quantum mechanical correction of the potential coming from the self-consistent solution of the Schrodinger equation. This methodology has been then applied to the simulation of a test case silicon nanowire n-MOSFET. Impact of mechanical strain and quantum effects on the drive current is investigated. It is shown that only the inclusion of strain and quantum mechanical effects allows a good agreement with experimental data, demonstrating the validity of the proposed methodology for ultimate devices.  相似文献

Participants were led to expect either cooperation or conflict, and then performed K. Duncker's (1945) functional-fixedness task (Experiment 1) or E. Rosch's (1975) categorization task (Experiment 2). Those who expected cooperation, compared with those who expected conflict, were more likely to solve Duncker's task and used categories more inclusively, that is, rated low-prototypic exemplars of a category as better members of the category. In Experiment 3, the direct experience of cooperation and conflict had the same effect on categorization. In Experiment 4, participants were classified as having cooperative, competitive, or individualistic social values, and were led to expect either cooperation, conflict, or neither in a control. In the control, cooperators used categories more inclusively than competitors or individualists. Competitors used categories least inclusively in the conflict condition; in the cooperation condition, they used categories most inclusively. These results are interpreted in terms of the possible mediating role of cognitive organization in individual and intergroup conflict resolution.
