In this paper, approximate formulas are derived for the electromagnetic pulse due to a delta-function current in a horizontal electric dipole on the planar boundary between a homogeneous isotropic medium and one-dimensionally anisotropic medium. The components of the electric field consist of two delta-function lateral pulses which decrease with the amplitude factor /spl rho//sup -2/ and travel along the boundary with different velocities and different amplitudes. A 16-Mb magnetic random access memory (MRAM) is demonstrated in 0.18-/spl mu/m three-Cu-level CMOS with a three-level MRAM process adder. The chip, the highest density MRAM reported to date, utilizes a 1.42/spl mu/m/sup 2/ 1-transistor 1-magnetic tunnel junction (1T1MTJ) cell, measures 79 mm/sup 2/ and features a /spl times/16 asynchronous SRAM-like interface. The advent of packetized audio transmission, such as voice over IP (VoIP), has resulted in challenging requirements for echo cancellation technology. One key aspect of this technology is the need to characterize, quickly and accurately, the echo paths in the transmission media. Echo paths consist of a constant time delay with no echo signal and active regions in which the echo signal is present. When an adaptive filter echo cancellation algorithm is used, its performance can be greatly increased, and its complexity can be reduced if it is only applied to the active regions. This requires an algorithm to estimate the constant delay and locate the active regions. Traditionally, delay estimation has been based on direct application of cross-correlation. This method has poor performance because the input signals are highly correlated and has a high implementation cost because many cross-correlation lags have to be computed for longer time delays. The delay estimation addressed in this paper has two major advantages over the traditional methods. The first is that it has improved performance because the input signals are processed to have less correlation. The second is that the implementation cost is significantly reduced because fewer cross-correlation lags are computed, and an efficient method to estimate lags is created. 相似文献

In revision total hip replacement the removal of the distal femoral bone cement can be a time consuming and risky operation due to the difficulty in determining the three-dimensional (3-D) boundary of the cement. We present a new approach to reconstruct the bone cement volume by using just a small number of calibrated multiplanar X-ray images. The modular system design allows the surgeon to react intraoperatively to problems arising during the individual situation. When encountering problems during conventional cement removal, the system can be used on demand to acquire a few calibrated X-ray images. After a semi-automatic segmentation and 3-D reconstruction of the cement with a deformable model, the system guides the surgeon through a free-hand navigated or robot-assisted cement removal. The experimental evaluation using plastic test implants cemented into anatomic specimen of human femoral bone has shown the potential of this method with a maximal error of 1.2 mm (0.5 mm RMS) for the distal cement based on just 4-5 multiplanar X-ray images. A first test of the complete system, comparing the 3-D-reconstruction with a computed tompgraphy data set, confirmed these results with a mean error about 1 mm. 相似文献

With the fast development of visual noise-shaping related applications (visual compression, error resilience, watermarking, encryption, and display), there is an increasingly significant demand on incorporating perceptual characteristics into these applications for improved performance. In this paper, a very important mechanism of the human brain, visual attention, is introduced for visual sensitivity and visual quality evaluation. Based upon the analysis, a new numerical measure for visual attention's modulatory aftereffects, perceptual quality significance map (PQSM), is proposed. To a certain extent, the PQSM reflects the processing ability of the human brain on local visual contents statistically. The PQSM is generated with the integration of local perceptual stimuli from color contrast, texture contrast, motion, as well as cognitive features (skin color and face in this study). Experimental results with subjective viewing demonstrate the performance improvement on two PQSM-modulated visual sensitivity models and two PQSM-based visual quality metrics. 相似文献

A 4-MB L2 data cache was implemented for a 64-bit 1.6-GHz SPARC(r) RISC microprocessor. Static sense amplifiers were used in the SRAM arrays and for global data repeaters, resulting in robust and flexible timing operation. Elimination of the global clock grid over the SRAM array saves power, enabled by combining the clock information with array select signals. Redundancy was implemented flexibly, with shift circuits outside the main data array for area efficiency. 土壤是人类生存的基础,是对地遥感图像上反映的最重要的环境信息,也是研究其他环境要素的基础,因此对于土壤特性的研究具有十分重要的意义.目前关于土壤在2π空间内的偏振热辐射特性的研究较少.本文对土壤的偏振辐射亮度进行了测量.结果表明,不同探测角、不同土壤类型的偏振辐射亮度不同.在探测角为60°时,对土壤偏振辐射亮度的研究效果较显著.随着方位角的改变,土壤的偏振辐射亮度会发生改变.在0 °~240 °范围内,随着方位角的增大,偏振辐射亮度呈现上升趋势,而在240° ~320°范围内,则呈现下降趋势.波段的变化会引起土壤的偏振辐射亮度值的改变,表现为CH1>CH3>CH4>CH2.偏振角对土壤的偏振辐射亮度值会产生一定的影响,但波动较为平缓.土壤类型不同,偏振辐射亮度不同,对各因素的响应程度也不相同. 相似文献
