This paper presents an online fault diagnosis algorithm for wireless sensor networks. This work explicitly takes into account the possibility of faults in different sections of sensor networks and communication channel. The diagnostic local view is obtained by exploiting the spatially correlated sensor measurements. These local views are then disseminated using a spanning tree of cluster heads. Our algorithm is shown to be energy efficient as it works in conjunction with the normal network activities and requires minimum additional diagnostic messages to be exchanged. Simulation results show that the performance of our algorithm is less sensitive to the average node degree for a wide range of fault rates. 相似文献

The article studies age related variations of speech characteristics of two age groups, in the Bengali language. The study considers 60 speakers in the each age groups, 60–80 years and 20–40 years, respectively. We have considered different voice source features like fundamental frequency, formant frequencies, jitter, shimmer and harmonic to noise ratio. Cepstral domain feature, Mel Frequency Cepstral coefficients (MFCC) of different voiced Bengali vowels are also analyzed for younger and older adult groups. MFCC feature and Hidden Markov model parameter of different voiced vowels are used to study phoneme dissimilarities measure between two age groups. Age related changes in elderly speech affect the automatic speech recognition performance as was observed in our study, raising the need for specific acoustic models for elderly persons. 相似文献

Photoinduced charge separation in bulk heterojunction solar cells is studied using a series of thiazolo‐thiazole donor polymers that differ in their side groups (and bridging atoms) blended with two acceptor fullerenes, phenyl‐C71‐butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) and a fullerene indene‐C60 bisadduct (ICBA). Transient absorption spectroscopy is used to determine the yields and lifetimes of photogenerated charge carriers, complimented by cyclic voltammetry studies of materials energetics, wide angle X‐ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy studies of neat and blend film crystallinity and photoluminescence quenching studies of polymer/fullerene phase segregation, and the correlation of these measurements with device photocurrents. Good correlation between the initial polaron yield and the energetic driving force driving charge separation, ΔECS is observed. All blend films exhibit a power law transient absorption decay phase assigned to non‐geminate recombination of dissociated charges; the amplitude of this power law decay phase shows excellent correlation with photocurrent density in the devices. Furthermore, for films of one (relatively amorphous) donor polymer blended with ICBA, we observe an additional 100 ns geminate recombination phase. The implications of the observations reported are discussed in terms of the role of materials' crystallinity in influencing charge dissociation in such devices, and thus materials design requirements for efficient solar cell function. 相似文献

3,6-diarylcarbazole derivatives, 3,6-di-(p-cyanophenyl)-N-hexylcarbazole (CNHC) and 3,6-di-(p-acetylphenyl)-N-hexylcarbazole (ANHC) were synthesized, characterized and energy levels determined. Steady state fluorescence of these molecules showed blue emission in thin films. Blends of these molecules with N,N′-diphenyl-N,N′-(bis(3-methylphenyl)-1,1′-biphenyl-4,4′-diamine (TPD) showed exciplex emission as the dominant one. Single layer organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) of CNHC, ANHC and their blends with TPD were fabricated using ITO as anode and Ca as cathode. The blend film devices showed pure exciplex electroluminescence. 相似文献

The problem of image object extraction in the framework of rough sets and granular computing is addressed. A measure called “rough entropy of image” is defined based on the concept of image granules. Its maximization results in minimization of roughness in both object and background regions; thereby determining the threshold of partitioning. Spoken term detection (STD) provides an efficient means for content based indexing of speech. However, achieving high detection performance, faster speed, detecting ot-of-vocabulary (OOV) words and performing STD on low resource languages are some of the major research challenges. The paper provides a comprehensive survey of the important approaches in the area of STD and their addressing of the challenges mentioned above. The review provides a classification of these approaches, highlights their advantages and limitations and discusses their context of usage. It also performs an analysis of the various approaches in terms of detection accuracy, storage requirements and execution time. The concept for a new and simple fiber-optic liquid level sensor is presented and experimental results are shown to demonstrate the principle. The sensing principle is based on light intensity modulation when rising and falling mode of liquid level causes coupling optical path distance variation between two optical fibers. Near continuous mode of liquid level variation could be monitored with resolution as low as 1 mm can be measured in the length scale of 25 cm. 相似文献
