The issue of bifurcation control for a delayed fractional network involving two neurons is concerned. Delay-dependent stability conditions and the bifurcation point are established by discussing the associated characteristic equation of the proposed network. Then, a delayed feedback controller is firstly designed to stabilize the Hopf bifurcation, and desirable dynamics is achieved. It is indicated that the designed controller is extremely effective which can postpone the onset of bifurcation by carefully selecting the feedback gain. Finally, simulation results are given to verify the efficiency of the theoretical results.  相似文献

We describe a new segmentation method of dynamic nuclear medicine images based on the cross-Psi(B)-energy operator. Psi(B) is a nonlinear measure which quantifies the interaction between two time-signals including their first and second derivatives. Similarity measure, noted SimilB, between the time activity curve (TAC) of each pixel and the mean value of the TACs of a reference region of the scintigraphic image series is calculated. The resulting SimilB map is a functional image representing regions with different temporal dynamics. Some new properties of Psi(B) are presented. Particularly, we show that Psi(B) as a similarity measure is robust to both scale and time shift. The proposed method is applied to nuclear cardiac sequences for visualization and analysis of the ventricular emptying pattern, which may be useful in studying motion or conduction abnormalities. Results of a normal subject and four patients with abnormal ventricular contraction patterns are presented to highlight the suitability of this operator for studying non-stationary TAC series.  相似文献

A computational methodology for the simulation of the transient aeroelastic response of an unrestrained and flexible aircraft during high-G maneuvers is presented. The key components of this methodology are: (a) a three-field formulation for coupled fluid/structure interaction problems; (b) a second-order time-accurate and geometrically conservative flow solver for CFD computations on unstructured dynamic meshes; (c) a corotational finite element method for the solution of geometrically nonlinear and unrestrained structural dynamics problems; (d) a robust method for updating an unrestrained and unstructured moving fluid mesh; and (e) a second-order time-accurate staggered algorithm for time-integrating the coupled fluid/structure semi-discrete equations of motion. This computational methodology is illustrated with the simulation on a parallel processor of several three-dimensional high-G pullup maneuvers of the Langley Fighter in the transonic regime, using a detailed finite element aeroelastic model.  相似文献

Recently, a discontinuous Galerkin method with plane wave basis functions and Lagrange multiplier degrees of freedom was proposed for the efficient solution of Helmholtz problems in the mid‐frequency regime. In this paper, this method is extended to higher‐order elements. Performance results obtained for various two‐dimensional problems highlight the advantages of these elements over classical higher‐order Galerkin elements such as Q2 and Q4 for the discretization of interior and exterior Helmholtz problems. Medium‐frequency regime and multi‐scale wave propagation problems have been a subject of active research in computational acoustics recently. New techniques have attempted to overcome the limitations of existing discretization methods that tend to suffer from dispersion. One such technique, the discontinuous enrichment method, incorporates features of the governing partial differential equation in the approximation, in particular, the solutions of the homogeneous form of the equation. Here, based on this concept and by extension of a conventional space–time finite element method, a hybrid discontinuous Galerkin method (DGM) for the numerical solution of transient problems governed by the wave equation in two and three spatial dimensions is described. The discontinuous formulation in both space and time enables the use of solutions to the homogeneous wave equation in the approximation. In this contribution, within each finite element, the solutions in the form of polynomial waves are employed. The continuity of these polynomial waves is weakly enforced through suitably chosen Lagrange multipliers. Results for two‐dimensional and three‐dimensional problems, in both low‐frequency and medium‐frequency regimes, show that the proposed DGM outperforms the conventional space–time finite element method. A roofing contractor typically needs to acquire as-built dimensions of a roof structure several times over the course of its build because a structure is never built to the exact drawing dimensions. In the construction phase and in order to digitally fabricate sheet metal roof panels, the contractor has to measure end-to-end dimensions of boundaries of every roof plane with a certain level of accuracy (i.e., errors less than ±2 cm). This is necessary to be able to cut sheet metal coil such that different pieces perfectly fit together. Obtaining these measurements using the exiting roof surveying methods could be costly in terms of equipment, labor, and/or worker exposure to safety hazards. This paper presents a video-based surveying framework as an alternative method which is simple to use, automated, less expensive, and safe. When using this framework, the contractor collects video streams with a calibrated stereo camera set. The captured data is processed to automatically generate a 3D wire-diagram of the target roof. Measurements from the wire-diagram are saved in a digital file (XML format) which could be loaded into an on-site sheet metal folding and cutting machine. Experimental analyses demonstrate applicability of the proposed framework.  相似文献

Benzoxazinone 2 was prepared and reacted with formamide,acetamide,some primary aromatic amines and heterocyclic amines giving the corresponding quinazolone derivatives 3-15 respectively.The reaction of benzoxazinone 2 with hydrazine hydrate and phenyl hydrazine was also studied.Representative compounds of the synthesized products were evaluated as antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors for gasoline engine lubricating oil.The highest antioxidant activities were obtained with compounds 10-15.The optimum concentration recommended for these new additives was found to be 0.lg for 1L ofoil for compounds 13-15.In addition,some of the highly effective antioxidant additives,namely 10-15,were thermally analyzed by using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal gravimetric analysis (DTGA) techniques and the results indicated that compounds are thermally stable and could be used under thermal conditions.Moreover,a comparison of the oxidation stability between the tested oil containing the prepared products and lubricating oil containing commercial additives was also studied.  相似文献

Brown tumors (BTs) are relatively uncommon but they are serious complications of renal osteodystrophy. The objective of this study was to analyze the clinical, biological, and radiological characteristics of 16 patients with BTs provoked by secondary hyperparathyroidism (sHPT) and its response to the decrease in parathyroid hormone levels after parathyroidectomy (PTX). The management of that uncommon condition was also reviewed. We conducted a retrospective study including 16 end‐stage renal disease patients who underwent subtotal PTX between 1997 and 2007 for severe sHPT with BTs. Our study included 10 men and 6 women, whose average age was 34 years. All patients were on dialysis. Ten of them were on dialysis for more than 5 years. The median duration on dialysis was 84 months. Patients included suffered from swellings associated with functional limitations. BTs had multiple locations in 7 patients. Jaw was the most frequent location (62%). Radiography and tomodensitometry demonstrated a mixed radio lucent and radio‐opaque lesions with an expansion of the cortical bone. Bone scan demonstrated an increased uptake of lesions. Chirurgical treatment was indicated in all cases because of severe refractory sHPT with functional limitations and/or disfiguring deformities. In all cases, BTs stopped its progression and even decreased in size. However, it was insufficient in four cases, which required a surgical resection. PTX remains an efficacious approach in resistant cases of sHPT with persistent BTs.  相似文献

Because of the major limitations in drinking water resources, the industries need to use unprocessed water sources for their cooling systems; these water resources contain major amount of hardening cations. So, mineral scales are formed in cooling water systems during the time and cause major problems. The use of green anti-scaling materials such as carboxylic acids is considered due to their low risks of environmental pollution. In the present work, the scale inhibition performance of tartaric acid as a green organic material was evaluated. Chemical screening tests, cathodic and anodic voltammetry measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy-dispersive x-ray and x-ray diffraction, were used for the evaluation of the scale inhibition performance. The results showed that tartaric acid can prevent calcium carbonate precipitation significantly. The hard water solution with 2.0 mM of tartaric acid indicated the highest scale inhibition efficiency (ca. 68%). The voltammetry, EIS and FESEM results verified that tartaric acid can form smooth and homogeneous film on steel surface through formation of Fe(III)-tartrate complexes and retard the local precipitation of calcium carbonate deposits.  相似文献
