Bestimmung von Cyclamat in komplexer Matrix mittels HPLC nach Vors?ulenderivatisierung mit 4-Fluoro-7-nitrobenzofurazon

Zusammenfassung Es wird ein Analysenverfahren zur Bestimmung von Cyclamat in komplex aufgebauten Lebensmitteln vorgestellt. Dieses gelingt auch in Lebensmitteln, die stark gefärbt sind oder viel Eiweiß enthalten. Die Bestimmung beruht auf der Oxidation des Cyclamates zum Cyclohexylamin und anschließender Derivatisierung mit 4-Fluoro-7-Nitrobenzofurazon (NBD-F) und HPLC-Analyse an C-18-Umkehrphase. Die erhaltenen Derivate sind mindestens 12 h stabil und werden mittels VIS-Absorptionsdetektion bei 490 nm oder mittels Fluorescenz bei Anregung 485 nm und Emission bei 530 nm detektiert. Die Nachweisgrenze liegt bei 5 mg/kg Probe, bzw. 0,4 mg/kg Probe bei der Fluorescenzdetektion. Die Wiederfindungen liegen zwischen 88% und 104%.

Determination of cyclamate in complex foodstuffs after derivatisation with 4-fluoro-7-nitrobenzofuran

Summary A method for the analysis of cyclamate in complex foodstuffs has been developed. This method is applicable in strongly coloured and protein-rich foodstuffs. The quantitative determination depends on oxidation of cyclamate to cyclohexylamine and derivatisation with 4-fluoro-7-nitrobenzofuran (NBD-F). The derivatives are analysed by HPLC on a C18: reversed-phase column, their minimal stability being 12 h. There are two possible methods of detection: (a) absorbance at 485 nm and (b) fluorescence with excication at 485 nm and emission at 530 nm. The detection limit of cyclamate is 5 mg/kg foodstuff, with fluorescence detection 0.4 mg/kg. The recoveries are in the range of 88% to 104%.

     

Response of a rotating finite annular liquid layer to axial excitation

A solidly rotating finite annular liquid layer consisting of nonviscous liquid is subjected to axial harmonic excitation in a zerogravity environment. The response of the free liquid surface elevation and the velocity in radial and axial direction have been determined in the elliptic forcing frequency range Ω>2Ω₀ and in the hyperbolic range Ω>2Ω₀ for different diameter ratios.     

Studies on cationic copolymerization of α-Methylstyrene and indene

Summary -Methylstyrene (MS) and indene (In) have been copolymerized in methylene chloride diluent using trityl ion salts, boron trifluoride methyl etherate, and trifluoroacetic acid as catalysts. Rate constants of homopolymerization of both monomers, copolymerization parameters (CPP) and individual rate constants (IRC) of binary first order copolymerization have been determined. The rate constants of trityl ion consumption in the presence of the monomers are qualitative measures of initiation rates. An interpretation of the differences of monomer reactivity in homopolymerization and copolymerization selectivity is proposed.
