Indium oxide (In2O3) thin films are successfully deposited on glass substrate at different deposition times by an ultrasonic spray technique using Indium chloride as the precursor solution; the physical properties of these films are characterized by XRD, SEM, and UV-visible. XRD analysis showed that the films are polycrystalline in nature having a cubic crystal structure and symmetry space group Ia3 with a preferred grain orientation along the (222) plane when the deposition time changes from 4 to 10 min, but when the deposition time equals 13 min we found that the majority of grains preferred the (400) plane. The surface morphology of the In2O3 thin films revealed that the shape of grains changes with the change of the preferential growth orientation. The transmittance improvement of In2O3 films was closely related to the good crystalline quality of the films. The optical gap energy is found to increase from 3.46 to 3.79 eV with the increasing of deposition time from 4 to 13 min. The film thickness was varied between 395 and 725 nm. The film grown at 13 min is found to exhibit low resistivity (10-2 Ω·cm), and relatively high transmittance (~ 93%).  相似文献

Empirical mode decomposition (EMD) has been widely applied to analyze vibration signals behavior for bearing failures detection. Vibration signals are almost always non-stationary since bearings are inherently dynamic (e.g., speed and load condition change over time). By using EMD, the complicated non-stationary vibration signal is decomposed into a number of stationary intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) based on the local characteristic time scale of the signal. Bi-spectrum, a third-order statistic, helps to identify phase coupling effects, the bi-spectrum is theoretically zero for Gaussian noise and it is flat for non-Gaussian white noise, consequently the bi-spectrum analysis is insensitive to random noise, which are useful for detecting faults in induction machines. Utilizing the advantages of EMD and bi-spectrum, this article proposes a joint method for detecting such faults, called bi-spectrum based EMD (BSEMD). First, original vibration signals collected from accelerometers are decomposed by EMD and a set of IMFs is produced. Then, the IMF signals are analyzed via bi-spectrum to detect outer race bearing defects. The procedure is illustrated with the experimental bearing vibration data. The experimental results show that BSEMD techniques can effectively diagnosis bearing failures.  相似文献

In this work, some physical properties (hardness, friability, disintegration time and erosion) of food tablets containing various food powders obtained from dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.), spirulina (Spirulina sp.) and oranges (juice and zest) were investigated. Also, experimental data related to the release kinetic of phycocyanin (antioxidant substance of spirulina) into different liquid mediums correctly fit the Korsmeyer-Peppas model since the coefficient of determination R2 ranged from 0.84 (HCl 0.1 N solution) to 0.98 (distilled water). So, the date and spirulina powder-based food tablets could be of various uses: 1) consumption as such by all categories of consumers, 2) feeding of patients for whom it is difficult to chew or swallow food, knowing that these tablets can be either sucked or swallowed, and 3) as natural and cheap drug delivery carriers.  相似文献

We report a case of pleuroparietal lipoma discovered fortuitously. Despite the small size, the diagnosis was obtained with computed tomography using a rigorous protocol demonstrating a negative density corresponding to fat tissue. A series of slices sufficiently thin to avoid a partial volume effect was required to obtain reliable measurements. In case of doubt, magnetic resonance imaging would be indicated.  相似文献

Three types of trap for catching adult Prostephanus truncatus (Horn) were tested in maize fields in Tanzania; a pitfall trap, a “delta” trap and a funnel-shaped flight trap. All traps were baited with a polyethylene vial containing a mixture of trunc-call 1 and trunc-call 2 in the ratio of 1:4 by weight. All three types of trap successfully caught adult P. truncatus but in three separate trials at different locations. the delta and funnel traps caught more than the pitfall trap. It was concluded that the adult beetles fly directly to a source of pheromone, and the most effective trap design is one that catches the flying beetle, and not one that requires the beetle to walk into it.  相似文献

The combustion synthesis of TiC, using the thermal explosion mode, was investigated by varying some of the process parameters including the reactant particle size, the pre-compaction pressure, and the heating rate. Based on these observations, a combustion model for the reaction was developed. When iron was added to titanium and carbon black powders, the ignition temperature was dictated by the eutectic temperature of the Fe-Ti system. Iron acted as a moderator for the reaction and led to a decrease in the combustion temperature.  相似文献

The fruits of two plants from Algeria (Quercus and Pistacia lentiscus) were investigated. The paper reports the chemical characteristics and the fatty acid composition of the oil extracts from the fruits. The black fruits of P. lentiscus has the highest crude fat of 32.8%, followed by the red fruits with 11.7%, and the lowest value of 9% in Quercus (acorn). The acid value was highest in red fruits of P. lentiscus oil (24.0 mg KOH/g), followed by the black fruits oil and lowest in acorn oil. The relatively high iodine value in the oils indicates the presence of many unsaturated bonds. Saponification value was highest in the Quercus ilex oil (166.7 mg KOH/g), while the lowest value was in the black fruits of P. lentiscus oil. Gas-liquid chromatography revealed that the three dominant fatty acids found are: palmitic C16:0 (16.3–19.5%), oleic C18:1 (55.3–64.9%), linoleic C18:2 (17.6–28.4%). The oils contain an appreciable amount of unsaturated fatty acids (78.8–83.5%).  相似文献

In this study, Co(ss)/WSi2-CoWSi nanocomposite was synthesized via mechanical alloying and heat treatment. In order to fabricate bulk composite, 50-h-milled powders were cold pressed and subsequently sintered at 1150 °C for 4 h in Ar atmosphere. Phase development and structural changes were investigated by x-ray diffraction technique and scanning electron microscopy. After various milling times, the powders were investigated by differential thermal analysis and microhardness measurements. The starting powder mixture has two allotropic structures of Co (fcc and hcp). After 10-h milling, an allotropic transformation takes place in Co (fcc to hcp), and a composite microstructure consisting of cold-welded Co, W, and Si phases is formed. After 20 h, new peaks related to WSi2 appeared in x-ray diffractograms. Increasing milling time to 50 h caused the formation of (Co, W, and Si) solid solution, WSi2, and CoWSi phases. DTA analysis of 30- and 50-h-milled powders confirmed an increase in the degree of ordering. The 50-h-milled powders exhibited high microhardness value of about 1050 HV0.1. XRD result of sintered material demonstrated that only ordered Co(ss)/WSi2-CoWSi nanostructured composite is present. Consolidated sample showed 12% porosity. Nanoindentation results showed that the sintered composite an exhibited a high hardness of 700 HV0.1 with an elastic modulus of 107 GPa.  相似文献
