We report the 59Co-NMR observation by spin-echo method at pulsed high magnetic fields up to 48 T. The 22 mm bore-resistive coil magnet with an inductance of 7.59 mH has a total time duration of 50 ms. After discharging the capacitor bank, NMR signals were observed near the maximum field. By repeatedly pulsing the RF sequence around the maximum field, spin echoes at different fields were recorded to give the NMR spectrum. 相似文献

A new variable quench pressure relief valve (VQRV) for a superconducting magnet system has been developed at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). The VQRV is designed that the setting of the blowout pressure can be freely controlled and be maintenance-free for long-term operation.A prototype VQRV was tested under a high radiation environment up to 2.5 MGy. The heat load of 1.5 W at 4.2 K and a seat leakage rate of 4.5 × 10−7 kg/s at 4.2 K of the VQRV were confirmed. It has enough performances for the cryogenic system operation in the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC) neutrino beam line.The design and test results of the VQRV are described in this technical note. 相似文献

Brown algae contain soluble polysaccharides, such as alginic acid, fucoidan and laminaran. To assess the induction of dietary fiber-fermenting bacteria in the intestine, rats were fed diet containing no dietary fiber (control) or 2% w/w of the polysaccharides for 2 weeks. The levels of dietary fiber-fermenting bacteria in caecal contents were determined using decimal dilution culture containing 1% w/v of the fibers. Caecal microbiota in the rats was analyzed using polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE). In the culture method, 4–9 log viable cells/g caecal content of alginate-fermenting bacteria was detected in rats fed alginate, while this was not detected in rats fed the control diet. Although laminaran-fermenting bacteria were detected in control rats (4–9 log viable cells/g), the level observed in rats fed laminaran was 8 or 9 log viable cells/g. On the other hand, fucoidan-fermenting bacteria were not detected in rats fed fucoidan. DGGE analysis showed laminaran administration increased the diversity of bacterial bands. Clostridium spp. and Parabacteroides distasonis were detected as typical species in rats fed alginate and laminaran. The results indicate that the intake of soluble fermentable fibers in edible brown algae can alter the intestinal microbiota and its fermentation capacity. 相似文献

Ochratoxin A (OTA), ochratoxin B (OTB) and citrinin (CIT) in commercial foods were simultaneously determined and confirmed with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). The samples examined were made up of cereal, fruit, coffee, and cacao products. The limits of quantification (S/N> or =10) of OTA, OTB and CIT were 0.1 microg/kg or less. Aflatoxins (AF), deoxynivalenol (DON) and fumonisins were also surveyed. Of 157 samples examined, 44 were contaminated with OTA at levels of 0.11 to 4.0 microg/kg. At least 2 positive samples were labeled as domestics. In most positive samples, the OTA level was low, less than 1 microg/kg. The highest incidence of OTA was observed in cacao powder (10/12), followed by instant coffee (5/7), cocoa (5/8) and raisin (6/13). OTB was found in fruit and cacao products containing relatively high levels of OTA. Co-occurrence of OTA, CIT and DON was found in cereal products, and co-occurrence of OTA and AF was found in cacao products. The growth and ammonium uptake of the aerial microalga Coelastrella striolata var. multistriata, which was isolated from the surface of rocks, were characterized in this study. The specific growth rate of the alga was mu=0.3 d(-1), as calculated in the growth logarithmic phase. The algal cells were able to remove almost 100% of the ammonium ions from medium in 5 d, with the removal rate of ammonium-N being 0.4 mg/l/h. It was shown that the alga has a unique ability to be a reddish orange to green color depending on the nitrogen source concentration in the medium. Astaxanthin, adonixanthin, canthaxanthin, and beta-carotene were found in the reddish orange cells of the alga. The assessment of water pollution was attempted using this aerial microalga. When the reddish orange alga was incubated in the experimental medium with added ammonium-, nitrate-, or urea-N as a nitrogen source, an approximately linear relationship existed between the nitrogen concentration and chlorophyll formation. Using the chlorophyll formation of the alga, for example, it was possible to estimate spectrophotometrically the total nitrogen content in water collected from aquatic systems. Biofunctional materials for environmental biomonitoring using photosynthetic microorganisms are called green devices in this study. 相似文献
