We studied energy transfer between rhodamine B molecules centered in each corn-shaped dendrons that forms self-assembled monolayer (SAM) film on an Au substrate. A SAM film using dendron moiety as a spacer can change the distance between rhodamines depending on the size, so that the energy transfer from an initially photo-excited rhodamine to its surrounding molecules can be controlled. The absorption spectrum of a SAM film for each generation of dendron was measured to ascertain a linear correlation between the generation and the distance. Picosecond time-resolved fluorescence spectra showed clear differences in the fluorescence decay dynamics between third-generation (G3) and fourth-generation (G4) dendron SAM films. In addition, we found that “dry” or “wet” dendron SAM considerably influenced fluorescence behavior. As a result, the use of “wet” G4 SAM is suitable in preserving photo-excitation energy. This is because it gave almost equal dynamics to G4 dendron in the dilute solution and prevented deactivation by energy dissipation.  相似文献

The respective influences of calcination, drying methods, and washing conditions on the morphologies, surface properties, and photocatalytic activities of TiO2 powders prepared from acid treatments of BaTiO3 were investigated. Rutile powder was obtained using the treatment under strong acid conditions. It possesses a bundle-like shape and comprises rutile nanorods. After calcination, characteristic voids were observed in the particles. Anatase powder was obtained by adjusting pH values of a BaTiO3 suspension to 2.5-3. Drying at 110 °C engendered the formation of spheroidal anatase, although freeze-dried anatase particles assembled into a flake-like shape. The freeze-dried samples show lower crystallinity. With grafting Cu ions, rutile exhibited better photocatalytic performance for the decomposition of gaseous 2-propanol (IPA) under visible light, although it did not work effectively for anatase.  相似文献

Recently, there has been abundant research using multineuron recording, but there are many problems with extracting the features from the obtained spike time series, which are huge in volume and complex. Here we introduce a new method of estimating synaptic connection strengths between neurons by fitting to the Izhikevich model by maximum likelihood estimation. We demonstrate that our method can estimate connection strengths from spike time series given by a simulated neural ensemble and can estimate nonconnectivity between two independent cultured neuronal networks. These results suggest that our method is applicable to network and plasticity analysis of neuronal networks.  相似文献

The effects of processing and cooking on the levels of pesticide residues in soybean samples were investigated for 14 pesticides in pre-harvest samples. On soaking, the transfer ratios (%, total pesticide residue amount in product/that in soybean) of soaked soybean were greater than 60% for most of the pesticides investigated. The transfer ratio of soymilk ranged from 37% to 92%, and that of tofu ranged from 7% to 63%. The processing factor (Pf, the concentration (mg/kg) of pesticide in product/that in soybean) of tofu ranged from 0.026 to 0.28. These values varied among pesticides. There was a high correlation between the log P(ow) and the transfer ratio of tofu. The test described here should be useful to obtain the transfer ratios of pesticide residues in processing and/or cooking steps.  相似文献

Distribution, characteristics, and global inventory of dioxins (polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins [PCDDs] and dibenzofurans [PCDFs] and dioxin like polychlorinated biphenyls) in kaolin clays collected from 10 countries were investigated. Dioxins were found in all kaolin clay samples analyzed, at total concentrations ranging from 1.2 pg/g (Brazil) to 520,000 pg/g (USA). Dioxin concentrations in kaolin clays from a few countries (e.g., Brazil and UK) were lower than those reported for background soils in Japan. Dioxin profiles in kaolin clays were characterized by the domination of the congener octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (OCDD), and the concentrations of other congeners decreased in the order of reduction in the levels of chlorination. Furthermore, specific distribution of congeners, with predominant proportions of 1,4,6,9-substituted PCDDs within each homologue group, was found in most clay samples. The ratios of concentrations of PCDD to PCDF and 1,2,3,7,8,9-HxCDD to 1,2,3,6,7,8-HxCDD indicated differences in the profiles found for anthropogenic sources (including pentachlorophenol) and kaolin clays. Concentrations of PCDD/Fs in kaolin clays, except for American ball clays, did not exceed the environmental criteria set by the Law Concerning Special Measures against Dioxins in Japan. Based on the average concentrations measured in our study, inventories of PCDD/Fs from the production/usage of ball clays on a global scale were estimated to be 650 kg/yr; the corresponding value on a TEQ basis is 2400 g-TEQ/yr. More than 480 kg of OCDD is estimated to be released annually from the production of kaolin clays worldwide, suggesting that kaolin clays can be a major contributor for additional source of dioxins, especially OCDD, in the environment.  相似文献

The activity of Rh/CeO2 for NO reduction by C3H6 was gradually deceased by mixing with ZrO2 until 68 mol%. Rh supported on CeO2–ZrO2 with higher OSC was found to show lower catalytic activity. High OSC of CeO2–ZrO2 would probably stabilize the surface of Rh in oxidized state, resulting in low activity and low efficiency of C3H6 utilization for NO reduction. In situ FT-IR spectroscopy suggested that mononitrosyl species such as Rh(NO)δ? and Rh(NO)δ+ are reaction intermediates in the NO–C3H6–O2 reaction over Rh/CeO2–ZrO2 catalysts.  相似文献

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of large argon clusters impacting on silicon solid targets were performed in order to study the transient process of crater formation and sputtering. The MD simulations demonstrate that the initial momentum of incident cluster is transferred to target surface atoms through multiple collision mechanism, where the initial momentum, which is along to the surface normal before impact, is deflected to lateral direction. This momentum transfer process was analyzed by the calculation of the velocity at the crater edge (the interface between cluster and target). In the case of Ar1000 cluster impact on Si(1 0 0) target at low energy per atom less than 40 eV/atom, the maximum value of lateral velocity of the crater edge increases in proportional to the velocity of incident cluster atoms. On the other hand, the crater edge velocity saturates over 40 eV/atom of incident energy per atom. In this case, the whole of constituent cluster atoms are implanted into the target and expand in both lateral and reflective directions at the subsurface region of the target. These MD simulations demonstrated that this collisional process result in the high yield sputtering of the target atoms.  相似文献

The soft texture of the pizza crust rim is generated by baking at a high temperature for a short period in a stone oven. In the case of baking in an electric oven, the pizza dough is baked at a much lower temperature and for a longer period, resulting in a harder texture. To improve the texture of electric oven-baked pizza crust, the effects of water and gelatinized starch on the viscoelasticity of pizza dough and the texture of pizza crust were investigated. Rheological properties (storage modulus, loss modulus, and yield stress) of pizza dough decreased with an increase in water content. When wheat flour in the dough was partially replaced with pre-gelatinized wheat starch, the rheological properties of the dough were maintained even at a high-water content. These results indicate that water-enriched dough can be prepared with gelatinized starch and baked using an electric oven. There was no significant difference in apparent density between the conventional and modified pizza crusts. Water content of the crumb part of the modified crust was significantly higher than that of the conventional crust. Texture analysis revealed that the modified pizza crust showed significantly lower stress at high strain than the conventional crust. In addition, sensory evaluation showed that the modified pizza crust exhibited greater firmness and stickiness than the conventional crust, which was attributed to the increased water content with gelatinized starch of the dough.  相似文献

This paper describes computational work to understand the unsteady flow-field of a shock wave discharging froman exit of a duct and impinging upon a flat plate.A flat plate is located downstream, and normal to the axis of theduct.The distance between the exit of the duct and fiat plate is changed.In the present study,two different ductgeometries(i.e.,square and cross section)are simulated to investigate the effect of duct geometry on theun-steady flows of a shock wave.In computation,the total variation diminishing(TVD)scheme is employed tosolve three-dimensional,unsteady,compressible,Euler equations.Computations are performed over the range ofshock Mach number from 1.05 to 1.75.Computational results can predict the three-dimensional dynamic behav-iour of the shock wave impinging upon the flat plate.The results obtained show that the pressure increase gener-ated on the plate by the shock impingement depends on the duct geometry and the distance between the duct exitand plate,as well as the shock Mach number.It is also found that for the duct with cross-section,the unsteadyloads acting on the flat plate are less,compared with the square duct.  相似文献
