The Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) project uses superconductive coils for generation of the magnetic field to keep the plasma. One of the important safety systems is the protection against quench events. The quench detection system of W7-X protects the superconducting coils, the superconducting bus bar sections and the high temperature superconductor of the current leads against the damage because of a quench and against the high stress by a fast discharge of the magnet system.Therefore, the present design of the quench detection system (QDS) uses a two-stage safety concept for discharging the magnetic system. This paper describes the present design of the system assembly from the quench detection unit (QDU) for the detection of the quench to the quench detection interface (QDI) to implement the two-stage safety concept.  相似文献

Partial Syntheses of Cardenolides and Cardenolide Analogues. XIII. Synthesis of Substituted 14,21-Epoxy-5β,14β-card-20(22)-enolide The 12-substituted 14,21-epoxy-5β,14β-card-20(22)-enolides 3 and 5 were synthesized by oxidation of the appropriate 17β-(3-furyl) derivatives 2b and 2c , respectively, with chromic acid. 5 was converted to the conjugated Δ9(11)-12-ketone 6 by dehydrogenation with selenium dioxide. Acid-catalyzed Reactions of Aromatic Hydrocarbons with Alkanes and Cycloalkanes. IX. Alkylations with 2,2,4-Trimethylpentane (Isooctane) The non-conventional alkylation of benzene, toluene, ethyl- and isopropylbenzene, fluoro- and chlorobenzene with 2,2,4-trimethylpentane in the presence of acid catalysts is described. The composition of the rather complex reaction mixtures is determined by gas-liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, tert. butylarenes being the main products beside alkylsubstituted indanes and tetralines. Their formation is interpreted as a competition between fragmentation and isomerization of the alkylating agent. By use of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid or combinations of catalysts from HF or HSO3F with variant metallic fluorides at lower temperatures the selectivity of the reaction may be partially raised.  相似文献

New Azoolefines and their Acidic cleavage to Aryldiimines 3-Amino-1-aryl-3′,3′-dimethyl-pyrazolin-4-spiro-2′-oxiran-5-ones ( 3a – c ) undergo ring opening with methoxide forming methyl 3-amino-3-arylazo-propenoates ( 5a – c ). 5a – c are cleaved under acidic conditions. The main products of the cleavage of 5c with methanolic hydrochloric acid are nitrogen, 2, 4, 6-trichloro-benzen ( 6 ), 2, 4, 6-trichloro-aniline ( 9 ) and 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenylhydrazine ( 10 ). Intermediates of the cleavage of 5 are aryldiimines trapped with benzaldehyde as the corresponding benzhydrazides ( 12a , b ).  相似文献

Monocytes expressing the inflammation suppressing active CD11b, a beta2 integrin, may regulate neuroinflammation and modify clinical outcomes in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). In this single site, retrospective study, peripheral blood mononuclear cells from 38 individuals living with ALS and 20 non-neurological controls (NNC) were investigated using flow cytometry to study active CD11b integrin classical (CM), intermediate (IM) and non-classical (NCM) monocytes during ALS progression. Seventeen ALS participants were sampled at the baseline (V1) and at two additional time points (V2 and V3) for longitudinal analysis. Active CD11b+ CM frequencies increased steeply between the baseline and V3 (ANOVA repeated measurement, p < 0.001), and the V2/V1 ratio negatively correlated with the disease progression rate, similar to higher frequencies of active CD11b+ NCM at the baseline (R = −0.6567; p = 0.0031 and R = 0.3862; p = 0.0168, respectively). CD11b NCM, clinical covariates and neurofilament light-chain plasma concentration at the baseline predicted shorter survival in a multivariable and univariate analysis (CD11b NCM—HR: 1.05, CI: 1.01–1.11, p = 0.013. Log rank: above median: 43 months and below median: 21.22 months; p = 0.0022). Blood samples with the highest frequencies of active CD11b+ IM and NCM contained the lowest concentrations of soluble CD11b. Our preliminary data suggest that the levels of active CD11b+ monocytes and NCM in the blood predict different clinical outcomes in ALS.  相似文献

Adaptive decision making requires that contingencies between decision options and their relative assets be assessed accurately and quickly. The present research addresses the challenging notion that contingencies may be more visible from small than from large samples of observations. An algorithmic account for such a seemingly paradoxical effect is offered within a satisficing-choice framework. Accordingly, a choice is only made when the sample contingency describing the relative evaluation of the 2 options exceeds a critical threshold. Small samples, because of the high dispersion of their sampling distribution, facilitate above-threshold contingencies. Across a broad range of parameters, the resulting small-sample advantage in terms of hits is stronger than their disadvantage in false alarms. Computer simulations and experiments support the model predictions. The relative advantage of small samples is most apparent when information loss is low, when the threshold is high relative to the ecological contingency, and when the sampling process is self-truncated.
