ABSTRACTLevels of lead, cadmium, mercury, copper and zinc elements in feedstuffs were measured by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. A total of 216 feedstuffs samples including corn silage, alfalfa hay, wheat straw, full ration pellet, wheat bran and barley were collected from polluted and unpolluted regions during four seasons and prepared with wet digestion. Lead and mercury concentrations did not differ significantly in various feedstuffs, but cadmium level was significantly the highest in barley samples (p < 0.05). All feed material samples had lead, cadmium and mercury concentrations well below the maximum levels allowed by the European Union. The lowest and highest levels of both copper and zinc were found in wheat straw and wheat bran, respectively, but their maximum content did not exceed the legal limits. In contrast to the sampling area, season significantly (P < 0.05) affected heavy metal levels, except for zinc, in feedstuffs. 相似文献

This paper focuses on the implementation of table‐based models of high‐frequency transistors for time‐domain simulators at microwave and mm‐wave frequencies. In this frequency range, the channel is not capable of responding to the excitation instantaneously therefore, a delay‐time exists between the channel response and the channel excitation. This delay is represented by a complex trans‐conductance in terms of circuit elements. The high‐frequency models of transistors are required to have the implementation of complex trans‐conductance, where the complex part accounts mathematically for the delay‐time between the channel response and the channel excitation. This paper presents simple and accurate approaches to incorporate the complex trans‐conductance in both small‐signal and large‐signal table‐based models for time‐domain simulators (MOS‐AK International Meeting. Eindhoven, Netherlands, April 2008). Implementation approach for each model, small‐signal and large‐signal, is presented in separated sections. In the first step, the delay is realized by the introduction of an ideal transmission line between the channel excitation and the channel response. As transmission lines are not generally suitable for time‐domain simulations, a lumped element equivalent network is introduced in the second step. The latter approach is fully compatible with time‐domain simulators but frequency limitation, determined by the delay‐time value itself, is introduced. Then the implementation of the complex trans‐conductance in large‐signal model is introduced. In terms of large‐signal behavior, delay‐time is important to achieve a non‐quasi static model. Yet again there is limitation in terms of the frequency range that is determined by the delay value itself. The methodology is illustrated on the small‐signal and the large‐signal equivalent circuit of a Multi‐Fin MOSFET transistor. Simulations are carried out by Cadence Spectre and Agilent ADS simulators, and comparisons are carried out between the simulation results and the measurements. Background
Growing evidence indicates that ambient air pollution is associated with exacerbation of chronic diseases like chronic pulmonary disease. A prospective panel study was conducted to investigate short-term changes of blood markers of inflammation and coagulation in response to daily changes in air pollution in Erfurt, Germany. 12 clinical visits were scheduled and blood parameters were measured in 38 male patients with chronic pulmonary disease during winter 2001/2002. Additive mixed models with random patient intercept were applied, adjusting for trend, weekday, and meteorological parameters. Hourly data on ultrafine particles (UFP, 0.01-0.1 μm), accumulation mode particles (ACP, 0.1-1.0 μm), PM10 (particulate matter <10 μm in diameter), elemental (EC) and organic carbon (OC), gaseous pollutants (nitrogen monoxide [NO], nitrogen dioxide [NO2], carbon monoxide [CO], and sulphur dioxide [SO2]) were collected at a central monitoring site and meteorological data were received from an official network. For each person and visit the individual 24-hour average of pollutants immediately preceding the blood withdrawal (lag 0) up to day 5 (lag1-4) and 5-day running means were calculated.Results
Increased levels of fibrinogen were observed for an increase in one interquartile range of UFP, PM10, EC, OC, CO, and NO revealing the strongest effect for lag 3. E-selectin increased in association with ACP and PM10 with a delay of one day. The ACP effect was also seen with the 5-day-mean. The pattern found for D-dimer was inconsistent. Prothrombin fragment 1+2 decreased with lag 4 consistently for all particulate pollutants. Von Willebrand factor antigen (vWF) showed a consistent decrease in association with almost all air pollutants with all lags except for lag 0. No associations were found for C-reactive protein, soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1, serum amyloid A and factor VII.Conclusion
These results suggest that elevated concentrations of air pollution are associated with changes in some blood markers of inflammation and coagulation in patients with chronic pulmonary disease. The clinical implications of these findings need further investigation. 相似文献965.
We present a numerical design procedure for an all-optical compact sensor by means of integrating the optofluidic switch polymer interferometers to measure the microfluidic air pressure and flow rate. The design is based on a flexible air gap optical cavity that can generate an interference pattern when illuminated by a monochromatic light. The optical interference pattern directly depends on the pressure. In our numerical simulations, we take the effects of fluid flow rate, solid deformation, and the light interference into account. We use the beam propagation method for simulating the optics and the finite element method for simulating the mechanics. The significance of the proposed sensor lies with its low power consumption, compactness, low cost, and short length. This sensor can operate under pressure range of 0-60±6% Pa at a constant temperature of 20 °C. 相似文献

We present the design procedure for an ultracompact low-power all-optical modulator based on a dispersion-engineered slow-light regime in a photonic crystal Mach-Zehnder interferometer (PhC MZI), selectively infiltrated by nonlinear optical fluids. The dispersionless slow-light regime enhancing the nonlinearities enabled a 22 μm long PhC MZI to operate as a modulator with an input power as low as 3 mW/μm. Unified power flow controller (UPFC) is the most comprehensive multivariable device among the FACTS controllers. Capability of power flow control is the most important responsibility of UPFC. According to high importance of power flow control in transmission lines, the proper controller should be robust against uncertainty and disturbance and also have suitable settling time. For this purpose, a new controller is designed based on the Lyapunov theory and its stability is also evaluated. The Main goal of this paper is to design a controller which enables a power system to track reference signals precisely and to be robust in the presence of uncertainty of system parameters and disturbances. The performance of the proposed controller is simulated on a two bus test system and compared with a conventional PI controller.
