This article presents the mutual diffusion coefficients of a carbon dioxide–ionic liquid, [bmim][PF6], system at temperatures of 313.15 and 323.15 K and pressures of 5 and 8 MPa. In order to estimate the diffusion coefficients, we have carried out experiments to find time-dependent carbon dioxide solubilities in the ionic liquid and then fit a transport model to the data. In a system containing high pressure carbon dioxide and ionic liquid, carbon dioxide dissolves in the liquid until its equilibrium mole fraction is reached. During this process, the position of the liquid–vapour interface and the density of the liquid phase change. To account for the variation in liquid density, an equation fit to the experimental density data is included in the transport model. To track the moving interface, the volume-of-fluid method is used. The diffusivities at dilute concentration and at thermodynamic phase equilibrium are determined and compared with the literature values and those obtained from correlations.  相似文献

Today, various studies are carried out to spread the understanding of sustainability. The sustainability of production processes gains importance in corporate areas. In this study, the use of glass waste instead of frit used in glaze compositions in the ceramic industry was evaluated. The chemical and physical properties of glass wastes on samples were examined. The glaze formulations were prepared using 3%, 5%, and 8% by weight of glass waste instead of frit. Glass wastes were added to glaze compositions and 12 different glaze formulation studies were carried out. Transparent, Opaque, and Matte test glazes were prepared with glass waste added glaze formulations, and these glazes were applied to ceramic bodies. SEM (scanning electron microscope) analysis of standard glaze and glass waste added glazes was performed to determine the microstructural and morphological characterizations. Also, surface whiteness, brightness, L*a*b values, glaze flows, harcort test results, and final water absorption values were compared. As a result of the studies, it has been determined that it is appropriate to use 3% glass waste by weight instead of the frit in the production of ceramic tableware.  相似文献

In today's modern electric vehicles,enhancing the safety-critical cyber-physical system(CPS)'s performance is necessary for the safe maneuverability of the vehicle.As a typical CPS,the braking system is crucial for the vehicle design and safe control.However,precise state estimation of the brake pressure is desired to perform safe driving with a high degree of autonomy.In this paper,a sensorless state estimation technique of the vehicle's brake pressure is developed using a deep-learning approach.A deep neural network(DNN)is structured and trained using deep-learning training techniques,such as,dropout and rectified units.These techniques are utilized to obtain more accurate model for brake pressure state estimation applications.The proposed model is trained using real experimental training data which were collected via conducting real vehicle testing.The vehicle was attached to a chassis dynamometer while the brake pressure data were collected under random driving cycles.Based on these experimental data,the DNN is trained and the performance of the proposed state estimation approach is validated accordingly.The results demonstrate high-accuracy brake pressure state estimation with RMSE of 0.048 MPa.  相似文献

The edible oil industry is one of the largest industries in the world. In the edible oil refining process, large amounts of waste are discarded every day. Evaluation of these wastes is vital for environmental issues. Most of this waste is due to the bleaching process in which bleaching earths are largely used. Due to its high adsorption capacity, bleaching earth adsorbs oil nearly 40% of its weight. In order to evaluate this waste for oleochemical production, alcoholysis reactions were investigated. Parameters affecting the reaction, such as catalyst type and amount, alcohol type, alcohol:oil molar ratio and temperature, were investigated. The reactions were conducted in the presence of different catalysts such as NaOH, NaOCH3 and homogeneous alkali polymeric gel catalyst (HAPJEK) and performed at a temperature range of 60–78°C and in the presence of a catalyst (1–2% based on oil weight) at alcohol:oil molar ratios of 5:1–7:1. Based on optimisation by response surface methodology (RSM), the critical synthesis conditions for 210 min reaction time with a maximum of 85.8% methyl ester content were determined as temperature: 68.4°C, catalyst amount 1.5% based on oil weight and methanol/oil molar ratio: 6.4.  相似文献

Esterification of (−)-menthol and (±)-menthol with lauric acid in isooctane was successfully catalyzed by a commercial nonioic surfactant (sorbitan monosterate)-coated lipase from Candida rugosa (Lipase AY “Amano” 30) at the molar ratio of 1∶1 and at 35°C using 1.5 g enzyme/g (−)-menthol and 0.1-g molecular sieves. After 1 h, molar conversion of (−)-menthol reached 81%. Equilibrium was reached after ca. 4 h, giving a (−)-menthol molar conversion of 94%. Under the same conditions, native lipase catalyzed the esterification of (−)-menthol and lauric acid to yield a molar conversion of 93% after 72 h. Coating the lipase with sorbitan monosterate increased the esterification rates of both (−)-menthol and (±)-menthol with lauric acid. After 6 h, the molar conversions of (−)-menthol and (±)-menthol were 94, and 62%, respectively.  相似文献

To investigate the effects of Nd:YAG laser and 17% EDTA treatment on root-dentin mineral content using scanning electron microscope–energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM–EDX) and on shear-bond strength of epoxy-resin-based sealer (AH Plus) to root dentin. Twelve extracted premolars were decoronated and roots were sectioned, so that 24 two-root halves were obtained. Element levels of each half were examined by SEM/EDX, and AH Plus build-ups were created. After shear-testing, the test surfaces were reground and subjected to a 5.25% NaOCl. Two subgroups were created according to the surface treatment (n = 12): G1, with 17% EDTA for 5 min; G2, with the Nd:YAG laser. The element level analysis and shear-bond strength test were repeated for each half; the data were recorded (MPa) and analyzed (paired samples t-test). The EDTA treatment increased the O, C, Ca/P ratio (p < 0.001), decreased Ca, P content (p = 0.000), but did not change Na, Mg content (p > 0.05). The Nd:YAG laser increased O, Ca/P ratio (p < 0.001), and decreased the Ca, P content (p = 0.000). The C, Mg, Na content did not change with the Nd:YAG laser (p > 0.05). Both 17% EDTA and Nd:YAG laser had an effect on the mineral content of roots. The 17% EDTA treatment decreased the shear-bond strength of AH Plus to root dentin (p = 0.000); however, the Nd:YAG laser did not affect the bond strength (p = 0.238). Thus, an Nd:YAG laser can be used for disinfection of the root canal when AH Plus is used as a sealer.  相似文献
