In addition to the circulating renin-angiotensin system (RAS), a local system has been postulated in the anterior pituitary because immunodetection of its components in various mammalian species. However, different cell types appear to be involved in different species, and there is no general consensus on the subcellular localization of prorenin, renin and angiotensinogen. In this ultrastructural study, we investigated and quantified the presence of these components using double or triple immunogold labeling methods, in all the immunologically identified glandular cell types of the rat anterior pituitary. In contrast to previous reports, all these components were identified not only in lactotropes and gonadotropes but also in somatotropes, corticotropes, and thyrotropes. The highest levels were detected in lactotropes and gonadotropes, and renin gave the greatest signal. Angiotensinogen, prorenin, and renin were co-localized in the secretory granules of all rat pituitary glandular cell types. The simultaneous detection of the substrate (angiotensinogen) and both its specific cleavage enzyme and its proenzyme within the same granule suggests intragranular processing of this component. Moreover, the localization of these three constituents in the secretory granules also suggests that, in the rat anterior pituitary, they follow the regulated secretory pathway.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of polyglycolic acid (PGA), an absorbable (ABS) mesh, and polypropylene (PP), a nonabsorbable (NA) mesh, on intestinal adhesion formation. Altogether 72 mice were divided into a control group of 24, an ABS mesh group of 23, and an NA mesh group of 25. All three groups were divided into two subgroups for evaluation of adhesion severity at postoperative (po) days 5 and 90. Adhesion severity was measured with adhesion grading and tissue hydroxyproline (OHP) levels. Adhesion degree was minimal (1) in all subjects on day 5. Also there was no difference in tissue OHP levels between three groups on day 5 (p > 0.05). Adhesion degree and tissue OHP levels as determinants of adhesion severity were higher in the PGA mesh group than the control group and the PP mesh group on day 90 (p < 0.001). There was no difference between the control group and the PP mesh groups (p > 0.05). Adhesion degree was higher on day 90 than on day 5 in the control group and the PGA mesh group (p < 0.05), whereas tissue OHP level was higher on day 90 than on day 5 in all three groups (p < 0.001). Also there was linear correlation between adhesion degree and tissue OHP levels (r = 0.86, p < 0.001). The study demonstrates that ABS PGA mesh has higher potential for adhesion formation than the NA PP mesh, probably related to the increased foreign body and inflammatory reactions during the absorption process of the mesh.  相似文献

This article deals with the design of a control system for a quadrupedal locomotion robot. The proposed control system is composed of a leg motion controller and a gait pattern controller within a hierarchical architecture. The leg controller drives actuators at the joints of the legs using a high-gain local feedback control. It receives the command signal from the gait pattern controller. The gait pattern controller, on the other hand, involves nonlinear oscillators. These oscillators interact with each other through signals from the touch sensors located at the tips of the legs. Various gait patterns emerge through the mutual entrainment of these oscillators. As a result, the system walks stably in a wide velocity range by changing its gait patterns and limiting the increase in energy consumption of the actuators. The performance of the proposed control system is verified by numerical simulations. This paper presents an approach for the trajectory tracking control of nonholonomic wheeled mobile robots (WMR) by combining one of the existing adaptive control methods and multiple identification models. The overall system includes two types of controllers in the control scheme. A kinematic controller developed by using kinematic model produces the required linear and angular velocities of the robot for tracking a reference trajectory. These required velocities are used to calculate the torques using an adaptive dynamic controller with multiple models. The proposed method uses the multiple models of the WMR for the identification of the dynamic parameters and performs switching between the given models. The models used in the identification are identical, except for the initial estimates of the parameters. By using an adaptive dynamic controller with multiple models of the WMR, enhancement in transient response is obtained. Stability analysis of the overall system is given, and simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effective performance of the adaptive control by using multiple models approach.  相似文献

In this study, a PI‐PD controller tuning method is presented using the weighted geometrical center method, which is based on the calculation of the weighted geometric center of the stability region obtained by the stability boundary locus method. The proposed method for tuning of PI‐PD controller parameters (kd,kf,kp and ki ) is performed in three steps. In the first step, the (kd,kf) parameter region for the inner loop with PD controller is obtained, and then the weighted geometric center of this region is calculated. In the second step, the inner PD loop is reduced to a single block using the numerical values of (kd,kf) that are obtained in the first step. Then, the (kp,ki) values of the external loop with PI controller are determined by the same procedure. This tuning method has some advantages over other tuning methods in terms of simplicity and robustness. The simulation examples show that a PI‐PD controller designed using the proposed method provides good performance results when compared to other tuning methods presented in the literature.  相似文献

In this study, variation of global solar radiation reaching the Elazi region at hourly and monthly average daily periods was examined measuring daily global solar radiation between April 1994 and March 1995 by a Kipp–Zonen pyranometer. Taking the measured values as reference, the statistical performance of the three equations used in estimating the monthly average global solar radiation was investigated. Secondly, it was shown that ‘bright sunshine hours/daylength’ and its standard derivation could be used to estimate the monthly daily ‘solar radiation/extraterrestrial radiation’ by applying the maximum likelihood quadratic fit method to the data taken from the state Meteorological Office in Elazi between 1983–1994.  相似文献

Oils and fats are widely used in the food formulations in order to improve nutritional and some quality characteristics of food products. Solid fats produced from oils by hydrogenization, interesterification, and fractionation processes are widely used in different foodstuffs for these aims. In recent years, consumer awareness of relation between diet and health has increased which can cause worry about solid fat including products in terms of their high saturated fatty acid and trans fatty acid contents. Therefore, different attempts have been carried out to find alternative ways to produce solid fat with low saturated fatty acid content. One of the promising ways is using oleogels, structuring oils with oleogelators. In this review, history, raw materials and production methods of the oleogels and their functions in oleogel quality were mentioned. Moreover, studies related with oleogel usage in different products were summarized and positive and negative aspects of oleogel were also mentioned. Considering the results of the related studies, it can be concluded that oleogels can be used in the formulation of bakery products, breakfast spreads, margarines, chocolates and chocolate-derived products and some of the meat products.  相似文献

The major flavan-3-ols composition and antioxidant activity of the seeds of 12 different common grape varieties that grow in Turkey were investigated. The quantities of gallic acid, catechin, epicatechin and total flavan-3-ol were determined with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and spectrophotometric method in grape seeds extracts. Gallic acid, catechin, epicatechin and total flavan-3-ol varied from 18 to 101, 121–845, 85–893 and 4 507–13 360 mg/100 g in grape seeds, respectively. The seeds of Papaz Karası, Alicante Boushet and Kalecik Karası cultivars were good sources for these compounds among the cultivars examined. In most cultivars, the amount of epicatechin was greater than that of catechin. The cultivars that have high total flavan-3-ol content had the strongest free radical scavenging activities and results were shown that there is a highly significant correlation between the total flavan-3-ol content and antiradical efficiency (AE) (r=0.9168, P<0001).  相似文献
