Single-stage batch experiments to reveal the extraction properties of N,N,N’,N’-tetradodecyldiglycolamide (TDdDGA) for Y, La, Eu, Nd, and Am in nitric acid were carried out. The distribution ratios of Y, Eu, Nd, and Am exceeded 10 when the nitric acid concentration was 1–2 mol/dm3 (M), and the distribution ratio of La was 5.5 when the nitric acid concentration was 2 M. A continuous counter-current experiment using 0.1 M TDdDGA diluted with n-dodecane was performed using mixer-settler extractors installed in a hot cell. Nitric acid with a concentration of 2.1 M containing minor actinides (MAs: Am and Cm), rare earths (REs: Y, La, Nd, and Eu), and other fission products (Sr, Cs, Zr, Mo, Ru, Rh, and Pd) was fed to the extractor. TDdDGA effectively extracted MAs and REs from the feed, while other fission products were barely extracted. The extracted MAs and REs were back-extracted by bringing them in contact with 0.02 M nitric acid, and they were collected as the MA–RE fraction. The results indicated that more than 98% of Am and Cm in the feed were recovered in the MA–RE fraction. The proportions of Y, La, Nd, and Eu in the MA–RE fraction were 94.0%, 99.9%, 99.9%, and 86.9%, respectively.  相似文献

Asymmetric autocatalysis with amplification of enantiomeric excess is found in the enantioselective addition of diisopropylzinc to pyrimidine-5-carbaldehyde using pyrimidyl alkanol as an asymmetric autocatalyst. Asymmetric autocatalysis has been employed as a method for clarifying the origin of homochirality. Circularly polarized light, inorganic chiral crystals and statistical fluctuation of enantiomeric imbalance act as chiral initiators in asymmetric autocatalysis to afford highly enantioenriched products. We have investigated asymmetric autocatalysis using chiral crystals formed from achiral and racemic compounds as an origin of chirality. Absolute control of the crystal chirality of cytosine was achieved by the removal of crystal water. Enantioselective carbon-carbon bond formation at the enantiotopic crystal face of aldehydes was established using diisopropylzinc vapor. In addition, asymmetric autocatalysis triggered by chiral compounds arising from H, C and O isotope substitution has been achieved.  相似文献

In recent years, the number of renewable energy sources (RESs) such as photovoltaic generation systems and wind power generation systems connected to the grid has been increasing as a way of reducing negative effects on the environment. The outputs of these RESs vary rapidly because of the influence of the weather and the conditions of the location. Therefore, there are concerns that the point voltages in a distribution system may vary drastically and that the voltages may deviate from the appropriate voltage range as a result of the influence of the RES connected to the distribution system or to the diversification of loads. Furthermore, there are concerns about adverse effects on electric power quality, such as voltage imbalances and harmonics. In this paper, we propose a cooperative voltage control method for a distribution system using system voltage control equipment in order to reduce the capacity of the static synchronous compensator. Numerical calculations were performed in order to verify the validity of the proposed method.  相似文献

Previous studies on polyamide 4, excellent properties, functionalities, and biodegradation in natural condition have been shown. In this study, three-branched (star-shaped) copolyamides constituted of polyamide 4 and polyamide 6 constitutional unit were synthesized by anionic ring-opening copolymerization of 2-pyrrolidone with ε-caprolactam. The thermal and mechanical properties and the biodegradability of the obtained copolyamides have been systematically investigated. The weight-average molecular weight of the copolyamides was as high as tens of thousands (Mw 10–80 × 103 g/mol). The composition of the copolyamides was approximately in accord with the monomer feed ratio, thereby being controllable. The thermal and mechanical properties changed readily as the composition was varied (Tm 146–266°C, ΔHm 10–70 J/g, Td 278–369°C, tensile strength 28–64 MPa, elongation at break 80–750%). The copolyamide having 2-pyrrolidone unit of 96–51 mol% exhibited biodegradability by an activated sludge. The biodegradation of the copolyamide proceeded uniformly without disproportion in constitutional unit.  相似文献

In this work, the effects of αs-casein (αs-CN) on the pressure-induced aggregation of β-lactoglobulin (β-Lg) were studied. αs-CN depressed the pressure-induced aggregation of β-Lg, and this function was dependent on the concentration of αs-CN and the pressure holding time. Furthermore, αs-CN altered the aggregation process of β-Lg by suppressing the transition of the aggregate from the soluble phase to the insoluble phase and, as a result, the fraction of insoluble aggregates was decreased. During this process, αs-CN formed stable complexes with the denatured β-Lg and the formation of complexes prevented further aggregation of β-Lg and solubilized aggregated β-Lg to a small degree of polymerization. These results indicate that αs-CN exhibits a chaperone-like activity under high pressure, and provide an insight into the possible mechanism by which αs-CN accomplishes the task of stabilizing proteins to resist the pressure-induced aggregation of β-Lg.  相似文献

To simplify the labor-intensive conventional routine testing of samples to detect Leuconostoc at a meat processing plant, we developed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primers specific for Leuconostoc from 16S rRNA gene sequences. These primers did not detect other common lactic acid bacteria such as Lactobacillus plantarum, Lact. sake, Lact. fermentum, Lact. acidophilus and Weissella viridescens. PCR with this primer detected all Leuconostoc species tested (Leu. mesenteroides subsp. mesenteroides, Leu. pseudomesenteroides, Leu. carnosum, Leu. lactic, Leu. citreum, Leu. amelibiosum, Leu. gelidum), except for Leu. fallax, and no other lactic acid bacteria on agarose gel electrophoresis. The method could identify areas contaminated with Leuconostoc in a large-scale industrial meat processing plant. Of 69 samples analyzed, 34 were positive for Leuconostoc according to the conventional culture method (isolation of LAB producing dextran) and PCR, whereas 29 were negative according to both. Six samples were culture-negative but positive by PCR. No false negative results were generated by PCR. The method is rapid and simple, is useful for routinely monitoring areas contaminated with Leuconostoc in meat processing plants, and could help to prevent the spoilage of meat products.  相似文献

A simple, sensitive and selective method with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) has been developed to detect 342 pesticides and veterinary drugs contaminating bovine milk at the maximum residue limits (MRLs) defined in the "positive list system". Sample preparation was performed by extracting the analytes with acetonitrile, followed by salting-out with sodium chloride. For some pesticides, the extract was further cleaned up by n-hexane partitioning and PSA cartridge column chromatography. GC/MS-EI or -NCI was used to determine pesticide residues, while LC/MS/MS-ESI was applicable to the determination of pesticide and veterinary drug residues. The variation of the recoveries of these drugs at MRL was relatively wide; however the relative standard deviations of the recovery of each drug were within 28%, suggesting that the present method is good enough for use as a screening test for contaminants at the MRLs. These results show that this method is useful for multiresidue analysis of numerous pesticides and veterinary drugs in bovine milk.  相似文献

The inability of chlorine to completely inactivate human bacterial pathogens on whole and fresh-cut produce suggests a need for other antimicrobial washing treatments. Nisin (50 microg/ml) and pediocin (100 AU/ml) individually or in combination with sodium lactate (2%), potassium sorbate (0.02%), phytic acid (0.02%), and citric acid (10 mM) were tested as possible sanitizer treatments for reducing the population of Listeria monocytogenes on cabbage, broccoli, and mung bean sprouts. Cabbage, broccoli, and mung bean sprouts were inoculated with a five-strain cocktail of L. monocytogenes at 4.61, 4.34, and 4.67 log CFU/g, respectively. Inoculated produce was left at room temperature (25 degrees C) for up to 4 h before antimicrobial treatment. Washing treatments were applied to inoculated produce for 1 min, and surviving bacterial populations were determined. When tested alone, all compounds resulted in 2.20- to 4.35-log reductions of L. monocytogenes on mung bean, cabbage, and broccoli, respectively. The combination treatments nisin-phytic acid and nisin-pediocin-phytic acid caused significant (P < 0.05) reductions of L. monocytogenes on cabbage and broccoli but not on mung bean sprouts. Pediocin treatment alone or in combination with any of the organic acid tested was more effective in reducing L. monocytogenes populations than the nisin treatment alone. Although none of the combination treatments completely eliminated the pathogen on the produce, the results suggest that some of the treatments evaluated in this study can be used to improve the microbial safety of fresh-cut cabbage, broccoli, and mung bean sprouts.  相似文献
