In this work, we propose a finite element method for solving the linear poroelasticity equations. Both displacement and pressure are approximated by continuous piecewise polynomials. The proposed method is sequential, leading to decoupled smaller linear systems compared to the systems resulting from a fully implicit finite element approach. A priori error estimates are derived. The widespread usage of various types of computer devices with different platform characteristics created a need for new methods and tools to support the development of context-aware applications capable of dynamically adapting themselves to context changes. In this paper, we present a new model-based approach that addresses the development of context-aware applications from both the theoretical and practical perspectives and that supports all development phases of context-aware systems. On the one hand, we describe how our approach is applied to dynamically capture, observe the change of the context and notify the system at runtime. This paper investigates the problem of observer-based control for two classes of polynomial fuzzy systems with time-varying delay. The first class concerns a special case where the polynomial matrices do not depend on the estimated state variables. The second one is the general case where the polynomial matrices could depend on unmeasurable system states that will be estimated. For the last case, two design procedures are proposed. The first one gives the polynomial fuzzy controller and observer gains in two steps. In the second procedure, the designed gains are obtained using a single-step approach to overcome the drawback of a two-step procedure. The obtained conditions are presented in terms of sum of squares (SOS) which can be solved via the SOSTOOLS and a semi-definite program solver. ZnO/TiO2 composite ceramics have been prepared by solid‐state reaction technique at 900°C. The X‐ray diffraction results revealed the formation of secondary phases referred to as spinel Zn2TiO4 and hexagonal ZnTiO3. The structural analysis showed that all the composites that have been prepared have a polycrystalline nature and a hexagonal wurtzite structure. The complex modulus (M) and electric impedance of the samples have been investigated by broadband dielectric spectroscopy in a wide range of temperature (40°C‐110°C) and frequency (0.1 Hz to 10 MHz). The modulus plots (M′′, M′) illustrate the presence of non‐Debye type of relaxations attributed to the effects of interfacial and dipolar polarizations. The real and the imaginary parts of the impedance are well fitted to equivalent circuit models. At high temperatures, Z″max varies from 0.03 × 106 to 4.9 × 106 Ω when the TiO2 doping concentration increases from 1 to 7 wt%. From the obtained results, the secondary phase ZnTiO3 plays an important role in the electrical properties. 相似文献

The photogeneration of charge carriers in spin-coated thin films of nanocrystalline (nc-)TiO(2) particles dispersed in a semiconducting polymer, poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK), has been studied by photoluminescence and charge transport measurements. The solvent and the TiO(2) particle concentration have been selected to optimize the composite morphology. A large number of small domains leading to a large interface and an improved exciton dissociation could be obtained with tetrahydrofuran (THF). The charge transport mechanism and trap distribution at low and high voltage in ITO/nc-TiO(2):PVK/Al diodes in the dark could be identified by current-voltage measurements and impedance spectroscopy. The transport mechanism is space charge limited with an exponential trap distribution in the high voltage regime (1-4?V), whereas a Schottky process with a barrier height of about 0.9?eV is observed at low bias voltages (<1?V). The current-voltage characteristics under white illumination have shown a dramatic increase of the short circuit current density J(sc) and open circuit voltage V(oc) for a 30% TiO(2) volume content corresponding to the morphology exhibiting the best dispersion of TiO(2) particles. A degradation of the photovoltaic properties is induced at higher compositions by the formation of larger TiO(2) aggregates. A procedure has been developed to extract the physical parameters from the J-V characteristics in the dark and under illumination on the basis of an equivalent circuit. The variation of the solar cell parameters with the TiO(2) composition confirms that the photovoltaic response is optimum for 30% TiO(2) volume content. It is concluded that the photovoltaic properties of nc-TiO(2):PVK nanocomposites are controlled by the interfacial area between the donor and the acceptor material and are limited by the dispersion of the TiO(2) nanoparticles in the polymer. 相似文献

To develop an MRI method for the evaluation of contrast enhancement in early atherosclerotic plaque development in the abdominal aorta of a mouse model. Male apoE–/– mice from three groups, respectively 4 (n = 6), 8 (n = 11) and 16 (n = 4) weeks were included. Axial T1 spin echo images of the abdominal aorta were obtained above and below the renal arteries (90 m spatial resolution) before and over 1 h after the injection of a macromolecular contrast agent. Signal enhancement was measured in the vessel wall and compared to histological features. Maximal arterial wall signal enhancement was obtained from 16 to 32 min post injection. During this time, the signal-to-noise ratio increased by a factor up to 1.7 in 16 week mice and 2.7 and 2.4 in 8 and 4 weeks mice, respectively. The enhancement of the arterial wall appeared less pronounced in the oldest mice, 16 weeks old, exhibiting more advanced lesions. Using a macromolecular gadolinium agent, contrast uptake in atherogenesis varies with lesion stage and may be related to vessel-wall permeability. Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI may be useful to evaluate the atherosclerotic plaque activity in mice. 相似文献

This paper presents a novel fuzzy control design method for maximum power-point tracking (MPPT) via a Takagi and Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model-based approach. A knowledge-dynamic model of the PV system is first developed leading to a TS representation by a simple convex polytopic transformation. Then, based on this exact fuzzy representation, a H∞ observer-based fuzzy controller is proposed to achieve MPPT even when we consider varying climatic conditions. A specified TS reference model is designed to generate the optimum trajectory which must be tracked to ensure maximum power operation. The controller and observer gains are obtained in a one-step procedure by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The proposed method has been compared with some classical MPPT techniques taking into account convergence speed and tracking accuracy. Finally, various simulation and experimental tests have been carried out to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed TS fuzzy MPPT strategy. 相似文献
