In this comprehensive review article, we present the theory of symmetry in two-dimensional (2-D) filter functions and in 2-D Fourier transforms. It is shown that when a filter frequency response possesses symmetry, the realization problem becomes relatively simple. Further, when the frequency response has no symmetry, there is a technique to decompose that frequency response into components each of which has the desired symmetry. This again reduces the complexity of two-dimensional filter design. A number of filter design examples are illustrated. 相似文献

The expression of the NMDA subtype of glutamate receptors was investigated by Western blot analysis and RT-PCR in cultured chick Bergmann and Müller glial cells. Using subunit-specific antibodies directed to the carboxy terminus of the rat NMDAR2A/B we detected the expression of the NMDAR2 subunit in both kinds of culture. The functional subunit of the NMDA receptor, NMDAR1, was detected by means of RT-PCR. These results, together with our previous functional characterization of NMDA receptors in radial glia, provide conclusive evidence for the expression of functional NMDA receptor/channels in Bergmann and Muller glia cells. Helminth infections in humans and animals are associated with strong T helper 2 (Th2) responses. To determine whether parasite-derived Ag preferentially expand a Th2-like cell population, a filter immunoplaque assay was used to enumerate the frequencies (F0) of PBMC and CD4(+)-enriched PBMC from individuals with helminth infections secreting selected cytokines in response to parasite-derived (PAg) and nonparasite antigens (NPAg). In 20 individuals with lymphatic filariasis, frequency analysis of PBMC secreting IL-4 and IFN-gamma indicated that the F0 of PAg-specific IL-4-secreting cells (geometric mean F0 (GM): 1/12,100) was 57-fold higher than the corresponding F0 of NPAg-reactive cells (GM: 1/692,000; p < 0.02). In marked contrast, the F0 of IFN-gamma-secreting cells responding to PAg (GM: 1/2,700) did not differ from those of cells specific for NAPg (GM: 1/3,400; p = 0.83). In another group of helminth-infected individuals, the F0 of highly enriched CD4+ cells secreting IL-4 and IL-5 in response to PAg (GMs: 1/2,600 and 1/5,600 CD4+ cells, respectively) were also found to be significantly higher than those specific for NPAg (GMs: 1/291,000 and 1/303,000 CD4+; p < 0.05 and p < 0.01, respectively), whereas the corresponding F0 of IFN-gamma- and granulocyte-macrophage-CSF-secreting cells were equivalent for PAg and NPag. Furthermore, the proportion of PAg-specific IL-4- and IL-5-secreting CD4+ cells relative to all cells secreting the given cytokine were approximately 29-fold higher than the proportion of NPAg-specific cells secreting these cytokines. Again, the corresponding proportions of Ag-specific IFN-gamma-and GM-CSF-secreting CD4+ cells were equivalent for PAg and NPAg. Thus, in this ex vivo system, a circulating population of IL-4- and IL-5-secreting (Th2-like) cells has been shown to exist in humans; PAg appears to expand these cells preferentially. 相似文献

The stability of the reactive interface during the solid-state displacement reaction, Cu2O+Co1−X

)O, is studied as a function of Co-Fe alloy composition at 1223 K. For X≤0.03, the reaction zone has a layered structure, and the cation diffusion in (Co, Fe)O is the rate-limiting step. The interface
is unstable in the early stages of the reaction; the instability decreases with time as the oxide thickness increases, and
the interface becomes planar at long times. The time required for the attainment of interface planarity increases with the
value of X. The reaction kinetics are consistent with the available cation-diffusion data in (Co, Fe)O. For X≥0.045, the product zone is a composite of Cu+(Co, Fe)O, and the rate is limited by the oxygen transport in copper. The transition
to interface instability occurs when the oxide can support a cation flux that exceeds the maximum possible oxygen flux in
copper. During the reaction, composition gradients develop in (Co, Fe)O because of higher diffusion rates for iron than for

Dielectric properties, dielectric constant (k), dielectric loss (tan δ) and a.c. conductivity (σ) in the solution-grown single crystals of RbNO3 are presented from room temperature to about 200°C covering the frequency range 102 to 105 Hz. A broad peak observed in tan δ-frequency data between 103 and 105Hz is thought to be due to impurity-vacancy dipoles. The sudden rise of three parameters near 160°C is attributed to the known

A comparative study of gas sensing behavior of nanocrystalline nickel ferrite synthesized by micro-emulsion and hydrothermal method to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is presented. Nanocrystalline nickel ferrite synthesized by hydrothermal method indicated higher electrical conductivity and gas sensitivity at low operating temperature compared to nanocrystalline nickel ferrite synthesized by reverse micelle technique. This difference in the gas sensing behavior can be attributed to the presence of more oxygen vacancies (i.e. non-stoichiometry) in the hydrothermally synthesized nickel ferrite. Incorporation of palladium had a catalytic effect and the operating temperature was significantly reduced in both the samples. The higher operating temperature of the reverse micelle nickel ferrite material makes the sensor response speed faster (∼10 s) compared to the hydrothermally synthesized material (∼1 min). 相似文献

We propose a design-for-testability technique for synchronous sequential circuits called autoscan. Autoscan uses scan chains similar to conventional scan. However, it gives up the external scan inputs and outputs in order to eliminate the test data volume associated with them. Scan operations under autoscan improve the circuit testability by allowing the circuit state to be modified through shifting. Due to the removal of the scan inputs and outputs, synthesis of scan chains under autoscan does not have to satisfy all the constraints imposed on conventional scan chains. We describe a synthesis procedure for autoscan chains, and demonstrate that autoscan allows us to detect almost all the faults that are detectable using conventional scan. We use random sequences in order to show that sequential test generation is not necessary under autoscan. We also describe a test generation procedure, and discuss the effect of autoscan on fault diagnosis. 相似文献
