Abstract

Like electrical circuit components, the vascular beds in organs present impedance to waves in systemic circulation. In this study, the authors design an animal experiment to study the effect of the impedance to the pressure waves. We view the systemic circulation as an electrical circuit network, and interpret the vascular beds in organs as lumped components in the electrical circuit. Nature's designing of the systemic circulation minimizes the pressure wave reflection, and maximizes blood distribution. This is very similar to the concept adopted by electrical engineers in designing electrical circuits.  相似文献

?ljivovica and Prepe?enica are traditional Serbian distillated beverages made from varieties of plum, of the genus Prunus. The ageing in wooden casks not only improves the sensory characteristics, but also changes the content of total polyphenols and contributes to the other important health properties, such as the increase of their antioxidant capacity. In this study, home-made brandy (?ljivovica and Prepe?enica) samples were used, which matured in casks during the time period from 10 to 47?years. The aim of this investigation was to examine the influence of the ageing parameters (time period and type of wooden casks) and raw material (plum cultivars) on the total polyphenol content, amount of certain phenol compounds, sensory properties, colour and antioxidant properties in matured brandies. The individual phenol components were determinated using HPLC system equipped with diode array detector, while the total phenol content and antioxidant activity was estimated using spectrophotometric methods (Folin?CCiocalteu, DPPH, FRAP and TEAC). Total polyphenol content (TPC) of aged Prepe?enica samples was ranged from 230.26 to 890.26?mg/L gallic acid equivalents (GAE mg/L), whereas the TPC of ?ljivovica sample was 110.38?mg/L. Antioxidant capacity of analysed Prepe?enica samples and ?ljivovica sample was in strong correlation with TPC. Total sensory score of all samples was very high and varied between 18.2 and 19.8. The obtained results have shown that the benefit of longer maturation on sensory characteristics is well recognized, but the improvement has some limitation.  相似文献

The Impedance Group Laboratories of National Metrology Institute of Turkey previously developed a new method for the characterization of Agilent 16380A-type four-terminal-pair air dielectric capacitance standards ranged from 1 to 1,000 pF up to 30 MHz. This method is based on obtaining all resonance frequencies of standard capacitors using a vector network analyzer in order to calculate inductive residual parameters of the standards. As a continuation of the study, this paper gives a detailed uncertainty analysis for the method.  相似文献

Multivariate calibration models based on data from mid‐infrared spectroscopy of biodiesel/diesel blends were obtained. The blends were prepared from diesel oil and esters of soybean oil, waste cooking oil, and hydrogenated vegetable oil in proportions ranging from 0 to 100 % biodiesel. The results showed that the multivariate regression models with interval partial least squares (iPLS), backward interval partial least squares (biPLS), and synergy interval partial least squares (siPLS) were able to determine the fractions of the infrared spectrum that contain the relevant information for estimating the values of physicochemical properties, flash point, specific gravity, and cetane number, which are used in quality control of the blends. In the best models, the values of determination coefficients were greater than 0.9500, proving their efficiency as an alternative to traditional analytical methods.  相似文献

In this study, the photonic bandgap (PBG) film with tunable mechanical properties and photonic stop band was prepared by a simple and feasible approach. Colloid polymer spheres with a relatively large diameter (approximate Dn of 200 nm) and different glass transition temperatures (Tg) were blended with small polystyrene (PS) latex (Dn = 20 nm) and were subsequently casted on a substrate for 3 h at 50°C for self‐assembly of the PBG film. The monodispersed polymer spheres were synthesized by soap‐free emulsion polymerization in the boiling state. The Tg values of the spheres were predetermined based on the Fox equation, and designed to fall in the region of ?34°C to 112°C. Small PS could also be synthesized by this approach using the comonomer, sodium p‐styrenesulfonate (NaSS), to ensure the small diameter. The long‐range ordered structure constructed by embedding the small PS in the PBG film was indirectly confirmed on the basis of SEM analysis, from which the monochromatic film color was determined based on Bragg's diffraction law. Tunable film color was achieved by adjusting the diameter of the spheres, as evaluated using UV–Vis. Tunable mechanical properties of the PBG film were also achieved by varying the Tg of the spheres or the filling ratio of small PS. Based on these approaches, the ultimate tensile strength could be tuned in the region between 0.39 to 4.7 Mpa, and the relative strain could be varied from 1236% to 16%, illustrative of the excellent deformability of the film. Furthermore, by variation of these two parameters, the film properties could be changed from typical elastomer behavior to brittle plastic polymer type behavior, greatly extending the prospective application fields. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 湖南省渣滓溪钨锑矿床是湘西地区一个大型的锑矿床,伴生钨矿。该矿床在成矿构造分析方面的研究仍较薄弱,制约了进一步找矿的突破。通过区域控矿构造分析、现场构造与矿体地质调查、历年矿区勘查资料整理编图、地质体产状统计及矿体成分分析,对构造控矿规律和构造演化序列进行了总结。结果表明:区域上锑钨矿床的分布主要受正向构造控制;矿区控矿构造型式为“十”字型;锑矿脉具有NNW—NWW向优势方位,钨矿体具有NNE向优势方位;锑矿体具有向南东侧伏规律,钨矿体具有向北东侧伏规律;F3上盘次级断裂是锑矿体有利的容矿构造。“钨早锑晚”属不同构造—成矿阶段形成,矿区南侧为矿化中心。矿区构造变形—成矿序列可归纳为:加里东期区域NE向复式背斜断裂隆起带构造定格阶段;印支期第一阶段——盖层与基底NEE向同轴叠加褶皱形成;印支期第二阶段——NE向钨矿体形成;印支期第三阶段——NNW—NWW向锑矿体形成;喜山期——NEE向破矿构造形成。基于对矿床地质特征、构造控矿规律和矿化垂向分带规律的研究认为,矿区深部具有较好找矿前景,并圈定出了两处找矿靶区:1号靶区位于9号锑矿体南东侧,2~6号勘探线之间,垂向标高为-750~-900 m;2号靶区位于13号钨矿体北东侧, W10~W12号勘探线之间,垂向标高为-270~-370 m。  相似文献

峪耳崖金矿位于华北板块北缘,矿区基底地层为太古界迁西群麻粒岩相和角闪岩相,矿体受NNE—NE向断裂构造控制,赋矿围岩为花岗岩。在矿床地质特征基础上,利用矿区土壤地球化学数据,采取传统统计法和累计频率法圈定了金矿12个元素的异常范围;运用因子分析方法划分出了Sb Hg Pb As元素组合、Au Ag Bi元素组合、Zn Cu Sn元素组合和W Mo元素组合;再对因子得分进行趋势面分析,较为有效地突出了深层次的找矿信息,更准确地圈出成矿靶区。结合研究区地质特征认为Au Ag Bi元素组合和Sb Hg Pb As元素组合为研究区最佳地球化学标志元素组合,下一步地质工作重点应放在矿区中矿带矿体深部及其南部异常高值区,同时布置少量工程在北矿带,以追索与唐杖子金矿之间的联系。  相似文献

This study investigated the combined effects of trans fat diet (TFD) and doxorubicin upon cardiac oxidative, inflammatory, and coagulatory stress. TFD increased trans fatty acid deposit in heart (P < 0.05), and decreased protein C and antithrombin‐III activities in circulation (P < 0.05). TFD plus doxorubicin treatment elevated activities of plasminogen activator inhibitor‐1, lactate dehydrogenase, and creatine phosphokinase (P < 0.05). This combination also raised xanthine oxidase activity, and enhanced cardiac levels of reactive oxygen species, interleukin (IL)‐6, IL‐10, tumor necrosis factor‐alpha, and monocyte chemoattractant protein‐1 than TFD or doxorubicin treatment alone (P < 0.05). TFD alone increased cardiac nuclear factor kappa B (NF‐κB) activity (P < 0.05), but failed to affect expression of NF‐κB and mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) (P > 0.05). Doxorubicin treatment alone augmented cardiac activity, mRNA expression, and protein production of NF‐κB and MAPK (P < 0.05). TFD plus doxorubicin treatment further upregulated cardiac expression of NF‐κB p65, p‐p38, and p‐ERK1/2 (P < 0.05). These findings suggest that TFD exacerbates doxorubicin‐induced cardiotoxicity.  相似文献
