Molecular properties of benzene nitro derivatives were investigated by using semi-empirical MO calculations. As the results, the molecular structures and the rotational barrier of the nitro group calculated by AM1 showed a good agreement with the experimental values. The heats of formation in gaseous and condensed phases were obtained by considering isodesmic reactions. By this procedure, the heat of formation of hexanitrobenzene in solid phase was calculated to be +22.7 kcal/mol. The detonation parameters were also calculated by using four equations of state. The predicted detonation velocities showed a good agreement with the experimental values.  相似文献

The structure and rheological properties of binary blends of polycarbonate (PC) and polystyrene (PS) were investigated using various PS samples with different molecular weights, namely PS1k (Mw = 1,000), PS53k (Mw = 53,000), and PS240k (Mw = 240,000). The blends with PS53k and PS240k show phase-separated structures, whereas the blend with PS1k is miscible. The shear viscosity decreases greatly on addition of PS53k and PS240k, especially at high shear rates, which would be a great advantage at processing operations. Because the nonlinear response occurs in the small strain region for multilayered films of PC and PS240k, the origin of the significant viscosity drop for the phase-separated system is interfacial slippage at the phase boundary.  相似文献

This study evaluates background serum levels of selected organochlorine compounds among Japanese women of reproductive age and investigates whether lifestyle factors, especially dietary factors, may be associated with these levels. A cross-sectional study was performed on 80 Japanese women, aged 26-43 years, who complained of infertility and were confirmed not to have endometriosis. The serum levels of total toxic equivalency (TEQ), 18 polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs)/polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs), 4 coplanar polychlorinated biphenyls (cPCBs), 36 ortho-substituted polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and 13 chlorinated pesticides or their metabolites were measured and data were collected on the women's age, residence, occupation, body mass index (BMI), smoking and alcohol habit and 6 dietary intakes (fish, meats, rice, vegetables, fruits and dairy products). The serum median level of total TEQ was 25.1 pg TEQ/g lipid, that of PCDDs/PCDFs/cPCBs was 11.5 pmol/g lipid, that of PCBs was 0.46 nmol/g lipid, and that of total pesticides was 1.32 nmol/g lipid. The serum levels of total TEQ, PCDDs/PCDFs/cPCBs, PCBs and pesticides were positively associated with age (P for trend=0.003, 0.01, 0.005 and 0.01, respectively) and frequent fish consumption (P for trend=0.002, 0.003, 0.0003 and 0.006, respectively). Other lifestyle factors were not associated with serum organochlorine levels. The present study suggests that Japanese women who consume fish frequently in their reproductive period tend to accumulate organochlorines in their bodies.  相似文献

Several hexaaluminate-related materials were prepared via hydrolysis of alkoxide and powder mixing method for high temperature combustion of CH4 and C3H8, in order to investigate the effect of the concentration of the fuels, O2 and H2O on NOx emission and combustion characteristics. Among the hexaaluminate catalysts, Sr0.8La0.2MnAl11O19− prepared by the alkoxide method exhibited the highest activity for methane combustion and low NOx emission capability. NOx emission at 1500 °C was increased linearly with O2 concentration, whereas water vapor addition decreased NOx emission in CH4 combustion over the Sr0.8La0.2MnAl11O19− catalyst. In the catalytic combustion of C3H8 over the Sr0.8La0.2MnAl11O19− catalyst, the amount of NOx emitted was raised in the temperature range between 1000 and 1500 °C when the C3H8 concentration increased from 1 to 2 vol.%. It was found that NOx emission in this temperature range was reduced effectively by adding water vapor.  相似文献

An attempt was made to prepare various F-doped β-, O-, X-, and -SiAlONs from a mixture of Si3N4, SiO2, Al2O3, AlN, or Y2O3 using AlF3 or topaz as the fluorine source by HIPing at 1500–1800°C and 150 MPa. The phases were identified and the z, x, and m/n values determined for β-, O-, and -SiAlONs by X-ray diffraction. When AlF3 was used, a single phase ceramic (O-SiAlON) was produced from a mixture of -Si3N4 and SiO2 at 1500°C, with a mixture of O- and β-SiAlONs formed at 1700°C. A mixture of -Si3N4, AlN, and Y2O3 with AlF3 produced β-/Y--SiAlON ceramics at 1730°C. The use of topaz produced the β-SiAlON ceramic with a trace of mullite from a mixture of -Si3N4 and AlN at 1770°C and mixed phase β-/O-SiAlON ceramics from -Si3N4 and SiO2 at 1700°C. Single phase X-SiAlON could not be obtained under the present conditions. The microstructures of the single phase O- and β-SiAlON ceramics and the β-/Y--SiAlON mixture showed the growth of O- and β-SiAlON and Y--SiAlON crystals with hexagonal and/or long rod-like or platy shapes in a matrix of F-containing glassy phase. The compositions of the SiAlON crystals and the glass phase were semi-quantitatively determined by EDX; the total glass phase was estimated by a quantitative Rietveld XRD powder method. The F-doped β-SiAlON ceramics showed better corrosion resistance towards NaCl vapor and lower Vickers hardnesses.  相似文献

Unit-cell parameters of the α-tricalcium phosphate [TCP; Ca3(PO4)2] were investigated using high-resolution synchrotron powder diffraction and the Rietveld method. The diffraction experiment was conducted at 29°C at the BL-15XU experimental station of SPring-8, Japan. Precise unit-cell parameters of the α-TCP were obtained; a =12.87271 (9), b =27.28034(8), c =15.21275(12) Å, α=γ=90°, and β=126.2078(4)°. The calculated density of α-TCP (2.8677 g/cm3) is smaller than that of β-TCP, indicating the "looser" structure of α-TCP.  相似文献

A feasible doping strategy is introduced to synthesize Eu2+-doped α-Si3N4 nanowires coated with a thin BN film. The nanowires were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and a fluorescence spectrophotometer. The Eu2+-doped α-Si3N4 nanowires emitted strong yellow light, which is related to the 4 f 65 d –4 f 7 transition of Eu2+, upon a broad excitation wavelength range between 250 and 450 nm. The obtained nanowires provided a potential candidate for application in optical nanodevices, as well as in white LEDs.  相似文献

The thermal and electrical properties of MoSi2 and/or SiC-containing ZrB2-based composites and the effects of MoSi2 and SiC contents were examined in hot-pressed ZrB2–MoSi2–SiC composites. The thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity of the ZrB2–MoSi2–SiC composites were measured at room temperature by a nanoflash technique and a current–voltage method, respectively. The results indicate that the thermal and electrical conductivities of ZrB2–MoSi2–SiC composites are dependent on the amount of MoSi2 and SiC. The thermal conductivities observed for all of the compositions were more than 75 W·(m·K)−1. A maximum conductivity of 97.55 W·(m·K)−1 was measured for the 20 vol% MoSi2-30 vol% SiC-containing ZrB2 composite. On the other hand, the electrical conductivities observed for all of the compositions were in the range from 4.07 × 10–8.11 × 10 Ω−1·cm−1.  相似文献

High tensile strength fibers of poly[(R)‐3‐hydroxybutyrate‐co‐(R)‐3‐hydroxyhexanoate] [P(3HB‐co‐3HH)], a type of microbial polyesters, were processed by one‐step and two‐step cold‐drawn method with intermediate annealing. Thermal degradation behaviors were characterized by differential scanning calorimeter and gel permeation chromatography measurements. Thermal analyses were revealed that molecular weights decreased drastically within melting time at a few minute. One‐step cold‐drawn fiber with drawing ratio of 10 showed tensile strength of 281 MPa, while tensile strength of as‐spun fiber was 78 MPa. When two‐step drawing was applied for P(3HB‐co‐3HH) fibers, the tensile strength was led to 420 MPa. Furthermore, the optimization of intermediate annealing condition leads to enhance the tensile strength at 552 MPa of P(3HB‐co‐3HH) fiber. Wide‐angel X‐ray diffraction measurements of these fibers suggest that the fibers with high tensile strength include much amount of the planer‐zigzag conformation (β‐form) as molecular conformation together with 21 helix conformation (α‐form). © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The effects of growth temperature on the fatty acid compositions of the phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), and total lipid (TL) fractions of the free-living nematodeCaenorhabditis elegans were investigated. A reduction in growth temperature from 25 to 15°C caused the proportions of eicosapentaenoic acid (20∶5n-3) to increase from 23.6 to 32.5% in the PC, from 7.4 to 10.8% in the PE, and from 12.9 to 19.9% in the TL fractions. Conversely, the levels of dihomo-γ-linolenic acid (20∶3n-6) and arachidonic acid (20∶4n-6) in these phospholipid fractions and the TL fraction both decreased with decreasing growth temperature. Analysis of the positional distribution of fatty acids in the PC fraction revealed that the change in the composition of C20 polyunsaturated fatty acid was obvious in positionsn-2. Lowering the growth temperature induced an increase in the level of the diacyl subclass of PE from 58% at 25°C to 71% at 15°C, with a concomitant decrease in the levels of the alkylacyl and alkenylacyl subclass of PE ofC. elegans. These changes observed in the phospholipids ofC. elegans might be one mechanism for adaptation to low temperature. Lipids 31, 1173–1178 (1996).  相似文献
