In this paper, synthetic T2 chart is developed to monitor bivariate process with correlated variables and autocorrelated observations. The proposed chart is a combination of the Hotelling's T2 chart and the conforming run length chart. The operation and design of the chart are described when observations are autocorrelated and cross correlated. The first‐order vector autoregressive process VAR (1) is used to model the bivariate data from an autocorrelated process of interest. Using an average run length as performance measure criterion in the VAR (1) model, it is observed that autocorrelation seriously impact the performance of the synthetic T2 chart. To reduce the effect of autocorrelation on the performance of the synthetic T2 chart, the skip and mixed sampling strategies are implemented to form rational subgroups in the construction of synthetic T2 chart. The average run length performance of the synthetic T2 chart implementing these strategies is compared with that of the standard strategy of formation of rational subgroups. It is observed that implementing skip and mixed sampling strategies within rational subgroup improves the performance of the synthetic T2 chart.  相似文献

The purpose of this work is to characterize thermal, physical and mechanical properties of different grades of lactose and better understand the relationships between these properties and capsule filling performance. Eight grades of commercially available lactose were evaluated: Pharmatose 110?M, 125?M, 150?M, 200?M, 350?M (α-lactose monohydrate), AL (anhydrous lactose containing ~80% β-AL), DCL11 (spray dried α-lactose monohydrate containing ~15% amorphous lactose) and DCL15 (granulated α-lactose monohydrate containing ~12% β-AL). In this study, different lactose grades were characterized by thermal, solid state, physical and mechanical properties and later evaluated using principal component analysis (PCA) to assess the inter-relationships among some of these properties. The lactose grades were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), moisture sorption/desorption isotherms, particle size distribution; the flow was characterized by Carr Index (CI), critical orifice diameter (COD) and angle of friction. Plug mechanical strength was estimated from its diametric crushing strength. The first and second principal components (PC) captured 47.6% and 27.4% of variation in the physical and mechanical property data, respectively. The PCA plot grouped together 110?M, AL, DCL11 and DCL15 on the one side of plot which possessed superior properties for capsule formulation and these grades were selected for future formulation development studies (part II of this work).  相似文献

The aim of present research was to optimise the conditions to develop nutritionally rich honey powder using honey, whey protein concentrate (WPC), aonla (Emblica officinalis. Gaertn) and basil (Ocimum sanctum) extract with the help of co‐current spray drier. Response surface methodology was applied to study the effects of inlet temperature (160–180 °C), whey protein concentrate (25–35%), feed flow rate (0.08–0.13 mL s?1), aonla extract (6–8%) and basil extract (6–8%) on product responses, viz. bulk density, hygroscopicity, antioxidant activity (AOA), total phenolic content (TPC) and vitamin C. Statistical analysis revealed that independent variables significantly affected all the responses. The results demonstrated that increasing inlet temperature lowered the bulk density, hygroscopicity, AOA, TPC and vitamin C, whereas addition of aonla extract and basil extract increased the AOA (82.73%), TPC (63.27%) and total vitamin C content (94.89%) as these functional compounds were encapsulated by WPC. Similarly, with increase in feed flow rate and WPC, there was increase and decrease in the bulk density and hygroscopicity, respectively. The recommended optimum spray‐drying conditions were inlet air temperature (170 °C), feed rate (0.11 mL s?1), whey protein concentrate (35%), aonla (8%) and basil extract (6%).  相似文献

Epitaxial (Ti1?xMgx)0.25Al0.75N(0001)/Al2O3(0001) layers are used as a model system to explore how Fermi‐level engineering facilitates structural stabilization of a host matrix despite the intentional introduction of local bonding instabilities that enhance the piezoelectric response. The destabilizing octahedral bonding preference of Ti dopants and the preferred 0.67 nitrogen‐to‐Mg ratio for Mg dopants deteriorate the wurtzite AlN matrix for both Ti‐rich (x < 0.2) and Mg‐rich (x ≥ 0.9) alloys. Conversely, x = 0.5 leads to a stability peak with a minimum in the lattice constant ratio c/a, which is caused by a Fermi‐level shift into the bandgap and a trend toward nondirectional ionic bonding, leading to a maximum in the expected piezoelectric stress constant e33. The refractive index and the subgap absorption decrease with x, the optical bandgap increases, and the elastic constant along the hexagonal axis C33 = 270 ± 14 GPa remains composition independent, leading to an expected piezoelectric constant d33 = 6.4 pC N?1 at x = 0.5, which is 50% larger than for the pure AlN matrix. Thus, contrary to the typical anticorrelation between stability and electromechanical coupling, the (Ti1?xMgx)0.25Al0.75N system exhibits simultaneous maxima in the structural stability and the piezoelectric response at x = 0.5.  相似文献

Fabrication of hierarchical nanosheet arrays of 1T phase of transition‐metal dichalcogenides is indeed a critical task, but it holds immense potential for energy storage. A single‐step strategy is employed for the fabrication of stable 1T‐MnxMo1–xS2–ySey and MoFe2S4–zSez hierarchical nanosheet arrays on carbon cloth as positive and negative electrodes, respectively. The flexible asymmetric supercapacitor constructed with these two electrodes exhibits an excellent electrochemical performance (energy density of ≈69 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 0.985 kW kg?1) with ultralong cyclic stability of ≈83.5% capacity retention, after 10 000 consecutive cycles. Co‐doping of the metal and nonmetal boosts the charge storage ability of the transition‐metal chalcogenides following enrichment in the metallic 1T phase, improvement in the surface area, and expansion in the interlayer spacing in tandem, which is the key focus of the present study. This study explicitly demonstrates the exponential enhancement of specific capacity of MoS2 following intercalation and doping of Mn and Se, and Fe2S3 following doping of Mo and Se could be an ideal direction for the fabrication of novel energy‐storage materials with high‐energy storage ability.  相似文献

An equiatomic quinary AlCoCrFeNi high entropy alloy (HEA) has been synthesized by mechanical alloying. Milled powder after 30?h shows good chemical homogeneity and refined morphology with a mean particle size of ~4?μm. Solid solution phase with BCC crystal structure (a?=?2.89?±?0.02?Å) has been confirmed from XRD and transmission electron microscopy in the as-synthesized high entropy alloy. The milled alloy powder is not thermally stable. Differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) thermogram of 30?h milled powder exhibits the presence of a small peak at ~600?°C (873?K) with a thermal shift near the peak. This thermal shift indicates the diffusive type of phase transformation in this alloy while heating. The analysis of the in-situ heating X-ray diffraction patterns at various temperatures extends support to the diffusive nature of the phase transformation. Upon heat treatment, the disordered BCC solid solution phase partially transforms to Ni3Al prototype L12 phase which precipitates at a lower temperature (350?°C (623?K)) as observed by in-situ XRD experiments. However, at high temperature annealing (575–800?°C (848–1073?K)) the evolution of a partially ordered BCC phase (B2) with lattice parameter (a?=?2.87?±?0.02?Å), and L12 phase (a?=?3.58?±?0.05?Å), along with tetragonal σ phase (a?=?8.8?Å and c?=?4.53?Å) are observed. Similar types of phases have also been identified after annealing and microwave sintering at 800?°C (1073?K) & 900?°C (1173?K) respectively. The transformation of ordered BCC phases along with two intermetallics such as L12 phase and σ phase suggests that the evolution of the high entropy phase in the milled condition leads to a combination of high entropy and medium entropy phases in the annealed condition.  相似文献

This review includes research papers on different method of preparation of rare earth activated Sr2SiO4 phosphors and its luminescence studies. Here in Sr2SiO4 has attracted great interest due to its special structure features, excellent physical and chemical stability. Besides, it absorbs ultraviolet radiation and emits white light when activated by different rare earth ions. Different synthesis techniques were compared and it is found that sol–gel synthesis technique is best for preparation of rare earth activated Sr2SiO4 phosphors. Literature related to characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction techniques, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and other studies are also compared. Photoluminescence studies for white light emitting diode of various rare earth phosphors are compared with Sr2SiO4 phosphor reported in this review. Also some luminescence techniques such as thermoluminescence glow curve analysis and some spectroscopic parameters are also compared. The review end with some important conclusion related to rare earth activated Sr2SiO4 phosphors with proper justifications.  相似文献
