Generalized correlation filters are proposed to improve recognition of a linearly distorted object embedded in a nonoverlapping background when the input scene is degraded with a linear system and additive noise. Several performance criteria defined for the nonoverlapping signal model are used for the design of filters. The derived filters take into account information about an object to be recognized, disjoint background, noise, and linear degradations of the target and the input scene. Computer simulation results obtained with the proposed filters are discussed and compared with those of various correlation filters in terms of discrimination capability, location errors, and tolerance to input noise.  相似文献

This paper presents experimental data for the solubility, density and capillary constant for solutions of natural refrigerant isobutane with commercial mineral compressor oil Azmol over a wide range of temperatures and concentrations. Based on information for the capillary constant, the surface tension of the solutions isobutane/Azmol is determined. The experimental data were obtained in the temperature range from 303 K to 363 K and at pressures up to 1.7 MPa using static methods. The experimental data obtained for the solutions of the natural refrigerant isobutane with the commercial mineral compressor oil Azmol are sufficiently described with the help of correlations based on the theory of thermodynamic similarity. The paper reports variation of the vapor pressure, density, capillary constant and surface tension as a function of concentration for the isobutane/Azmol solutions. The enthalpy of liquid phase of the isobutane/Azmol solutions is calculated. The analysis of the behaviour of the excess thermodynamic functions is carried out. The paper examines experimental and methodical uncertainties in the investigation of thermodynamic properties of the refrigerant/oil solutions (ROS). The influence of the time taken to establish thermodynamic equilibrium in the experimental cell on the uncertainty of the experimental data for gas-saturated mixtures such as ROS is discussed. Information about the changing concentration of refrigerant in the liquid phase of the ROS and in the surface layer of the liquid phase of the ROS at increasing temperature is presented. In addition, the experimental data for the density, surface tension and refractive index of the mineral compressor oil Azmol are reported.  相似文献

General aviation (GA) accounts for more than 82% of all air transport-related accidents and air transport-related fatalities in the U.S. In this study, we conduct a series of statistical analyses to investigate the significance of a pilot's gender, age and experience in influencing the risk for pilot errors and fatalities in GA accidents. There is no evidence from the Chi-square tests and logistic regression models that support the likelihood of an accident caused by pilot error to be related to pilot gender. However, evidence is found that male pilots, those older than 60 years of age, and with more experience, are more likely to be involved in a fatal accident.  相似文献

Commonly observed variations in photoluminescence (PL) spectra of crystalline organic semiconductors, including the appearance or enhancement of certain PL bands, are shown to originate from a small amount of structural disorder (e.g., amorphous inclusions embedded in a crystal), rather than be necessarily related to chemical impurities or material oxidation. For instance, in rubrene, a minute amount of such disorder can lead to the appearance of a dominant PL band at 650 nm as a result of triplet excitons captured and fused at these sites, with a subsequent emission from the amorphous phase.  相似文献

A premixed flame propagating through a combination of vortices in a tube/channel is studied using direct numerical simulations of the complete set of combustion equations including thermal conduction, diffusion, viscosity, and chemical kinetics. Two cases are considered, a single-mode vortex array and a multimode combination of vortices obeying the Kolmogorov spectrum. It is shown that the velocity of flame propagation depends strongly on the vortex intensity and size. The dependence on the vortex intensity is almost linear in agreement with the general belief. The dependence on the vortex size may be imitated by a power law ∝D2/3. This result is different from theoretical predictions, which creates a challenge for the theory. In the case of the Kolmogorov spectrum of vortices, the velocity of flame propagation is noticeably smaller than for a single-mode vortex array. The flame velocity depends weakly on the thermal expansion of burning matter within the domain of realistically large expansion factors. Comparison to the experimental data indicates that small-scale turbulence is not the only effect that influences the flame velocity in the experimental flows. Large-scale processes, such as the Darrieus-Landau instability and flame-wall interaction, contribute considerably to the velocity of flame propagation. Still, on small scales, the Darrieus-Landau instability becomes important only for a sufficiently low vortex intensity.  相似文献

Parahydrogen-induced nuclear polarization offers a significant increase in the sensitivity of NMR spectroscopy to create new probes for medical diagnostics by magnetic resonance imaging. As precursors of the biocompatible hyperpolarized probes, unsaturated derivatives of phosphoric acid, propargyl and allyl phosphates, are proposed. The polarization transfer to 1H and 31P nuclei of the products of their hydrogenation by parahydrogen under the ALTADENA and PASADENA conditions, and by the PH-ECHO-INEPT+ pulse sequence of NMR spectroscopy, resulted in a very high signal amplification, which is among the largest for parahydrogen-induced nuclear polarization transfer to the 31P nucleus.  相似文献

Scombroid food poisoning (SFP) is a foodborne disease that develops after consumption of fresh fish and, rarely, seafood that has fine organoleptic characteristics but contains a large amount of exogenous histamine. SFP, like other food pseudo-allergic reactions (FPA), is a disorder that is clinically identical to allergic reactions type I, but there are many differences in their pathogenesis. To date, SFP has been widespread throughout the world and is an urgent problem, although exact epidemiological data on incidence varies greatly. The need to distinguish SFP from true IgE-associated allergy to fish and seafood is one of the most difficult examples of the differential diagnosis of allergic conditions. The most important difference is the absence of an IgE response in SFP. The pathogenesis of SFP includes a complex system of interactions between the body and chemical triggers such as exogenous histamine, other biogenic amines, cis-urocanic acid, salicylates, and other histamine liberators. Because of the wide range of molecular pathways involved in this process, it is critical to understand their differences. This may help predict and prevent poor outcomes in patients and contribute to the development of adequate hygienic rules and regulations for seafood product safety. Despite the vast and lengthy history of research on SFP mechanisms, there are still many blank spots in our understanding of this condition. The goals of this review are to differentiate various molecular mechanisms of SFP and describe methods of hygienic regulation of some biogenic amines that influence the concentration of histamine in the human body and play an important role in the mechanism of SFP.  相似文献

Herein, a novel pH-responsive phosphorescent probe based on cyclometalated iridium(III) complex is reported. To prevent oxygen quenching of phosphorescence and to improve the probe biocompatibility, the complex is covalently conjugated with a water-soluble block-copolymer that also increases its pH sensitivity. The resulting polymeric nanoprobe demonstrates a strong response of the phosphorescence lifetime onto pH variations in physiological range. Cellular experiments with Chinese hamster ovary (CHO-K1) cells show the predominant internalization of the probe in acidified cell compartments, endosomes and lysosomes. The analysis of phosphorescence lifetime imaging microscopy data confirms applicability of the sensor for monitoring of intra- and extracellular pH in cell cultures.  相似文献
