用于放射性气溶胶在线富集进样的狭缝虚拟撞击器的研制

为满足环境气溶胶在线进样的要求,改善电感耦合等离子体质谱计(Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry,ICP蛳MS)对粒子中待测核素的探测限,研制出一套具有低流量、低压降特点的狭缝虚拟撞击器,可作为气溶胶在线富集进样系统的关键部件与ICPˉMS联用。本文介绍了该狭缝虚拟撞击器的研制情况:首先由ICP蛳MS的进样条件,根据经验公式完成了理论设计,确定进样流量为11L/min,强流与弱流的流量比为10,喷射狭缝宽度为1mm,长宽比为10;然后用计算流体动力学软件Fluent R对上述结构内部的流场和粒子运动径迹进行了数值模拟,考察了喷射狭缝与收集狭缝的间距G、收集狭缝的宽度Wc及其进口曲率半径的加工偏差对收集效率的影响,得到了较优化的取值范围:G取1.0～1.2mm,Wc取1.4～1.6mm,此时的切割粒径D50约2.5μm;加工出狭缝虚拟撞击器的原型装置,对其分别用室内空气气溶胶和荧光素钠标记的单分散油酸粒子进行富集性能测量。实测结果表明:空气动力学等效直径在2.5～5μm范围内的粒子浓度得到了明显富集,5μm的粒子的富集因子达到极大值7。     

Size-resolved source apportionment of aerosol particles using polycapillary X-ray lens with a plateau in its focal spot

A laboratory micro X-ray fluorescence spectrometer based on a special polycapillary X-ray lens (PXRL) was used to carry out the source apportionment of aerosol particles. In the curve of the distribution of the X-ray intensity in the focal spot of the special PXRL, there was a plateau with a diameter of 21.3 μm in which the distribution of the X-ray intensity was homogeneous. The gain in flux density in the plateau of the PXRL is 1490. The uniformity of this plateau was 2.9%. This was helpful for the quantitative X-ray fluorescence analysis of a single aerosol particle with smaller size than that of the plateau of the PXRL. The fingerprint database of aerosol particles with given sizes from various air pollution sources was established with the single particle analysis method. The size-resolved source apportionment of aerosol particles in haze in Beijing city was performed with this fingerprint database.     

Atomic Bond Deficiency Defects in Amorphous Metals

Atomic bond deficiency (BD) is considered to be characteristic structural defects in amorphous metals. They are the necessary feature of local atomic configurations that facilitate various atomic transports under different driving forces. Compared with vacancies in crystalline solids, they are ??small?? in terms of their formation energies, volume costs, and elementary steps involved in atomic transport. This article reviews the authors?? recent efforts made to analyze how various local configurations containing BD are related to amorphous metal??s unique characteristics, such as glass transition, diffusion, shear flow, and structural relaxation.     

Subclavian venogram as a guide to lead implantation

Melatonin synthesis in retinal photoreceptors is stimulated at night by a circadian oscillator and suppressed acutely by light. To identify photoreceptor mechanisms involved in the acute suppression of melatonin synthesis, an action spectrum was measured for dark-adapted Xenopus laevis eyecups at night. Intensity-response curves at six wavelengths from 400 to 650 nm were parallel, suggesting that a single photopigment predominates in melatonin suppression. Half-saturating intensities at 400, 440, 480, and 533 nm were not significantly different from one another, at 1-2 x 10(8) quanta cm(-2) s(-1). Significantly higher intensities of 580- and 650-nm light were required for melatonin suppression. These results indicate a predominant role for the principal green-absorbing rods in acute regulation of retinal melatonin synthesis in response to light, and argue against an important role for the red-absorbing cones. Higher than expected sensitivity at short wavelengths suggests that photoreceptors sensitive to blue and/or violet light may also contribute to melatonin suppression.

Role of ERAB/L-3-hydroxyacyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase type II activity in Abeta-induced cytotoxicity

Endoplasmic reticulum-associated amyloid beta-peptide (Abeta)-binding protein (ERAB)/L-3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase type II (HADH II) is expressed at high levels in Alzheimer's disease (AD)-affected brain, binds Abeta, and contributes to Abeta-induced cytotoxicity. Purified recombinant ERAB/HADH II catalyzed the NADH-dependent reduction of S-acetoacetyl-CoA with a Km of approximately 68 microM and a Vmax of approximately 430 micromol/min/mg. The contribution of ERAB/HADH II enzymatic activity to Abeta-mediated cellular dysfunction was studied by site-directed mutagenesis in the catalytic domain (Y168G/K172G). Although COS cells cotransfected to overexpress wild-type ERAB/HADH II and variant beta-amyloid precursor protein (betaAPP(V717G)) showed DNA fragmentation, cotransfection with Y168G/K172G-altered ERAB and betaAPP(V717G) was without effect. We thus asked whether the enzyme might recognize alcohol substrates of which the aldehyde products could be cytotoxic; ERAB/HADH II catalyzed oxidation of a variety of simple alcohols (C2-C10) to their respective aldehydes in the presence of NAD+ and NAD-dependent oxidation of 17beta-estradiol. Addition of micromolar levels of synthetic Abeta(1-40) to purified ERAB/HADH II inhibited, in parallel, reduction of S-acetoacetyl-CoA (Ki approximately 1.6 microM), as well as oxidation of 17beta-estradiol (Ki approximately 3.2 microM) and (-)-2-octanol (Ki approximately 2.6 microM). Because micromolar levels of Abeta were required to inhibit ERAB/HADH II activity, whereas Abeta binding to ERAB/HADH II occurred at much lower concentrations (Km approximately 40-70 nM), the latter more closely simulating Abeta levels within cells, Abeta perturbation of ERAB/HADH II was likely to result from mechanisms other than the direct modulation of enzymatic activity. Cells cotransfected to overexpress ERAB/HADH II and betaAPP(V717G) generated malondialdehyde-protein and 4-hydroxynonenal-protein epitopes, which were detectable only at the lowest levels in cells overexpressing either ERAB/HADH II or betaAPP(V717G) alone. Generation of such toxic aldehydes was not observed in cells contransfected to overexpress Y168G/K172G-altered ERAB and betaAPP(V717G). We conclude that the generalized alcohol dehydrogenase activity of ERAB/HADH II is central to the cytotoxicity observed in an Abeta-rich environment.     

烧结温度和保温时间对AlB_2合成反应的影响

将化学计量比1∶2的Al粉和B粉混合均匀后压制成Φ12 mm的圆柱锭,在流通Ar气气氛下,分别于650,700,800,900和1000℃下烧结4 h后随炉冷却至室温,利用X射线衍射仪(XRD)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)分别研究了合成的样品的物相组成和微观形貌。结果表明,烧结温度的升高不仅会使样品中AlB2的相含量发生变化,还伴随有AlB2颗粒的长大;在800℃时烧结可以得到相含量较多、颗粒尺寸相对较小的AlB2。此外,研究了在800℃时保温不同时间对AlB2合成反应的影响。在流通Ar气气氛中,将压制好的圆柱锭在800℃下分别保温0.5,2.0,4.0,6.0和10.0 h后将样品装置移出管式炉并于Ar气气氛中冷却至室温。物相和形貌分析表明保温时间也会使AlB2的相含量和颗粒尺寸发生变化,且AlB颗粒随保温时间的延长有明显长大的趋势;综合考虑在800℃烧结时保温6 h效果最好。     

安钢100 t竖式电弧炉高热装铁水比的工艺实践

分析研究了热装铁水比对100t竖式电弧炉吨钢电耗、吨钢氧耗、冶炼周期和冶炼成本的影响以及对原材料、氧气供应、水冷条件、除尘能力等的要求。通过采用电弧炉炉壁USTB集束供氧技术,该电弧炉的供氧强度达到1.6 m³/(t·min)。实践表明,该集束供氧技术能满足高热装铁水比冶炼的要求,在相同热装铁水比下,冶炼电耗降低25 kWh/t,冶炼成本下降100元/t以上。
