A study on the kinetics and mechanism of the polymerization of acrylonitrile initiated by imidazole and 2-substituted imidazole-copper-(II) complexes was made in dimethyl sulfoxide solution at 40–70°C. The rate of polymerization, Rp, could be expressed as follows: The overall activation energies of these polymerization processes are in a range from 14.2 to 69.1 KJ mole-1. From the data of electronic spectra and electron paramagnetic resonance, it was confirmed that the polymerization in question could be initiated by free radicals which were formed by the reduction of copper-(II) complex to copper-(I) complex, and the latter formed a new complex with polyacrylonitrile resulted. 相似文献

Polytetramethylene glycol (molecular weight range 1000–8000) was prepared by the polymerization of tetrahydrofuran (THF) using a binary catalyst system of fuming sulfuric acid and perchloric acid. When 28% fuming sulfuric acid alone was used as the catalyst, the average molecular weight of polymer was low, the maximum value being 1000–1100. By the combination of fuming sulfuric acid with a small amount of perchloric acid, the average molecular weight of the polymer was increased to about 8000. Catalytic behavior of silica-supported transition metals for NO reduction with propene in the presence of oxygen was investigated. While both silica and cobalt oxides did not show any activity for the selective NO reduction, impregnated CoO/SiO2 prepared from cobalt acetate showed good activity although the preparation conditions had significant effect on the activity. It was suggested that highly dispersed surface Co2+ ions on silica are responsible for the catalytic activity. 相似文献

The synthesis of super-microporous aluminosilicate with a pore diameter of 14.6 Å has been achieved, by means of synthesis under specified conditions with a skeletal material comprising TMOS and a small quantity of sodium aluminate, and a conventional alkyl-trimethylammonium halide (C10TMABr) as a template. It is necessary for encapsulants to have not only a suitable coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) compatible to IC devices and a low dielectric constant to reduce the device propagation delay, but also a high thermal conductivity to dissipate large amounts of heat from power-hungry, high-speed IC and high-density packages. Fillers such as silica have been mixed with polymers to improve their properties. Aluminum nitride (AlN) is considered as an alternative one, because it has a higher theoretical thermal conductivity of ∼320 W/mK1 , a compatible CTE with silicon chips and a low dielectric constant. Commercial AlN fillers are angular in shape, because they are prepared via grinding coarse AlN powders synthesized by direct nitridation of aluminum metal and classification. The angular AlN are not expected to have high fluidity when mixed with polymers and hence low packing density. Recently, we successfully obtained single-crystalline spherical AlN fillers. Furthermore, polymer composites filled with the spherical AlN showed excellent thermal conductivity (>8 W/mK) as encapsulants for dissipating the heat generated in electronic devices. 相似文献

The formation of lead tantalates in the PbO-rich region is studied using the powders prepared by the simultaneous hydrolysis of lead and tantalum alkoxides. Cubic 3PbO · 2Ta2O5 solid solutions crystallize at low temperatures from amorphous materials between 60 and 75 mol% PbO. The lattice parameter,a, increases linearly from 1.0545 to 1.0705 nm with increasing PbO. At higher temperatures the solid solutions above 66.67 mol% PbO are transformed into those of rhombohedral 2PbO · Ta2O5. Rhombohedral 5PbO · 2Ta2O5 is formed at 850 to 900 °C by transformation of 2PbO·Ta2O5 solid solution corresponding to 71.43 mol% PbO. For the effective use of short-lived radioactive beams, soon to be available at the Tokai Radioactive Ion Accelerator Complex, the authors have developed a radiotracer method for diffusion studies in solids. The experimental test was performed by the measurement of the diffusion coefficients of Li in a sample of the compound βLiAl using an α-emitting radiotracer of 8Li (T1/2=0.84 s). It was found that the time-dependent yields of the α particles from the diffusing 8Li that was initially implanted in the sample could be used as a measure of the diffusivity of the tracer in a nondestructive way. The method was applied to measure the self-diffusion coefficients of Li in βLiGa, and for investigating how the Li diffusion in the Li ionic conductors is affected by the concentration of atomic defects (i.e., the existence of the atomic vacancies of Li and the defects in Ga sites that are replaced by Li). 相似文献

One approach in swarm robotics is homogeneous system which is embedded with sensing, computing, mobile and communication components. In this study, a target detection problem, which is one of navigation problems, was employed. Once a robot detects a target, robots immediately communicate with a base station via intermediate relay robots due to the multi-hop transmission of wireless communication. Therefore, this control task is completed with connectivity of the network. In a target detection problem, we must improve the performance of exploration as well as connectivity of the network.
