Although the density of states (DOS) distribution of charge transporting states in an organic semiconductor is vital for device operation, its experimental assessment is not at all straightforward. In this work, the technique of energy resolved–electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (ER-EIS) is employed to determine the DOS distributions of valence (highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)) as well as electron (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO)) states in several organic semiconductors in the form of neat and blended films. In all cases, the core of the inferred DOS distributions are Gaussians that sometimes carry low energy tails. A comparison of the HOMO and LUMO DOS of P3HT inferred from ER-EIS and photoemission (PE) or inverse PE (IPE) spectroscopy indicates that the PE/IPE spectra are by a factor of 2–3 broader than the ER-EIS spectra, implying that they overestimate the width of the distributions. A comparison of neat films of MeLPPP and SF-PDI2 or PC(61)BM with corresponding blends reveals an increased width of the DOS in the blends. The results demonstrate that this technique does not only allow mapping the DOS distributions over five orders of magnitude and over a wide energy window of 7 eV, but can also delineate changes that occur upon blending.  相似文献

A method for determining the scattering matrix of the junction between smooth and corrugated cylindrical waveguides is developed. The model is based on expanding the modal fields for the corrugated waveguide into eigenfunctions of the transmission matrix of a waveguide unit cell. This method, used in conjunction with usual techniques for evaluating the scattering matrix of mode converters, is shown to improve the precision of results obtained by rendering uniform the accuracy of the models applied in the calculations. The analysis is now valid for any size of corrugation depth, and the frequency band, of applicability is enlarged accordingly  相似文献

Semi-hydrogenation of alkynes to industrially important alkenes is earnestly desirable in the fine chemical industry but energetically unfavorable. Herein, it is reported that mesoporous palladium (meso-Pd) catalyst changes the hydrogenation pathways in ethanol with ammonium borane as the hydrogen source, realizing the high catalytic selectivity of ≈99% in semi-hydrogenation of alkynes. Mechanism studies reveal that the active polar hydrogen can be produced and reserved well in the electron-rich mesoporous channels of meso-Pd catalyst, resulting in a transfer hydrogenation pathway, which selectively semi-hydrogenates alkynes into alkenes without over-hydrogenating alkenes into alkanes. Moreover, it is demonstrated that the polar hydrogen engineering of meso-Pd catalyst is highly efficient in various alkyne semi-hydrogenation and chemoselective hydrogenation reactions. The results thus establish metal catalyst mesostructuring as an alternative route for engineering polar hydrogen in the transfer hydrogenation reactions, thus realizing the high catalytic selectivity in various selective catalysis.  相似文献

The treatment of diabetic wound remains a big clinical challenge. Hydrogel that can provide physical barrier and humidity displays amazing potentials for managing the diabetic wounds healing. Herein, a new charge-driven self-assembled microsphere hydrogel scaffold (SMHS) is reported based on an electric charge interaction, by combining use of black phosphorus (BP)-contained chitosan methacryloyl (CS) microspheres with positive charge and basic fibroblast growth factor-contained hyaluronic acid methacryloyl (HA) microspheres with negative charge. The weak charge attraction among microspheres gives the SMHS the injectable characteristic. Due to the existence of BP, near-infrared (NIR) irradiation has obvious effects on the degradation and drug release behaviors of SMHS. Significantly, SMHS that combines the short-term physical (photothermal) intervention and long-term chemical (drug release) intervention may be promising in spatio-temporal regulation of regenerative microenvironment. SMHS with NIR irradiation (SMHS+NIR) can promote cell proliferation, cell migration, angiogenesis and macrophage polarization. Moreover, in diabetic rat skin wounds, SMHS+NIR significantly accelerates the wound healing process by simultaneously inhibiting the inflammatory response, promoting angiogenesis and tissues remodeling. The outcome of this research not only provides a biomaterial for diabetic wounds healing, but also demonstrates a new strategy for designing novel hydrogel-based biomaterials which have the free editing and combination functions.  相似文献

In 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) long term evolution (LTE) systems, when no resources has been assigned in the uplink to a given user equipment (UE), the control information associated with layers 1 and 2 in the protocol stack is conveyed back to the base station through the so-called physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). In PUCCH, the data streams transmitted by multiple UEs are multiplexed in the time-domain and in the frequency-domain with the aid of spreading codes. Although the spreading codes associated with UEs within the same cell can be assumed to be orthogonal, the presence of inter-cell interference (ICI) in multi-cell scenarios severely limits receiver performance. In particular, the Format 1 of PUCCH, which is associated with the transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgements (ACK/NACK) and scheduling requests, has a major impact on system performance, since an incorrectly decoded ACK/NACK message may introduce significant delay in data transmission. In this contribution, we propose a new multi-user receiver for ICI reduction in PUCCH LTE that operates both in cooperative and non-cooperative multi-cell architectures. The proposed receiver relies on a constrained tensor modeling of the received signal in PUCCH signaling, and affords an iterative joint channel estimation and symbol detection by simultaneously exploiting the energy of the data symbols and the pilot tones present in PUCCH. The formulation of the proposed algebraic receiver model incorporates symbol-basis hopping and slot-basis hopping signaling schemes, which are interference randomization techniques existing in the 3GPP specifications of LTE system. Computer simulation results show the remarkable performance gains of the proposed receiver compared to the conventional time-frequency decorrelator based receiver.  相似文献

This work presents an admission control mechanism for multi-hop wireless mesh networks based on the IEEE 802.11 standard and the OLSR routing protocol. This mechanism, called CAC-OLSR, aims at ensuring that traffic flows with quality of service (QoS) requirements, especially voice and video, are only admitted in the mesh network if it has available resources in order to provide flow requirements. In addition, QoS requirements of previously admitted traffic flows cannot be violated. The proposal was evaluated with NS-2 and Evalvid simulations.  相似文献

This work presents the design of LDMOS transistors fully compatible with a standard CMOS process, only requiring mask layout manipulation. A conventional 0.35 μm CMOS process was elected to demonstrate the viability of the approach. The prototyped LDMOS transistor exhibits a breakdown voltage of 24 V, which represents an improvement of 31% when compared with the high-voltage extended-drain NMOS available in the process library, while other static parameters remain in the same range. Furthermore, this solution enables the CMOS integration of a high-voltage pass-transistor, as a consequence of the formation of an isolated lightly doped p-type region inside the n-well.  相似文献

Nanoelectronics is a very promising step the world of electronics is taking. It is proved to be more efficient than the microelectronic approaches currently in use, mainly in terms of area and energy management. A Single-Electron Transistor (SET) is capable of confining electrons to sufficiently small dimensions, so that the quantization of both their charge and their energy is easily observable, making the SET's quantum mechanical devices. These features should allow building chips with a number of devices orders of magnitude greater than indicated by the roadmap still respecting area and power consumption restrictions. In this sense, Tera Scale Integrated (TSI) systems can be feasible in the future. A digital module, such as an arithmetic logic unit, completely implemented with SETs has already been proposed and validated by simulation. In this work a completely SET based network-on-chip (NoC) nanoelectronic core is proposed. Furthermore, a simple NoC architecture based on that nanoelectronic core is also evaluated. It is shown that the SET-based NoC has a promising performance considering parameters such as power consumption, area and clock frequency. A simple comparison of mesh NoC chip prototypes is shown.  相似文献

High-switching frequency associated with soft commutation techniques is a trend in switching converters. Following this trend, a buck pulsewidth modulation (PWM) converter is presented. The DC voltage conversion ratio of this converter has a quadratic dependence on duty cycle, providing a large stepdown. This new buck quadratic PWM soft-single-switched converter, having only a single active switch, provides a high efficient operating condition for a wide load range at high-switching frequency. In order to illustrate the operating principle of this new converter, a detailed study including theoretical analysis, relevant equations and simulation, and experimental results is carried out  相似文献
