This paper proposes a distributed multi-agent approach for dynamic part routing in automated manufacturing systems. In particular, each part in the system is associated to an intelligent software agent that must select its next destination autonomously (i.e. ignoring the actions of the other agents) and in real time (i.e. at each time it completes an operation on a workstation). Differently from other existing approaches, we overcome the typical myopia of negotiation algorithms based on dispatching rules by allowing the part agents to take decisions not only about the imminent operation, but also for the subsequent ones. The anticipated decisions are transmitted to workstation agents, which are also designated to detect and resolve conflicts by modifying part agents’ decisions. To describe the single agents and their interaction schemes in a formal way, we take advantage of DEVS discrete-event modelling tools, which also allow us to develop a detailed simulation platform for our multi-agent system. The simulation experiments obtained on a detailed model of a manufacturing system derived from the literature confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Several marine terpenoids that contain at least one reactive aldehyde group, such as manoalide and its congeners, possess interesting anti-inflammatory activities that are mediated by the covalent inactivation of secretory phospholipase A(2) (sPLA(2)). Scalaradial, a 1,4-dialdehyde marine terpenoid that was isolated from the sponge Cacospongia mollior, is endowed with a relevant anti-inflammatory profile, both in vitro and in vivo, through selective sPLA(2) inhibition. Due to its peculiar dialdehyde structural feature, it has been proposed that scalaradial exerts its enzymatic inactivation by means of an irreversible covalent modification of its target. In the context of our on-going research on anti-PLA(2) natural products and their interaction at a molecular level, we studied scalaradial in an attempt to shed more light on the molecular mechanism of its PLA(2) inhibition. A detailed analysis of the reaction profile between scalaradial and bee venom PLA(2), a model sPLA(2) that shares a high structural homology with the human synovial enzyme, was performed by a combination of spectroscopic techniques, chemical reactions (selective modifications, biomimetic reactions), and classical protein chemistry (such as proteolytic digestion, HPLC and mass spectrometry), along with molecular modeling studies. Unexpectedly, our data clearly indicated the noncovalent forces to be the leading event in the PLA(2) inactivation process; thus, the covalent modification of the enzyme emerges as only a minor side event in the ligand-enzyme interaction. The overall picture might be useful in the design of SLD analogues as new potential anti-inflammatory compounds that target sPLA(2) enzymes.  相似文献

In the past few years, strong efforts have been devoted to improving the frequency of optical-fiber communications. In particular, the use of a special kind of integrated optoelectronic device called an electroabsorption modulated laser (EML) allows communication at 10 Gb s(-1) or higher over long propagation spans (up to 80 km). Such devices are realized using the selective area growth (SAG) technique and are based on a multiple quantum well (MQW) distributed-feedback laser (DFB) monolithically integrated with a MQW electroabsorption modulator (EAM). Since the variation in the chemical composition between these two structures takes place on the micrometer scale, in order to study the spatial variation of the relevant parameters of the MQW EML structures, the X-ray microbeam available at the ESRF ID22 beamline is used. The effectiveness of the SAG technique in modulating the chemical composition of the quaternary alloy is proven by a micrometer-resolved X-ray fluorescence (μ-XRF) map. Here, reported micrometer-resolved extended X-ray absorption fine structure (μ-EXAFS) spectra represent the state of the art of μ-EXAFS achievable at third-generation synchrotron radiation sources. The results are in qualitative agreement with X-ray diffraction (XRD) and micrometer-resolved photoluminescence (μ-PL) data, but a technical improvement is still crucial in order to make μ-EXAFS really quantitative on such complex heterostructures.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to study the psychrotrophic microbiota developing during milk creaming of Grana Trentino cheese-making. 138 isolates from raw whole milk, cream and skim milk samples were screened by Randomly amplified polymorphic DNA PCR biotyping and representative strains of each biotype were characterised by partial 16S rRNA gene sequencing and enzymatic activity. Pseudomonadaceae were commonly isolated in cream samples while Streptococcaceae and Enterobacteriaceae in milk samples. Moraxellaceae and Flavobacteriaceae were found in both cream and milk samples.More than 80% of psychrotrophic isolates could grow at 37 °C. All Flavobacteriaceae and half of Pseudomonadaceae biotypes displayed proteolytic activity on milk agar even at low temperatures such as 10 °C. All Streptococcaceae and some of Enterobacteriaceae displayed acidifying activity and almost all Acinetobacter spp. (Moraxellaceae) displayed lipolytic activity towards tributyrin.Even if psychrotrophic bacteria is not the dominant microbial group in raw milk, their total number increases during creaming and becomes one of the most present group together with Lactic Acid Bacteria. Their enzymatic activities may be key players in determining milk quality for cheese making.  相似文献

Marine bioactive compounds are potential drug leads because of their diverse pharmacological effects against human diseases. The identification of their cellular targets is crucial for a rational approach to their application in medicinal chemistry. Thus, we have analyzed the cell interactome of suvanine, a sulfated tricyclic terpenoid of marine origin endowed with an interesting anti-inflammatory activity, by application of a chemical proteomic approach. Heat Shock Protein 60, a chaperone involved in the inflammatory response, is the main cellular target of suvanine, which is also able to interfere with protein chaperone activity, giving evidence for its anti-inflammatory properties.  相似文献

The qualitative performance characteristics of a qPCR-based method to detect human adenoviruses in raspberries were determined through a collaborative trial involving 11 European laboratories. The method incorporated a sample process control (murine norovirus) and an internal amplification control. Trial sensitivity or correct identification of 25-g raspberry samples artificially contaminated with between 5?×?102 and 5?×?104?PFU was 98.5%; the accordance and concordance were 97.0%. The positive predictive value was 94.2%. The trial specificity or percentage correct identification of non-artificially contaminated samples was 69.7%; the accordance was 80.0% and the concordance was 61.7%. The negative predictive value was 100%. Application of a method for the detection of human adenoviruses in food samples could be useful for routine monitoring for food safety management. It would help to determine if a route of contamination exists from human source to food supply chain which pathogenic viruses such as norovirus and hepatitis A virus could follow.  相似文献

The molecular basis of the inactivation of bee venom PLA2 by the marine natural product bolinaquinone (BLQ) was studied by several spectral techniques (CD, fluorescence, and NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry), biomimetic reactions, and molecular modeling. Our data suggest competitive inhibition based on a BLQ-PLA2 noncovalent molecular recognition. However, BLQ is also able to react selectively with Lys133 through conjugate addition followed by a beta elimination. The biological implications of both the covalent and noncovalent molecular events are discussed.  相似文献

The experiment, which lasted 53 d, was conducted during the winter (February and March) of 2004 and used 48 Comisana ewes in mid lactation. A 2 x 2 factorial design was used, with ewes receiving two levels of dietary crude protein (CP) (moderate, 16% CP v. low, 13% CP) in the dry matter (DM) and being exposed to two ventilation rates (moderate, 47 m3/h v. low, 23.5 m3/h per ewe) for each dietary treatment. Air concentrations of NH3 and of microorganisms were measured twice weekly. Milk yield was recorded daily. Individual milk samples were analysed weekly for composition and fortnightly for bacteriological characteristics. After the last milk sampling (day 49 of the study period), four animals from each group were placed in a metabolism box and their individual faeces and urine were collected for three consecutive days. Amounts of urine and faeces excreted, and urinary and faecal N outputs were measured. The 16% CP diet resulted in a lower milk casein content and a higher milk urea concentration than the 13% CP diet, as well as in a reduced gross efficiency of utilization of dietary N, a greater amount of N excreted and a higher total coliform concentration in milk. The moderate ventilation rate resulted in higher yields of milk, irrespective of CP content. Significant interactions of CP level x ventilation rate were found for the amounts of urine, of total water and of faecal N, and for mesophilic concentration in milk, the highest values being displayed by the ewes fed the 16% CP diet and exposed to the low ventilation rate. The moderate dietary CP level and low ventilation rate had a deleterious effect on air concentrations of microorganisms and ammonia. Results suggested that a reduction of dietary CP level from 16 to 13% of DM had no detrimental effect on ewe milk yield in mid lactation and could even improve some of its nutritional and hygienic characteristics. Our findings also indicate that the choice of a proper ventilation rate is critical for high efficiency of production in the lactating ewe, especially in intensively managed flocks receiving diets high in CP.  相似文献
